“Solo date night vibes at Mikata ✨ Spoiling myself with a little bit of everything tonight: started with a glass of Trivento Malbec, then dove into a Baked Salmon Roll and Snow crab Roll (both Marla’s picks – she did not disappoint!). The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. For the main, I went big with a Shrimp, Lobster, and Chicken Rice Hibachi – packed with all the smoky, savory goodness you could dream of.

To top it off, Marla brought me hot water with lemon and honey to make my own tea. The teapot? Adorably perfect. This is what I call a quality night of self-care!

“Was there a management change recently?? I got the Yum Yum Shrimp and Chicken lo mein yesterday and neither was what I have gotten before. The yum yum shrimp were basically over battered small shrimp with a side of sauce in a container. This was not at all what I’ve ordered before. The chicken in the lo mein usually is very chunky, juicy and very flavorful, therefore putting it a step above other Chinese takeout places. This was not the case this time. It looked and tasted like every other takeout spot. The chicken was shaved very thin, had no flavor and there were way too many vegetables mixed in. Very disappointed and won’t be going back.“

“Sushi Hut & Hibachi has been my go-to for takeout, and they continue to impress me with their exceptional customer service. I regularly place and pay for my orders through their convenient online portal, and the process is always smooth and easy.

During my last visit, I sent my teenager in to pick up our order, and instead of her coming back with the food, she returned with a message from the staff. They noticed I normally order hibachi shrimp and wanted to double-check if my order of shrimp fried rice was intentional or a mistake. Sure enough, I had ordered the wrong thing!

The fact that they paid attention to such a detail and took the time to confirm with me shows the level of care they put into their service. They kindly remade the order without any hassle, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. It’s rare to find a place that genuinely cares about ensuring their customers are satisfied.

For our experience, service was nice. Sushi and hibachi rice, wings were okay. They need more seasoning. The hibachi meat need to be cook better; Sushi needs to have more flavor. “The sashimi piece on top of the nigiri is larger than most traditional sushi so it’s a happy place here. Service is good too. Only thing is the place is hidden and a little hard to find. It’s on the back side of a building down a steep parking lot hill.“

“Classic Japanese restaurant. The fish quality is on par with the very expensive restaurants in town. This is just a no frills really solid sushi spot.

We typically order the fried octopus appetizer and 21 pieces of Sashimi. We get out the door for around $100.

I'd be willing to bet they have the same fish suppliers as Umai and Eight.

“Hands down, the best sushi I've ever had. They incorporate truffle oil in some of their rolls and if you like truffle, you cannot go wrong. Very savory. I'd recommend the avocado balls, crunchy spicy tuna roll and the snow crab in miso soup. The truffle aioli salmon appetizer is another hit. The cocktails - Wow! Thai Me Up is a their version of a spicy margarita but they use some sort of oil and it is delicious! I'll be craving that drink for a long time. It's not cheap but if you're looking for a treat or have a special occasion, it's a full recommend from me! “We loved this. I hope it becomes an Atlanta institution where we're still going here 20 years from now. This restaurant is a bit of a splurge or special occasion type place but totally worth it.

Our server Andrew was great. Everything we ate was delicious and the drinks were fabulous. It scored top points in all categories. My only complaint was that even though the restaurant wasn't full it is very loud in the space. As a coursed meal the pace was great and on the faster side, which I loved.

We both did the 8 course Omesake. My husband's favorite course was the final steak prepped with the cavier and garlic chip. I liked the steak with the egg yolk, ginger, chive the best. The Slider was perfection and a really fun way to end a meal. The only disappointment was the Lobster rice. It was a delicious dish with potential but a little dry and rubbery. I think this one needs work. The sashimi was so fresh and the accompinmets were awesome. Loved the starter trio, I could eat a million of the tacos. So many stars across this meal!

Based on all the bad/mediocre restaurants in Atlanta this is a standout and should go on your list.“

Grew up going here and you get an authentic experience with FRESH sushi. ? bento box is also top notch if you’re not feeling sushi. Would recommend to anyone but be careful - Tanaka will get you hooked. Great food and very reasonable prices for what you get.“

“After trying so many other omakase's, even some that are Michelin rated, I find myself still continuing to crave NoriFish! The flavors are just so unique and the omakase experience truly tells a story. The fish just melts in your mouth and you can really taste the quality. Out of the five times I've been now for the Premium Omakase, I have always had such amazing service that has been consistent with every visit. This may not be the most "traditional" way of serving omakase if that is what you're looking for, but in terms of price point and for the delicious food you get, I think it is money well spent. I always rave about NoriFish and this is definitely one of my favoritest restaurants of all time.“

“One of the BEST dining experiences I have had in a long time. My husband and I went last night for our 2nd anniversary and everything from the ambiance, service, food was AMAZING. Our server Coy / Koi (sorry if misspelled) was absolutely amazing and made great recommendations to us. He was incredibly attentive and made sure we got all of our food and drinks in a timely manner. We started with the Rock Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber & Seaweed Salad, and Yellowtail Appetizer. This was our first time trying yellowtail and it did not disappoint. The salad was also INSANE - so refreshing and bright! For mains, we had the Lobster Tempura Roll, New Age Roll (hubby’s fave), and Surf & Turf Roll (my fave). We finished with the “Donut Touch my Donut” and Matcha Icecream. The donut had a nice chewy / mochi-like bite with a crispy exterior. Cannot express enough how great everything was - totally worth every penny!“

“Wow! The new management/owners of Wasabi have made great changes. The food (especially the sushi) is delicious - everything was fresh and presented in a lovely way. The restaurant is bright and comfortable. The staff is efficient and the service is fast. We stopped in for a quick dinner and it was delicious and fast. It's still a great place for a relaxed dining experience, but the new team is really firing on all cylinders. Our server, Alex, was great. “First time trying and Yuzu sushi is a solid spot with many rolls.
I started off with the tuna crisp which was pretty decent. I was expecting bigger chunks of tuna but it’s actually very fine pieces with tempura mixed in.
Then I had the scallop, yellowtail, and spider roll. I liked the yellowtail maki roll the most and it tasted fresh and fatty. However the scallop roll was just okay. I noticed they use the smaller scallop variety which is probably why. Overall solid meal with good ambiance“

“Went to this place in Doraville, GA called Yebisuya where I had Omurice for the first time along with a Yebisuya Bun that I also got and tried for the first time. Omurice: although this wasn't the Omurice I was expecting this was definitely still a very delicious version. Underneath is a bed of fried rice that was just so good with an omelet layered on top of it. They give you 3 sauce choices Spicy Kewpie Mayo, Ketchup, and Tonkatsu sauce. I chose the spicy mayo which by the way wasn't spicy at all I could have ate a ton of that stuff with no problem and those that know me know I don't handle spice well lol. Yebisuya Bun: is basically a steamed bun with chicory, scallion, and I got it with Tonkatsu pork in it and yall when I tell yall I could have ate 10 of these bad boys. The bun was so soft and the filling was sooooo flavorful like you just have to try it. Every time we took a bite of whatever Yun gave us we closed our eyes and sat back in our chairs and started moaning. Hell I don’t think I’ve heard my wife moan that much before but then again I don’t think I’ve moan that much either. “They have catered for 2 of my events and have always been super professional and very reasonably priced. If we are talking about the food, their food is by far some of the best hibachi I’ve had in Atlanta. Their sauces especially the Diablo sauce are amazing !!!!
