“Good vibes and good people! We loved this place so much. The check in even reminded me of an escape room, which made it extra fun. Such a cozy atmosphere. You can really tell they put a lot of love and thought into creating the space.”
“Delicious! I got Da Boss! And it more than delivered! Sooooo delicious!😋”
“Recommended by a friend and it was fantastic. Huge portions too.”
“Garlic shrimp, ribeye steak, and Korean chicken were flavoured so well and cooked perfectly! The shrimp tastes way better than the more famous shrimp trucks. (We also ordered the ahi Katsu, which didn't land on the faves list, but that's a matter of personal preference. It was cooked and flavoured well...I just prefer a seared ahi over a fully cooked one.)
Service was friendly and quick, atmosphere is average...it's a food truck at the edge of the Lowe's parking lot 🙃
10/10 would recommend and would return!”

“A hidden gem! Tucked away in an industrial area, you find yourself in a tropical Cafe that serves you amazing food. Warm and friendly lady was looking after the whole place but she was gracious and unhurried with each table. Treated well, fed well and had an unhurried supper before heading to the airport for late flight out. We'll be back next time we visit Maui.”

“This was our first restaurant in Maui right after getting the rental car, and I can say that it was an amazing start to the trip. Its a small place may be 10 tables to expect wait. The service is prompt and courteous. Food is the star of the show. We ordered the Chicken cutlet, Kumu Shrimp, poke and spam musubi. Everything was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place.”
“My family of 6 loved the food. We had the mochicko chicken, garlic noodles, garlic shrimp and spicy chicken sandwich. Big portions. It’ll be lunch for me tomorrow. I would definitely go back again. The staff were polite and sounded like they were having a great time in the kitchen.”

“Ordered mango sticky rice bowl and acai bowl. They taste great. However, the server was taking her sweet old time. I mean deliberately going slow even with people waiting. I dont expect anyone to rush and stress out, but this was pretty funny if you were watching her prepare the bowls. 5 stars if you get a good worker, perhaps others will be better, or if you don't mind the carefree service (this was at 2pm Friday, June 12, 2026)”
“First time in Maui and found this gem! Delicious mochi! The white chocolate dipping sauce with the poi Mochi was delicious and the lychee with the pog sauce was wonderful!”

“This was the second time we've eaten there, and both times were delicious! Lots of food choices. Everything we tried was so yummy. We'll definitely be going again.”
“I cried good tears this morning. I've never in my life cried because of how divine the food was. I ordered the crab cakes benedict, usually when I order crab cakes it's a hash brown with little bits of crab meat but this one is purely crab and it was so fresh like it was caught in the early hours before restaurant opened. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly. It was love on a plate, my compliments to the chef! Service was absolutely wonderful, lovely and welcoming ladies. They were very attentive and efficient. Mahalo nui loa! 🌺”
“This food truck stop features a great variety with about 10 different trucks to choose from. We tried a few different spots during our visit. First up was Mo Ono Hawaii for an acai bowl, which was absolutely delicious and super refreshing! Next, we tried Dino’s Gourmet. The burger came on a unique ube bun with a side of fresh-cut fries; while the burger itself was just okay, the fries were perfectly crispy and a major highlight. Finally, we grabbed the 3 tacos for $5 deal. The portions are on the smaller side, but for the price, it’s an incredible value. Overall, a fun spot with plenty of options!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Balai Pata is an absolute gem, and absolutely needed on North Shore / Central Maui in what’s otherwise a restaurant abyss of tourist forward formulaic burgers & fish tacos. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but it deserves way more recognition than it has received. I’m honestly shocked it’s not packed every single night. Their innovative fusion menu is both playful and thoughtful, with fresh, farm-to-table dishes that change often enough to keep every visit exciting. The staff are the sweetest aunties, making us feel like family and doting on our toddler every time we come. Our little one (and the rest of us!) can’t get enough of their malunggay (moringa) handmade garlic noodles. No liquor license yet, so it’s BYOB, which makes for an even more relaxed, homey vibe. Easily one of our favorite spots on the island - and I’m sure it will become one of your favorites too.”
“10/10 The most amazing made to order ice cream with small fruit chunks. So tasty and different from the rest I’ve tried so far.
Had their matcha, also one of the best matcha has I tried in Maui.
And their tiramisu cloud I highly recommend you top your drink with that. You are not going to regret it.”
“One of the food trucks in the Maika’i market in the Maui Mall Village and possibly my favourite meal in Maui. Food is made to order so the pork was crispy, juicy and so tender. The fresh onion, tomato, and vinegar dipping sauce balanced the pork’s richness and fattiness beautifully. The people running it are friendly and clearly care that they are serving great food. Huge portion too - it served as both lunch and dinner! Would love to go back and try more things.”
“Cashew chicken was ok. Would not order again. I had asked for no peppers in the dish, and it came loaded with green peppers. I mentioned it and they took it away and removed the peppers. Overall , taste not memorable. Their basil chicken dish is much better. Get that if you want chicken.
I paid $21 for cashew chicken and $2.50 for 1 scoop of rice. Note they add a small kitchen fee, taxes, plus tip. Total for this simple dish was over $30.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“It’s a random good find for Japanese food from soba to okanawa pork belly. A good portion for the price and yummy. The strawberry lemonade was the right amount of sweet and sour.
It is outdoor seating and parking does seem haphazard at night but seems chill. Across the park had a dessert that is super popular.”
“The BEST quesabirria I’ve ever had, coming from a self-proclaimed quesabirria connoisseur. When we landed in Maui this was the first place we came to. It was so good that we made the half hour drive to come back a few days later. The steak burrito and chicken tacos were also delicious. The owner is from Mexico and all of the dishes are authentic family recipes. My only wish is that we had more time to come back and try more of her dishes!! The service is great, the food is delicious, and they were also very accommodating to gluten allergies. Definitely check them out!”
“The pulled pork buns and macaroni salad (didn’t know that was included) were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Price is right and the food is fresh and delicious. I spoke to the owner and she said the sauce is homemade and the pork is their specialty. I can’t recommend highly enough.”

