“Most of us had a good meal last night however one hamburger was very overcooked. When the manager came by and we told him about it, he put it back on us for not ordering it correctly. The server never asked how we wanted it prepared so apparently if you don’t specify they will automatically cook it well done. I think this should be a question the servers ask rather than a customer remembering to state that.”

“Had veal chops with mashed potatoes. The fiance had lobster bisque and a chopped salad. All of which, TOP NOTCH. Only had coffee and water to drink. Only issue I had was with the texture of the mashed potatoes how ever that is a personal preference. The flavor was amazing. Veal remind me a lot of chicken fried steak with brown instead of pepper gravy. The lobster bisque was creamy and savory. The height of the visit was the house made tomato jam. Should sell it by the jar.”

This is a great little watering hole with a lot of history and some impressive taxidermy to look at while you guzzle down Busch light from an ice cream sunday glass. “Attached to Kennedy Mall in Dubuque, Iowa. They are locally known for their custom designed burgers, along with shoe string french fries that kind of resemble McDonald's fries. I also like their large fish sandwich, nachos with cheese sauce, pork tenderloin sandwich & chicken wings. Drinks and soda are served in glass quart canning jars, which is unique and fun! Make sure to splurge and order their specialty drink called "The Cave In"! Service is always excellent! There is no pizza here, but that is okay. I recommend highly!”

Parking: Was fairly easy to get to and it was 7pm, so it wasn't rush hour, but I was pleased about the slick pick-up of "easy in/easy out".”

“The service here was amazing!. The lady who helped us was very kind and patient while we picked out our ice cream. Our 82 year old grandmother had never gone there before but now constantly says she we should go again! The flavors were spot on, and the serving sizes were generous. It's definitely a go-to spot if you have a sweet tooth.”

“After an already stressful day 2 hours into a 3.5 hour trip for upcoming doctor apts for our daughter. We stopped for dinner Andrew was extremely kind & helpful. We encountered 2 other employees who were also outstanding. I mentioned to one that my sandwich order was odd she replied hey you’re the one eating it, it should be how you want it. I Loved that outlook. The lettuce on my sandwich was very fresh probably one of the best fast food places we have encountered over our 6 years of traveling for medical appointments.”

“I visit this Starbucks just about every Friday morning. Everyone is pleasant and helpful, always willing to answer any questions I may have. However, I have to leave a specific "Well Done" and "Thank You" to Trey (sp?). A few weeks ago, he was more than helpful when I experienced a broken straw problem. Ever since then, he remembers me (with a big smile) and even remembers my specific drink. And THAT is great customer service!”

“My wife and I had a short trip to Dubuque last week and stayed at the Hotel Julien. We opted to treat ourselves to dinner at Caroline's our last night in town, and I'm so glad we did. I got the Scottish salmon filet with risotto and green beans, and my wife got the chicken and sausage penne. Now, let me tell you, the food was truly phenomenal. I'd give everything an all-around 9.8/10 - the only "issue" we had with anything was that the pasta was the slightest bit overcooked for our liking, but it wasn't enough to be a "send it back" problem. My salmon was perfectly cooked and moist, and the pesto on top was incredible, While the food was excellent, however, the real star of the night was our server Thomas. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu, was highly attentive without being pushy or annoying, and was just overall an extremely kind and seemed to genuinely care that our experience was the best it could be. Whomever at Caroline's PR team sees this, please make sure Thomas knows that it truly was his service that made our night so memorable and perfect!”
