“Last night's Waikiki Block Party was packed and I ordered from this restaurant: lemongrass fried chicken and pad Thai (combo B) and the food was amazing! The lemongrass fried chicken was cooked to perfection; crispy, light batter, and juicy. The pad Thai was not dry an clumpy like other food stalls, but it was a little cold from being out. Otherwise, a very good takeout meal. I can only imagine what the restaurant experience is like.“

“I only come here for the Pho. The broth is not salty but savory. That's good because other Pho restaurants have you drinking 5 cups of water afterwards. portion size is mid with a few slices of meat and couple meatballs. The portion size will not satisfy a normal adult. I can't say that it's worth it to drop $18 and not be full. It is enough to satisfy the taste buds though.“

“Wow…we loved our meals. We stopped here by quickly on our way from Waikiki to the airport, and easily found street parking. The vermicelli bowls with lemongrass chicken & tofu (and a banh mi with pork + chicken) were so fresh, so filling, and really high quality. Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was kind, as well. Highly recommend for a relaxed & high quality meal!!“

“Very generous portion for the price. Pho soup came piping hot. The noodle was cooked perfectly al dente. The broth was not overly oily, great taste. Beef balls had great texture, not too soft not too chewy. Hu tieu was delicious with the fried garlic in the broth. Would definitely come back to try other menu!“

This local favorite spot for Vietnamese food is made with high quality ingredients and sends you home not just with the lovely flavors lingering but a sense of wellbeing. Nothing really warms you like a good pho some days; they take no shortcuts with the home made broth which as you know if you ever thought “oh I’ll just make that at home,” takes *all* *day* to make pho broth. )Some places, not naming names, take some easy shortcuts on the broth. “Happy chefs is an awesome new establishment in Wahiawa that serves cool drinks. The drinks they serve are Vietnamese coffees, boba teas, different flavor matcha teas. We came just for a quick coffee and ordered the salted coffee. The menu is Vietnamese forward with lunch plates, pho, and banh mis. The prices are great as well. Will be coming back to try the food. I might add that the location on maps is off so it’s closer to the freeway on the corner of Ohai and Kamehemeha.“

“This is a good restaurant. The staff was very accommodating for a large group with multiple kids. They have a robot that will drive around with appetizers on it if you order them. Food was relatively well priced and ultimately if you want to I think this is a pretty good spot.“

I got take out on a rainy day and got the #11 + Thai iced tea (delicious and not crazy sweet). Price is very good & the broth!! The broth was so comforting, aromatic, with a touch of sweetness. “This is my first visit at this Vietnamese Restaurant and I must say it was excellent. I went at around 0930, it was empty excep for two tables occupied. I was welcomed and greeted as i sat down. The dining area is clean, basic set up and minimal decor with a very low Vietnamese music coming out of the speakers. I can smell the aroma of deliciosness coming out of the kitchen. As i browse at the menu, I see that they offer Bun Bo Hue and Crab Meat Noodle soup which I wanted to try. But of course I went for my go to Pho Duc Biet, Combination Pho and the Spring Rolls and of course Iced Vietnamese Coffee.

The Large Combination Pho came out piping hot. The broth is clear, with enough fatty goodness and flavorful. A very well rounded broth, one of the best one in the island. Beefy and spices not overpowering at all and not too sweet. Very generous amount of meat toppings. The rice noodles are of perfect ratio to the broth and perfectly cooked. The herbs toppings are fresh and generous. I also love that they have chili oil available. The Spring Rolls was just okay. Smaller serving, and it tasted frozen and one was burn on one end. Next skip it and try something else. Minus 1 STAR.

Overall, food was authentic and great experience. Pho is the star of the show. One of the best I've had in Honolulu. I can wait to go back and try other dishes.“

“Great spot for quick healthy food! All the herbs in my spring roll were bright and fresh. The peanut sauce thay came with was delicious and not greasy or oily, just right!

I had a drink with my bao bun and it was a perfect pair! Great fresh custom bao stuffed with veggies and choice of protein.

I inhaled both of those dishes and didnt get pictures. I do have this tofu papaya salad in the fridge waiting for me, ill definitly be back!

“Food was very good. Fresh. Lots of bean sprouts, basil, Vietnamese lettuce. Had the summer (tofu) fresh rolls with peanut sauce and Pho Tai. Love Pho, I've eaten around the world including Vietnam and top Pho places in Toronto and this unassuming place was exceptional.“

The server appeared to be handling the dining room on her own and did an impressive job keeping up with everyone. “Was going to Pate , a banh mi place across the alley -- been going there a while and they are good and popular but always full of-- small space , often a wait at lunch or other. Happened upon this place and no line. Fantastic banh mi -- I got the crispy pork--great bread--some of the best I have had--, tasty pork with a sauce and lots of cilantro and other fillings. Be sure to check them out.“

Must try their oxtail pho! Oxtail has a lot meat and pcs. So far I have not had highblood when I finish my oxtail pho which is good that’s why I keep coming back. I know that when I finish my bowl I won’t have any problems (but that’s my experience). Pho Time is my go to for oxtail pho, bun bu hue, and pho in general.

“Love the shared seating area for the handful of food trucks, especially with the covered outdoor seating, which is a huge plus. The owner was phenomenal and actually brings the food to your table instead of yelling out a number like most places.

Big respect for serving the food on real porcelain/ceramic plates instead of cardboard boxes—it genuinely elevates the experience. Portion sizes are generous, so you won’t leave hungry.“

“I found this restaurant by chance. I was taking my son to a tuxedo fitting at Men's Warehouse right next door when I noticed this gem. The food here has great flavor and definitely does not feel like something that was rushed, but actually made with care for the presentation and flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and clean. We ordered the regular pho, Bun Bo Hue, and steamed lemongrass clams (thai chili). Again, great flavor, fresh garnished and would definitely recommend for anyone in the mood for some great Vietnamese cuisine!“

“Absolutely incredible food. I got Combo #2 (Beef Pho, Spring Rolls, and Thai Tea), and I loved everything. The pho broth is so flavorful and they give a generous serving. The spring rolls come out hot and crispy. And the thai tea was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. Super small restaurant with limited seating, but service was super quick. This is the best vietnamese food I’ve had on island. Highly recommend!“