“Nice central location that has my favorite food trucks -- Only Ono BBQ and Bang Um Out Grindz. There are shaded seating areas, some outdoor games, + music (jumbo Jenga blocks, bean bag toss).
Simply Local is the indoor store and has a great selection of local gifts, including fresh leis. And if fresh flowers are out of the question, there are beautiful prints of leis instead. I bought a matching set of a native plant patterned tea towel and washi tape by Hinu Rise, which felt fitting as gifts for our friends in Japan.”
“Basic, but very tasty food served by friendly staff. Well-executed Korean food selection and very large servings! I like how you get a lot of ban-chan (Korean sides) with the food.”
Cheap Eats
“We had already ordered poke and a drink at two food trucks when we walked by and saw lumpia on the menu so we had to get it! I didn’t have cash, but they let me order the $5 lumpia side anyway on my credit card. No line, so it was fried fresh and ready in about five minutes. Three pieces of lumpia, they had a good amount of pork and veggie filling, this reminded me of mom’s style of lumpia. Their vinegar dipping sauce was good, but a little non traditional from what I’m used to. It had a spicy kick to it, tasted like Tabasco was added. I’d love to come back sometime to try their entrees! Mahalo”
“The former Pearl's Korean BBQ is now Won's.
MENU:
Mix of Korean & local Hawaiian entrees.
FOOD:
Chicken Katsu
While this is far from being a Korean dish, it's what I was craving. The two slabs of chicken were breaded and deep-fried to a golden brown, and laid out on 2 scoops of steamed white rice. You can choose 4 banchan sides, in which I got mac salad x2, bean sprouts, and potato mayo. Their katsu sauce is too sweet, which is why I always do takeout so I can use my Kagome-brand sauce from home lol.
Man Doo Kook Soo
This is a Korean version of ramen but was anything but. The rice noodles were a bit overcooked and didn't have any chewiness to it. I like them as a somen dish but not as a noodle soup. The broth was clear, very subtle in flavor, and tasted similar to egg drop soup. The bowl was topped with 4 good-sized pieces of soft mandoo with a tasty pork filling, egg washed shredded pork, and cooked white & green onions. Temperature was hot but not searing. Better than pho but it'd never dethrone a ramen in my world, lol.
SERVICE:
The workers were welcoming and friendly. I got my order in about 10 minutes.
OVERALL:
Bang for your buck! They'll do well here.”
“Walk right past the long line at Starbucks and go here for your pre flight coffee. Even if not leaving from this terminal, it’s air conditioned, shorter wait, better coffee and a seating area where you can look over the West Maui mountains, weep over needing to leave and plan your next trip back.”
“A little hole in the wall Maui gem of a restaurant!
No frills menu, on point on taste, generous portion, very consistent gratifying taste on all their dishes, affordable price and excellent service!
Been to many places within and outside US… Ramen Ya’s fried rice is something to brag about.”
“We found Massimo through google, he is a warm, friendly, and generous soul who make delicious crepes in just the way you like them! He also offered us some complimentary fresh focaccia which was so yummy too. Highly recommend if you are looking for a sweet treat, or ladies if you want to eat your feelings!!”
“First time customers tonight and absolutely loved this place! Avery was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions His partner Jeremy rounded out our five star experience and we will be back before leaving for the mainland! Delicious 😋 😋”
