“Last night's Waikiki Block Party was packed and I ordered from this restaurant: lemongrass fried chicken and pad Thai (combo B) and the food was amazing! The lemongrass fried chicken was cooked to perfection; crispy, light batter, and juicy. The pad Thai was not dry an clumpy like other food stalls, but it was a little cold from being out. Otherwise, a very good takeout meal. I can only imagine what the restaurant experience is like.“

“The best Pho on Oahu. There's a good reason why there's probably a line to enter this small hole in the wall restaurant. I've tried many places, and I always come back to this one. It's authentic, and they even have pickled garlic which I don't think I've seen in many places. There is validated parking, but you could also park in the Walmart across the street. If you're craving Pho, definitely definitely come here!“

“I only come here for the Pho. The broth is not salty but savory. That's good because other Pho restaurants have you drinking 5 cups of water afterwards. portion size is mid with a few slices of meat and couple meatballs. The portion size will not satisfy a normal adult. I can't say that it's worth it to drop $18 and not be full. It is enough to satisfy the taste buds though.“

“Wow…we loved our meals. We stopped here by quickly on our way from Waikiki to the airport, and easily found street parking. The vermicelli bowls with lemongrass chicken & tofu (and a banh mi with pork + chicken) were so fresh, so filling, and really high quality. Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. “Absolutely incredible food. I got Combo #2 (Beef Pho, Spring Rolls, and Thai Tea), and I loved everything. The pho broth is so flavorful and they give a generous serving. The spring rolls come out hot and crispy. And the thai tea was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. Super small restaurant with limited seating, but service was super quick. This is the best vietnamese food I’ve had on island. Highly recommend!“

“This is my first visit at this Vietnamese Restaurant and I must say it was excellent. I went at around 0930, it was empty excep for two tables occupied. I was welcomed and greeted as i sat down. The dining area is clean, basic set up and minimal decor with a very low Vietnamese music coming out of the speakers. I can smell the aroma of deliciosness coming out of the kitchen. As i browse at the menu, I see that they offer Bun Bo Hue and Crab Meat Noodle soup which I wanted to try. But of course I went for my go to Pho Duc Biet, Combination Pho and the Spring Rolls and of course Iced Vietnamese Coffee.

The Large Combination Pho came out piping hot. The broth is clear, with enough fatty goodness and flavorful. A very well rounded broth, one of the best one in the island. Beefy and spices not overpowering at all and not too sweet. Very generous amount of meat toppings. The rice noodles are of perfect ratio to the broth and perfectly cooked. The herbs toppings are fresh and generous. I also love that they have chili oil available. The Spring Rolls was just okay. Smaller serving, and it tasted frozen and one was burn on one end. Next skip it and try something else. Minus 1 STAR.

Overall, food was authentic and great experience. Pho is the star of the show. One of the best I've had in Honolulu. I can wait to go back and try other dishes.“

“Was going to Pate , a banh mi place across the alley -- been going there a while and they are good and popular but always full of-- small space , often a wait at lunch or other. Happened upon this place and no line. Fantastic banh mi -- I got the crispy pork--great bread--some of the best I have had--, tasty pork with a sauce and lots of cilantro and other fillings. Be sure to check them out.“

The pho broth was tasty and had a generous serving of noodles and meat, while the papaya had a good balance of sweetness and sourness. The plantain was a great way to end our dinner! The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of the food. I highly recommend stopping here for a meal if you’re visiting Waikīkī. Just be aware that parking is limited, so finding a spot can be a bit challenging.

“Had so many of my local friends recommend this place. Cozy, older, friendly, hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I got take out on a rainy day and got the #11 + Thai iced tea (delicious and not crazy sweet). Price is very good & the broth!! The broth was so comforting, aromatic, with a touch of sweetness. I always take note of pho restaurant’s chili oil sate and this one’s had a really good kick! Will definitely be back!“

“Really enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was welcoming. It was a busy Friday evening, so there was a bit of a rush, but that's completely understandable. The server appeared to be handling the dining room on her own and did an impressive job keeping up with everyone. Prices very fair. The Vietnamese coffee was traditional slow drip and delicious. Ordered the banh mi sandwich and it was also a star... The bread was fresh baked, and had the perfect texture and softness on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the crust. Definitely recommended.“

“This is a good restaurant. The staff was very accommodating for a large group with multiple kids. They have a robot that will drive around with appetizers on it if you order them. Food was relatively well priced and ultimately if you want to I think this is a pretty good spot.“

Must try their oxtail pho! Oxtail has a lot meat and pcs. So far I have not had highblood when I finish my oxtail pho which is good that’s why I keep coming back. I know that when I finish my bowl I won’t have any problems (but that’s my experience). Pho Time is my go to for oxtail pho, bun bu hue, and pho in general.

“Amazing Vietnamese food truck with an extensive menu!

I came across this food truck the other night with a hankering for Pho. As I approached, I could see a huge photo collage of most of the dishes served. A very nice woman at the counter took my order, of which I went for the Oxtail Pho and a Pineapple Sugar Cane drink.

After paying, I went to pick a table. Within 8 minutes the food arrived at the table and it smelled wonderful. First off, I’ve never had oxtail pho before… love oxtail, love pho, so perfect combo! The broth was delicious and the pho was fantastic! The only thing I’d say is that the portion was a bit small for Hawaiian and Vietnamese standards.

As for the ambiance, it’s very casual with a street food scene vibe that I was digging! There’s ample parking as well.

Next time I’d like to try the pork rice plate and the snails. If you’ve got a craving for Vietnamese food, this spot is worth trying!“

The food here has great flavor and definitely does not feel like something that was rushed, but actually made with care for the presentation and flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and clean.
