“It’s everything you want from a Chinese place. I honestly don’t believe any review less than 5 stars. Our area is plagued by bad to mid at best Chinese food, and Moy Yuen is a shining star (5 stars!). Everything we order is always delish and cooked quickly. The phone order is efficient with no delays. Try orange chicken, general chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, and Singapore noodles. And don’t forget the egg roll. The place is no frills but consistently great above average Chinese food in the Western Suburbs.

“I've done take out and dining in here and the times I've went they work fast and can get you in and out of there pretty quickly. The restaurants always been clean and the music is nice since they have it on the quieter side, so it's just a bit of ambience to make it relaxing.

You can also order from the app and go in and pick it up if you need more time to decide. That's what I've done when I've had family in the car so we don't take up space in the line and everybody still gets stuff.“

“The appetizer was brought with the meal. 3 of our 4 entrees were served cold. We had reservations for 5:30, checked in at 4:00, went to the bar. Went back to the reception desk at5:30, waited 20 minutes for our table. The waitress was very inattentive. Disappointed!“

“From the minute we walked in everything was wonderful. Our server was friendly and beyond accommodating. As was the chef when we requested a dish not on the menu. The food was exceptional. The best Chinese food we’ve ever had in the suburbs. Definitely compares to Chinatown.“

“After going the first time I knew I'd be coming back. The staff is so kind and the service is remarkably quick. The food is unbelievably delicious. Favorites of ours are the soup dumplings, the green beans, and the scallion pancakes. We've also gotten the beef dumplings, fried rice, orange chicken, combo chow mein, crab rangoons, and pork buns - all of which were great. The dan dan noodles fell a little flat for us. I really liked the stir fried pancake but it's not for everyone. Both times I've gone with a small group (4-6 people) and it took a little time to get seated (<20 mins) but it was the dinner rush and their dining space is admittedly on the smaller side - maybe 6 tables with 20-25 seats total? Overall my friends and I love this place and will definitely be coming back again and again!“

“This is the second time we've ordered from here, and the food tastes great.
We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.
We also ordered EGG ROLLS, and they were delicious and a good size, but the CRAB RAGOONS were good, but a little over-fried.

“My husband and I have visited many buffets over the years, and this one truly stands out! 🤩 Everything we tried was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. 🍤🥩 There was an impressive variety of dishes, including seafood, different meats, fresh vegetables, and an amazing selection of desserts that satisfied every craving. 🍰🍨
The restaurant itself was exceptionally clean and well-organized. ✨ The tables, chairs, and condiment stations were spotless, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. “I find some of the low reviews here baffling. I think some people may be confusing this restaurant with other Chinese restaurants due to its rather non descript name. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. The lady was super sweet n helpful,helping me with my order..with my total order was 25.00 nothing compared to my other places..I was really happy that she recommended I try Veggie Egg Foo Yung,boy was I satisfied. Customer service,is one of these most hardest jobs you can never satisfy everybody.. We all have a bad day,you don't know whether that person's order was egg rolls or Rangoon in 15 mins.. “This was my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the dinner special with general tso’s chicken, and it was amazing!! I’m usually picky with chicken but this one was made so well, and the fried rice was perfect. I requested no egg in the fried rice and a vegetable egg roll, and they were so kind and considerate to not only honor my requests but label them too!! I was worried about this because not every place is careful enough, and it can ruin your whole meal when not done right but this place did. The food was delicious, piping hot (even though my DoorDash driver had to make multiple stops before mine!), and an amazing value for the amount of food you get. The Thai iced tea was the cherry on top! 10/10 thank you for a perfect comfort meal after a long day“

“The combination rice was very good, and the crab rangoons were also delicious. The Kung Pao chicken, however, lacked flavor and seasoning, and the chicken quality wasn’t the best. The egg rolls were a nice size, but they also needed more flavor. The guy at the front was super helpful and very sweet.“

“Dine in is wonderful, staff is great, tables are nice and ambience is good. We ordered the Happy family and the pho, 10/10 stars all around. I would totally recommend this place to eat out with friends and family, they accommodate you really well. Owners are very very nice and humble. I’ve ordered Togo a lot of times before and it’s always been quick and fresh. They have a bar with many many selections. This is a family owned business I think so I try to be patient. “Tried takeout from them for the first time yesterday and it’s REALLY good.

