“they're actually got amazing food“

“We stopped to get some dessert to go with the dinner we were going to make after a rainy day of sightseeing. I picked the sweet potato haupia pie, my husband had the lilikoi chiffon with cream cheese, and my nephew had the 4 pc Ube Mochi. We each tried a taste of each other’s desserts and I liked the lilikoi dessert the best. I forgot to take pics of the desserts but we also bought a dozen of taro rolls which we used for breakfasts egg sandwiches for 2 of the days. Ruth was so helpful and friendly in answering all my questions about the desserts in helping my selection. My mom grew up in Hawaii and used to make haupia and delicious rolls so it brought back some sweet memories and was especially fitting since part of our reason for our trip was to scatter some of her ashes.“

“It’s a cute little town with a handful of galleries and other shops. Not to be missed is Popo’s cookies and Banana Patch ( if it’s still around with kauai made pottery)“

“Large lunch plate option for a good price. I tried the bbq combo which came with ribs, chicken, flank steak, Mac and cheese and rice. Wish there was a small salad option just for some greens within the lunch plate. But overall great value for how much food is provided. Perfect stop for lunch during beach day.“

“They were open day after the storm, we stopped in for food after a day of cutting down trees. the plate lunches were even BETTER than usual and some beautiful, wonderful auntie ran up ro the front of the line for us (past tourist line) and not only put in our order first, she paid for it! And everyother local in line for the hour I was there. I love Bobbies and I love our little community. THANK YOU!!“

The food was a wonderful combination of flavors and delicious in every way! Our family and wedding party loved and raved about it all! “Have been on the Island 5 days so far and have enjoyed this beachfront destination at least 3 times so far. Stopped by and grabbed drinks and nachos...excellent! Stopped and had lunch the next day and the chicken teriyaki sandwiches were very good! Stopped for drinks and an early dinner last night and had a burger and fries, the wife had chicken teriyaki plate and both were great! Staff was great, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.“

“This food truck is the best place for poké on Kauai! Charming relaxed atmosphere, DELICIOUS food at affordable prices, all next to an open building with great shops. Corn hole game for the kiddos set up near the covered seating area. All 8 in our group agreed that this was the place to eat! Visited 2-3 times during our stay. Highly recommend!“

“Tide Pools has a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The surf and turf was absolutely delicious; best on the island with amazing flavor. My only issue was the seating; we ended up in a less appealing spot despite the place not being busy. The portions are a bit small for the price, but the great taste made up for it. Overall, a fantastic meal with a minor seating quirk.“

“Cleanest outdoor seating area I've come across on the west side. Workers were very pleasant, food smelled great as it was cooking. Portions were smaller compared to other taco places in the area, and quality (for what we ordered) was about the same. We did not opt for their fish tacos, which many others do review positively. They do offer vegetarian tacos, not sure about vegan though.“

“Red Salt is amazing! Highly recommend it. The best food on the island. Our server was Allen and he was amazing!!!! Great service and careful with our parties’ food allergies. Lovely memorable dining experience. The toasted pear salad and filet mignon were outstanding!“
