“I just got off the phone with Migele from the Evergreen Park store and had some issues with my order. I'm severely handicapped and asked for curbside pickup, and also a change to the order. Migele was very accommodating and did a great professional job. And my sister said that the pizza was very good. Thanks again Miguel ?“

“We were a party of 6 people, tried the black croquettes, corn Madeleine, the vegetables , the fried chicken and the salt. Everything was delicious. Cocktails were very good too. The service was a bit long but at the same time, it is pleasant to not be rushed in a restaurant and to have time to eat your plates without anyone asking you every 5 min if you were done.I will definitely be back“

“I love this place! The chicken Marsala is incredible! We also had eggplant roll acting as an appetizer, linguine with clams,gnocchi and manicotti! All great and we all have dinner for tomorrow! Service is great and always like talking to the owner, who makes you feel like you are his personal guests! Only suggestion for improvement is to assign the waitstaff to one area! This happened last time too. The servers are running all over! Be a little kinder to them. They work so hard!“

The breading on the shrimp was the absolute best ever! It was an interesting wine selection as well so you will have options. “My wife and I have never been to a Michelin star restaurant and now that we live in Chicago, we had plenty of options. For our second baby moon we decided to treat ourselves to an experience at El Ideas. The whole experience was amazing! The location is really unassuming and not in some pretentious building or area. It was such a laid back yet exquisite experience. Guests were allowed to wonder the space and take in the food preparation. You could ask questions of the chefs. It was really neat and nothing like I've ever experienced. Since there are a limited number of reservations the entire staff is really attune to guests needs. I have no complaints about any of the dishes. Some of the standout dishes were the shrimp dish which was an ode to the history of Chicago fried shrimp. The Swedish style meatball cooked in smoked beef tallow with gnocchi was so well balanced. The smoked duck bahn mi and smoke duck pho was amazing . The Lamb dish was out of this world! I'm still in awe of the vanilla shake and fries dessert. It was truly a work of art. The vanilla with the crunchy potato bits and potato and leak soup just worked. I could take one of those every day. This experience is definitely worth it! I hope to be back in the future!“

“Alulu is great, they have two floor levels, and an outdoor patio. They have a lot of themed nights like chess night, video game night, etc. They have daily food specials and a solid happy hour. They brew different types of beer and have solid cocktails too! It's also really friendly, everyone who works here is awesome and their patio is dog friendly.“

“Nice local spot with affordable prices ! Small cozy place . So best to get there a little early so you don’t have to wait for a seat . My service was fast and attentive. All the workers are really friendly . I got the Greek French Toast with whip cream . I recommend the Hash Browns . The other dish I shared was the Hobo Skillet . I really enjoyed the cut up potato’s in the dish . Going to come back for lunch next time to try the Sloppy Joe’s . This is a cash only place and they only stay open till 2pm .“

“Oh my gosh!! This is the most amazing place ever. We had fantastic service, fantastic food and such a wonderful time. The food just goes beyond words. I can’t even describe how delicious it is. If you want to have an incredible dining experience, you need to stop in. Our waiter was Don and he did an absolutely perfect job. The hostess greeted us immediately with a pleasant smile and a very polite and professional attitude. “Ordered a small thin crust from uber eats juss being lazy & not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza sauce is very tasty, wish I had ordered it on the side for dipping my pizza in. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“

Lunch time menu doesn't have a lot of options but the choice were definitely good ones! I went with the chicken tips! When I tell you this was the best bbq I've ever tasted! The chicken was seasoned so good! Some places put all the flavor into the sauce and forget to season the meat but not the Woodlawn! I was truly impressed! “Placed an order for Thanksgiving wanted the chocolate chip cheese cake ended up with plain pancakes for dessert. Called the lady said they were out of cheese cake. The more I questioned her .she then said I could come pick up the chocolate chip cheese cake. I explained I had no transportation and then she said yes again they had the cheese cake but I had to pick it up. So I said thanks no transportation so good bye.“

“The Food was great except for the Salmon Strips (they were too fishy) and for $14.00 for asparagus, we definitely thought we were getting more than 6 asparagus on our plate. The menu prices were a little steep and the bartender made our Long Island Iced Tea too sweet with almost little to no alcohol. Our waitress Amber was fantastic and very friendly. The environment was great with the live entertainment. We felt for the $5.07 entertainment fee that was added to our bill was robbery because the young lady butchered a lot of the songs and made the experience a little more uncomfortable. Great place but definitely need to adjust their prices a little lower and make sure the entertainment is actually worth adding to our bills or make it optional.“