The BBQ pork Lo-Mein is incredible.

We’ve been looking for a new Chinese restaurant and it’s looking like Moon Temple is going to be our go to from now on.

The portions are a great value too.

They give you a lot of food for how much you pay for it.

And not to mention a lot of meat.

Like for once I didn’t have to order double meat/extra meat, what they give you is plenty.

“Been awhile since I ate here, maybe over 15 years ago? Ordered the combo egg foo young, beef broccoli and ma pow tofu w/ pork. All were very delicious. Only two dings is 1) why the $1.00 convenience fee 2) use less sodium in the egg foo young. Will definitely be back but get rid of the annoying convenience fee.“

Use to go to N-Joy, it closed permanently! Wok N Roll does fill their shoes & more! Their Wings are even better! Egg Foo Young too! Their veggies are so fresh, exceptionally nice, Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon also very good.. They're clean, very helpful / friendly, fast service...
They got coupons for free food, cash or credit, there's some seating for a small space so it's mostly take out, which is convenient... Definitely Express & a delightful surprise... Xie xie

“Wifey & I were having a couple brews down the road with friends when they’d mentioned they ate Chinese the night before so I got a craving for it! The closest Chinese restaurant was Jade Garden so I placed an order for chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, veggie lo mein, & 2 egg rolls. The order came with a side of white rice too. It was sooo much food; I had 2 plates worth to get my fill while my wife had 1. The next 2 days I ate leftovers for breakfast; I also passed along some food for my mom to try when I went to visit her. There was still enough remaining after all that for my wife to have a hearty lunch! Including tax it was $39ish which I felt was reasonable considering the sheer amount of food we received. Would very happily order from here again!“

“I have gone here for decades. I was a little for when I first came here, and now I am middle aged. The owner ran outside to my van to see my kids and my husband because she remembers us as 19/20 year olds dating. She serves the best crab Rangoon and told us told us to order from the party trays to make sure our kids are fed. Very lovely lady and great food.“

“Got take out, hot and sour soup was not like other hot and sour soups I've gotten - this one had a thicker and whiter broth than I've seen before, and pieces of chicken in it; no veggies or tofu, just mushrooms and chicken. But it tasted good and not oily or clumpy. Chicken lo mein was also good - the small portion is actually quite large, with large pieces of chicken that didn't seem overly processed. Everything was hot and fresh when I picked up, and not overly greasy (I believe the menu says no MSG also). The prices were rather high compared to other strip mall Chinese food, but portions are large. The dining area wasn't the cleanest, probably wouldn't eat in, but the kitchen seemed clean to me and no hair or anything in the food. I would go back to try some other dishes.“

“The owner, I believe his name is Michael, is young but VERY sharp and most importantly, he is respectful and kind. This is important in any service industry and many people much older than Michael lack being respectful and could learn a thing or two from this young man. The food is excellent. Egg Rolls were very fresh and tasty. Crab Rangoon were also fresh and very good as well. I ordered Mongolian Beef, and it was plentiful and tender. The white rice was not clumpy, well cooked, and delicious. My wife ordered shrimp fried rice and it was also delicious. Again, everything was excellent. The place is very unassuming, somewhat small, but the service was impeccable and so was the food. I hope and pray that the owner never loses his charm. Today's young generation in this country are frankly not respectful and many lack intelligence. The owner of Overseas Chinese Restaurant is way beyond his years, and he makes the restaurant worth visiting on top of having very good food.

Actually everything was above our expectation and consistently
The one dish however not served is salt and pepper fish- a favorite of ours
However all other dishes are superb
