“I’ve been searching for a great place for sushi and I’ve finally found it at Tekka! The sushi is outstanding here and very fresh! The menu has a long list of options for all! The staff is quick to serve you and is very friendly and knowledgeable! The entire place is immaculate and tastefully decorated! And the smell of seared tuna and scallops fills the air making way to a pleasant and inviting atmosphere! Well done!“

“We visited with a large party for a friend’s birthday, so there was a bit of a wait before we were able to get our food order in, but overall the experience was positive. I don’t usually like sushi, so I ordered the yaki udon, which was good, and it came with a miso soup that I really enjoyed; though I do wish the udon portion had been a bit larger.

My partner ordered the Mango Tango roll and chicken tempura sushi and really liked both. The sushi was good overall, and the presentation was pretty, even if it was served on fairly basic plates. We also tried the chicken karaage, which had good flavor but could have been a little juicier.

To top it off, since we were celebrating a birthday, the staff brought out a free dessert for the table, which was a really nice touch. Overall, it’s a solid local all-you-can-eat sushi spot and a good option, especially for group dining.“

“This place was AMAZING! The food, service, and atmosphere was all 10/10. First off, the owners were incredibly kind and helped us and checked in with us. Also the food was so delicious. Immaculate tempura and generally have your order ready quick and fresh.

I got the Edomar Tempura plate and loved it.
I especially love how when you get the plate they include the grated daikon in your tentsuyu! The only place in the US I've seen even include it.

“If you like chocolate then this is definitely a place worth visiting. There is an interwebs video thingy about how they make the chocolate which inspired us to visit. The chocolate is more european in style, and also not too sweet. I loved it and also exploring the japanese market nearby. A fun afternoon!“

“This continues to be my favorite place in the food court. The food is always fresh. You can't go wrong with what you get. The curry is the best one out of all the places in the food court. The Udon noodles are always perfectly cooked. They offer fresh tempura flakes, green onion, ginger, sauces, and seasonings on the side as well. Highly recommend trying! Staff are always kind and efficient.“

The bento came with miso soup, fresh salad, delicious gyoza, tempura that was light and crispy, and a few California rolls that rounded out the meal beautifully. Great presentation and flavor. “Ramen noodle restaurant in fashion outlet mall of Chicago. Food was ok. I asked for spicy and it was truly spicy. Egg was not fully cooked. Service was decent and fast. Prices were high, maybe because it's the fancy mall, but I think it is overpriced compared to the food. Food court was noisy.“

“They had yakitori, which I tried. I ordered the chicken thigh, pork belly, and sausage. Everything is cooked to perfection and smells good from the charcoal fire. The pork belly is my favorite because of the fat, the meat was crispy and tender. I ordered the karaage don (mayo & poached egg) as my main course. I believe the teriyaki sauce was overdone. As a result, the chicken lost its crunch.“

“Curry has good flavor. Yakisoba has good flavor, but mixing the two in the same dish was too much. The yakisoba also comes with thinly sliced pork mixed in so it's not vegetarian. The karage chicken had good crunch and was soft on the inside but seemed over priced for the quantity given. There's a good variety of side sauces that you can put in to go cups yourself at the counter. The wasabi soy sauce was the best. There's a long wait time.“

My food was hot with decent portions, and the lemonade tasted freshly-made and tart. I think she may have used pure ingredients as I watched her make a pitcher at the bar area. I also liked the music which surprised me- 90's R&B slow jams. Super chill and quiet atmosphere here with interesting and unique decor throughout.“
