“We are shave ice nerds and try shave ice whenever we are in Hawaii. This is in our top 3 across the islands. The mango syrup was incredible. Our coconut one needed a bit more and the gal mentioned even before we took it that we should come back for more syrup if it was dry. They were great. I like ice cream but it wasn't even needed because the ice was so smooth and the syrups so flavorful.“

“I love ahonui when I am in the mood for take-out that’s also healthy and made of whole-foods. I am not a vegetarian, but I really like the food here. I always get the protein focaccia sandwich and warrior cold-pressed juice. I also love their salted chocolate chip cookie when I am in the mood for a sweet treat. “Prices are now $1/scoop so $2 for 2 scoops, $4 for 4 scoops. Scoops are small but pricing is reasonable. I preferred the pineapple to the strawberry which tasted more artificial to me (bubblegum flavor). Short line on a Tues afternoon and friendly staff“

“My wife and I were walking to Cupies to try their food for the first time. We saw some food trucks near by and thought we would take a look see. We decided to try Da-Soriano Grindz instead of Cupies. I built my own grinds plate(hope I used the proper grammatical structure?). I chose the Chinese marinated pork belly and shrimp with salad and noodles. THE BOMB YO! BROK DA MOUT! My wife and I shared it and we were both stuffed. The location is quiet, super clean, lots of shady benches(not shady as in Slim Shady-LOL) and the small customer-only restroom was spotless. There are not many food trucks here and we did not try the others, so I cannot help you there. Kudos though to all the truck owners(they refer to themselves as “tenants”) for they all pitch in to keep this space invitingly attractive.“

“Really good Filipino food. Extra large servings! Freshly cooked so it was a bit of a wait but very much worth the time. Our group of 10 people really enjoyed all the dishes especially the grilled pork, pompano and bangus. Forgot to take photos of the food as we dug right in! Worth the trip! Jayboy himself cooked the dishes then came out to have a nice chat with our group. Friendly guy.“

“Family friendly place. All soup base was pork and we don't eat pork. They were able to do water base. On the seaweed and egg soup. Did the fried chicken but I think they use same oil for pork for the chicken because it had a taste that was not right.
They were very nice and helpful so we had the soup , veggies and drinks. Paid for the chicken didn't want to be any more trouble.“

“I cried good tears this morning. I've never in my life cried because of how divine the food was. I ordered the crab cakes benedict, usually when I order crab cakes it's a hash brown with little bits of crab meat but this one is purely crab and it was so fresh like it was caught in the early hours before restaurant opened. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly. It was love on a plate, my compliments to the chef! Service was absolutely wonderful, lovely and welcoming ladies. “8/2023We were staying across the street at Maui Seaside Hotel to support Maui relief efforts. This was a very convenient and pleasant option. Food and selection were great, quick, and supported with friendly service. It was bust but didn't take too long to get to our table of nine. Not going into details about the plethora of items we ordered but suffice to say everything was onolicious! Again, the friendly service ( may have been the manager) helped top off the evening.
