They have a super cute patio you can sit out on with tiki torches to add to the “Hawaiian feel”. The only downfall is they don’t currently have their liquor license so you can’t order alcohol of any kind (including beer) but, the BYOB feature is a great option and a way to save money as well!”

“I know what you might be thinking when you see this place. Should I really bother trying to get genuine BBQ in Maui? Will this really stack up to a Carolina, Memphis, KC or Texas joint? Surprisingly, yes.

These folks know what they're doing, are super friendly, and their BBQ is legit. They're using local wood in their offsets too, so it is a unique experience compared to other places.

Can't go wrong with their ribs and I loved every side I tried, with the Mac n Cheese being a standout.”

“I was very impressed with this spot. Group had fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, grilled snapper and drinks. Everything was cooked exceptionally well, and such a good price point. Seasoning on the fried items was on point, with the perfect crispness without being dry.

Would highly recommend to those looking for this type of food, as it's a great price point and excellent quality. Note that it's a self seating so it's that kind of place, but we found seats easily (but like everywhere, look out for birds/chickens)”

“Food truck in Kihei, easy parking and nice pic nic tables all around. This food truck had great burger options, I ordered the 1/4 lb burger and it was huge. The pickles were really good. I did not order a side the burger was enough it was so big. The bun was soft and fresh. I really wanted to try the onion rings but opted for a lemonade instead. They do have ice tea as well. The burger was juicy but not greasy. Beware of the chickens, that being said the food truck park was exceptionally clean. Note that bathrooms are near by (portajohns).”

“We got screwed over by a bike rental company so we had to kill about 90 minutes before we could get the next rental. This place saved the day, they open at 10am, served some strong drinks at what was the best price we paid anywhere in Maui and were very welcoming. Maybe the Aloha spirit isn't dead yet. Since it’s Blake’s bday weekend they got ice cream for breakfast! He got birthday cake with cookies and cream and Hailey got birthday cake with bubble gum 🤪🎂🎉. We couldn’t get enough so I ordered a Chick Pea “tuna” Salad Wrap and Kyle got two giant ice cream cookie sandwiches to go! I think we found our new Sunday morning spot!!”

“This is an unassuming restaurant located in a strip mall just off of the beautiful beaches of Kihei, Maui that offers delicious fish tacos, fresh ahi & shrimp salads and yummy poke. (I understand they have another location, not too far away that probably serves similar dishes.) The advantage of this location in particular, is the bakery downstairs that fills the air with the smell of the tastiest cinnamon rolls. The portions here are generous and the quality of the seafood is superb. No frills when it comes to service; place your order at the counter, find a seat & wait for it to be delivered to your table. We had a large party of 12 and were able to all sit together, a nice perk for us. But they did forget one person's order, which was kind of a bummer because he had to wait so long for his food, most of us were finished eating ours by the time his arrived. So we shared some of our food with him while he waited. Not a problem since the portions were so large. Overall, I recommend Coconuts Fish Cafe with two thumbs up.”

“Pizza Madness is the best pizza on Maui! Excellent crust, fresh toppings and delicious sauces, both the red and white Alfredo, a good choice with garlic chicken. They also serve up some fine buffalo wings and have a buy ten get one large free pizza deal along with other items for points. We mostly do takeout and the food is always hot and ready to go promptly. We highly recommend Pizza Madness, been going there for years and love it every time. Phil, Cris and Kyle, Kihei Maui.”

Drink was about 8oz and full of ice for about $7. Each sooo was a dollar, but was tasty! Service was great, super welcoming and went the extra mile to ask us if we needed extra utensils a bag, napkins, etc. Seems like basic service but you’d be surprised at how many places you have to verbally ask for those things in HI if it’s your first trip. 4.8/5- only ding was the small drink- would recommend.”

“We had a fantastic experience today at Beach Street Maui Shave Ice! From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing—so friendly and welcoming. We started our day with their delicious açaí bowls and bagels for breakfast, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Later in the afternoon, we came back to try their famous shave ice, and it did not disappoint!

The shave ice was incredible we tried HAWAIIAN RAINBOW, COCONUT MUD PIE, FIRECRACKER, and KIHEI SUNSET with vibrant flavors and fun toppings, definitely worth taking the time to try.

Beach Street Maui Shave Ice is a must-visit when in Kihei—whether you’re grabbing breakfast or treating yourself to some shave ice, the quality and service make it an unforgettable stop!”

“What a fantastic performance Brenton put on with Mulligan's Magic Show! I had heard about this show from another family we met while horseback riding one day on our trip to Maui and we literally altered our Road to Hana day to be back in time for this show... and we were SO GLAD we did! It was the perfect evening and a nice break away from just seeing the beauty of nature. Brenton was funny, engaging, family friendly, and full of energy but he was also SO talented with his magic! I have a 21 and 18 year old and they were so impressed, laughing most of the night. We caught a couple of his tricks on video and posted them and our Facebook friends were in awe too! This show is WELL worth your time and money, and Mulligans offered fantastic dinner options too. Go see the show if you get the chance - you won't regret it! It's truly... well, "magical". :)”
