“It’s a cute little town with a handful of galleries and other shops. Not to be missed is Popo’s cookies and Banana Patch ( if it’s still around with kauai made pottery)”

“Amazing pizza and garlic knots.
We got the Rancher pizza and the garlic knots — can’t go wrong with that combo. The pizza was huge, easily enough for a family of 4, and everything tasted fresh and loaded with flavor.
Definitely a 5-star spot, we’ll be back!”

“This place is awesome, and they’re serving what is arguably one of the BEST breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. This thing was STUFFED with chorizo and eggs and then wrapped in that cheese and crisped up, yo who said they could go that hard? 🔥🔥🔥”

“Both times we had JoJo’s shaved ice while visiting Kauai the shaved ice was great! However I do have to say, the employees working the Kapa’a location was much more welcoming and friendlier than the Hanalei location.”

“I got the crusted Ono from hokus food truck at the Hanapepe art walk. The fish was good, but the Mac salad was THE BEST MAC SALAD I'VE EVER HAD. I don't know what he put in it, but it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend getting the Mac salad with whatever other order you get.”

“This is a fabulous Juicebar. Daughter ordered an açaí bowl and rated it as among the best she has eaten.
I enjoyed my Ironman and my husband enjoyed a modified Silverback. We were so glad we stumbled upon this place on our way back from the canyon to na Pali overlooks.”

“After a long morning at Waimea State Park, I picked Da Booze Shop because the name made me laugh. Well the jokes on me because the food, service, and atmosphere were stellar! I have always loved eating in Mom and Pop places because they always have the best food. I got the Mahi Katsu and had enough leftover for a snack. If you are traveling with kids this is a great place to eat. You can eat across the street at the park and let the kids play and expend some energy.”

“Our tour stopped in Hanapepe and we came across Midnight Bear Breads. Such a cute little town and bakery. My aunt and I picked up some delicious fresh pastry and breads. We really enjoyed them for breakfast while we stayed on the island. Thank you for the amazing memories. We are back home in Oklahoma and dream of your goodies!”

“Good place for dinner after a day exploring Waimea Canyon. We ordered a veggie pizza for take out. The pizza was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed it.
However, we asked to 'substitute' a few toppings but were charged for 'substitutes' as 'extra toppings'. One pizza cost us $45+ tips. So, we paid for the toppings we never had on our pizza too. in this regard, make sure you check before paying.”

“Cleanest outdoor seating area I've come across on the west side. Workers were very pleasant, food smelled great as it was cooking. Portions were smaller compared to other taco places in the area, and quality (for what we ordered) was about the same. We did not opt for their fish tacos, which many others do review positively. They do offer vegetarian tacos, not sure about vegan though.”

“Arrived late, selection was limited. Not sure what the hours are officially, door was opened so we walked in. Got 1 bag of each kind, $8 each. Don't get fresh taro chips in PA, so this was quite a treat. Plus the ambiance of an old Hawaiian roadside stand added to the experience.”
