“A wonderful culinary experience. The entire menu is based on a fusion of Hawaiian culture. The pork belly bao buns, lavender honey crispy shrimp are out of this world. They do not fall short on great tasting entrees either. The seafood lau lau is absolutely delicious. Dinner wouldn’t be complete without exceptional drinks and dessert, which you can count on Kō serving.

“Really good Hawaiian fare. We love the kalua pork and teriyaki chicken. If you get katsu chicken ask for extra sauce as they don't give near enough. We get take out from here every time we come to Maui. We got three plates of food for 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 13) and we had enough leftover for lunch the next day.”

These folks know what they're doing, are super friendly, and their BBQ is legit. They're using local wood in their offsets too, so it is a unique experience compared to other places.

Can't go wrong with their ribs and I loved every side I tried, with the Mac n Cheese being a standout.”

There was a good variety of options, and I liked the level of frozenness (if that's a word) the açai was so it didn't melt immediately. I went back a second time during my stay on the island because of the flavors, amount of food, cost, and extremely nice staff. So positive, friendly, and all around good vibes. I purchased the chicken burrito and corn in a cup twice. Excellent both times. This time around we added on the chicken taquitos. Also delicious. We recommend and would definitely go back.”

“This is an unassuming restaurant located in a strip mall just off of the beautiful beaches of Kihei, Maui that offers delicious fish tacos, fresh ahi & shrimp salads and yummy poke. (I understand they have another location, not too far away that probably serves similar dishes.) The advantage of this location in particular, is the bakery downstairs that fills the air with the smell of the tastiest cinnamon rolls. The portions here are generous and the quality of the seafood is superb. No frills when it comes to service; place your order at the counter, find a seat & wait for it to be delivered to your table. We had a large party of 12 and were able to all sit together, a nice perk for us. But they did forget one person's order, which was kind of a bummer because he had to wait so long for his food, most of us were finished eating ours by the time his arrived. So we shared some of our food with him while he waited. Not a problem since the portions were so large. Overall, I recommend Coconuts Fish Cafe with two thumbs up.”

“Pizza Madness is the best pizza on Maui! Excellent crust, fresh toppings and delicious sauces, both the red and white Alfredo, a good choice with garlic chicken. They also serve up some fine buffalo wings and have a buy ten get one large free pizza deal along with other items for points. We mostly do takeout and the food is always hot and ready to go promptly. We highly recommend Pizza Madness, been going there for years and love it every time. Phil, Cris and Kyle, Kihei Maui.”

“My husband and I eloped in Maui and wanted a small wedding cake for our special day. After exploring a few bakeries, we chose Maui Wedding Cakes because they seemed the most fresh, authentic, and unique. Casey was incredibly helpful in guiding us through flavor options. We selected vanilla cake with vanilla Italian buttercream frosting and whipped cream custard with lilikoi (Hawaiian passionfruit) filling. The cake was delivered to the restaurant where we had dinner after our ceremony, and it was stunning. When we took the first bite, we were amazed—it was hands down the best cake I’ve ever tasted. Casey is a true baking artist, and I'll be dreaming about that cake for years. If you're planning an event in Maui, I highly recommend Maui Wedding Cakes. You won't regret it.”

“We had a fantastic experience today at Beach Street Maui Shave Ice! From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing—so friendly and welcoming. We started our day with their delicious açaí bowls and bagels for breakfast, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Later in the afternoon, we came back to try their famous shave ice, and it did not disappoint!

The shave ice was incredible we tried HAWAIIAN RAINBOW, COCONUT MUD PIE, FIRECRACKER, and KIHEI SUNSET with vibrant flavors and fun toppings, definitely worth taking the time to try.