“When we pulled up to stop for dinner before a flight, I have to confess I was not impressed. The restaurant is part of a mostly dead mall and the it had no other customers, which did not inspire a lot of confidence. I guess this was due to the fact that their liquor license expired and won’t be renewed for 2 more weeks—our server said they usually have a lively bar! Luckily, though, I didn’t trust my first impressions because we all agreed the food was actually fantastic! I got the quesabirria and really enjoyed it. The horchata was good as well. My husband enjoyed his birria chimichanga and other family members said the quesadillas and fajitas were great, also!”
“Ok, I can't say anything about the dinner buffet, but my husband and I went to the Breakfast Buffet, and let me say a few things:
- The Fruit Punch was tasty and fresh
- Three different types of pancakes! Regular, Coconut, and a purple one made with ume, which was my favorite
- Fried Rice was yummy. As were the potato wedges
- Several types of protien, from bacon to sausages to sliced... ham? Spam? Dunno. But it was good.
If I had one complaint it's that I wanted more variety for the price, but the food that was there was good and I liked the atmosphere and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. It's better than some of the poor reviews it's gotten!”
“We needed a place late at night to eat before our flight, and this seemed like one of the best options.
The burgers were satisfying. Nothing special, like something you might have at a friend's BBQ, but they're solid. Fries were pretty great and my wife enjoyed her drink quite a bit.
Service was excellent, our waitress Nancy was quick to help and was regularly checking in on us to see if we needed anything.
Really solid food option, especially compared to most airport restaurants I've been in.”
“The “mini bullet train” delivery is absolutely the fun part, and it made this a memorable lunch stop. We tried jalapeño ahi nigiri, garlic tamago nigiri, Spam nigiri, plus a dragon roll and a spicy tuna option, and we walked away feeling like the novelty is stronger than the value. We wouldn’t call it bad, but for us it’s probably a “once in a while” spot rather than a must-do.
We featured it in our YouTube video, search for “Replicate the Magic” on YouTube to find it.”

“It was a pleasant surprise to find clean rooms, pleasant helpful people, and could actually have fun, albeit, there are always "those people"! Maui without roaches? They were here first! No AC? I didn't stay in the room Ling enough! Too much to see! Why does every hotel have to conform to being quiet, not having fun, fake smiles and mean people! Maybe we have forgotten to be social and kind!? Lighten up, live and let live, means mind your own business. Especially them Christian folks! Judgy, that do not walk as Jesus did, the judge a the pharisees did! Ignorance is bliss! Human nature is ugly! Great time! Great Place! $$$! Everything here is double the price! Get over it!”

“Amazing management and staff. Eleu was telling me about how people come in from all around the country. Comments like this is the Cleanest CFA, kindest…Well I’ve never been to one with rude customer service. Anyhow he suggested I try the Banana pudding milkshake, amazing. Now I need to marry this milkshake ‘cause I love it so much. So ‘ono!”

“My daughter and I stopped in for a boba as the first place we stopped didn't open until noon.🤔 Daughter asked to get a bite. She ordered the Crab Stuffed Band Shrimp. Yuge serving, hands-down quite possibly the best shrimp I ate in 62 years...so happy she shared with me. Hand Salute, to these folks. We'll be back.”
