“Did the karaoke party - - family style food first then karaoke. The crab rangoon is very good as well as the garlic green beans. The orange chicken head very orange-y. Also came with vegetable egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, sushi, dumplings. I thought the rest of the food was just ok but I'd be willing to go back to try food specifically that I prefer and could order. It's byob but he supplies ice and there is liquor on site. I've eaten tamales most of my life and I brought some for my grandma who came to Chicago from Mexico and she absolutely loved them she has been eating them for 70 plus years and for her to provide her stamp of approval means a lot. “best sushi in the chicagoland area for me! this little stall inside Hmart Niles’ food court is such a hidden gem. my husband and i actually come here once a week now, it’s officially become our comfort-food spot. i’m not a raw-sushi person at all, but they have amazing cooked options. i'm obsessed with the salmon yaki roll. seriously, it’s that good, always fresh and consistent.

we chatted with the owner once, and he told us he even makes the wasabi from scratch. the wasabi alone deserves an award, so flavorful, not the harsh store-bought kind. the owner is almost always there, making the sushi himself and running things with such a friendly vibe. he truly deserves recognition. this is literally the only sushi my stomach can tolerate, so that says a lot.

and it’s not just the sushi. their entrées are unforgettable too. my husband swears by the chicken katsu: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the portion/price is super fair.

“Not recommended if gluten-free but this place is tasty and the owners are lovely. I eat gluten-free presently, and the menu has land mines. The pancake that's included has wheat. Some of the noodle dishes have egg/wheat noodles, so be careful with those as well.“

One thing I noticed is that the toppings can be a little inconsistent at times. Some pizzas seem to have more meat and less cheese, while others have more cheese and less meat. The curry and the curry fried rice were out of this world. Perfectly seasoned and exploding with flavor, the meat was delicious as were the veggies. The mango mousse pie was incredible so light and fluffy and a melt in your mouth with the perfect crust. Im not from around here but I will definitely make it a point to come back here the next time I’m in town. Good prices too especially for the quality and amount of food you get.“
