“We held an 80 person event here and the coordinator Caryn was detailed, communicative and so nice! The waitstaff and bartenders, the food runners, and managers all helped to run a smooth luncheon, the busboy was attentive and kind! “What a great meal and dining experience. This is the restaurant we’ve been looking for and will continue to support. Scallops DeJohnge appetizer & Baked French onion soup were delicious. The salad was fresh and crisp. Dinner entrees prime rib which was perfectly cooked. Ribs were another hit. Loved the carrots!! We didn’t have room for dessert but look forward the the rice pudding next time. We arrived at 5pm and seated immediately by the time we left the tables were full. Service was outstanding from begging to end.“

“We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were loaded with delicious perfectly cooked shrimp and the accompanying sauce (sweet chili with garlic and cilantro) plays nicely with them. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was as delicious as it looks. It was generously portioned and beautifully plated. We also enjoyed the mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta. My husband is Sicilian and it reminded us of the pasta con le sarde that we love to have in Sicily. The mussels were plump and delicious. The wine list is very nice. We found wines we really enjoyed and they were reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy ‘22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag, Riesling, Germany ‘21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. Service was perfect.“

“Had dinner last night. We had an excellent server named Carly. She was extremely friendly and answered our questions. She came back to the table several times to check on us.
It was refreshing to dine out and be treated so nicely.
We also chatted with Patrick the manager who we talked with each time we have been to FatPour and he is an absolute sweetheart too.
All in all good experience and we will return!

“My flight got canceled so it was the end of a long day when I finally made it to the Hilton Garden Inn, but the service at the hotel was great and the Cobb salad at the restaurant tasted like I had just picked everything fresh from the garden. Definitely stay here again!“

“Love both locations I've visited: Lakeview and Wicker Park. Do wish they'd bring back the grilled cheese with ham and bacon. Only problem I've had is the extremely loud music. I visit at least once a month, and the music is always too loud to have a conversation. Stopped meeting up with friends because we can't hear each other.“

“Absolutely phenomenal, couldn’t speak highly enough of this. My wife had the main menu with the spirt free drinks while I had the vegetarian options with wine pairing and everything was great. Left after ~2.5ish hours absolutely stuffed with a great memory. Very innovative and creative food, warm inviting atmosphere in an intimate setting. Expensive, but worth it!“

“We went at Christmas time. They decorate the restaurant from the ceiling to the floor in lights. You can't help but get in the festive mood. We did make reservations and we came earlier and they still sat us. The staff was very friendly. I started with a cocktail called the Ramblers Rest. It was tasty. I could really taste the pomegranate notes. For appetizers we got the poutine. It is okay. For dinner I got the chef's wedge salad it was delicious. The homemade ranch dressing and the bacon bits totally made the salad. My hubby got their shepherd's pie. He said it was great. They have Coke products. They have a private area, and plenty of seating options. They have two fire places. I definitely want to go back during the summer. It looks like they have a large patio. Oh and they have a no stroller rule in the restaurant.

For mains, we had the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and the BMG flatbread, which had the perfect balance of crispy crust and flavorful toppings. “2nd smallest bathroom ive been in , the tolier paper was 1in big , super weird beer selections , super small menu, all greasy foods BUT we saw hunter root here super chill set plenty of dancing room , chairs and hangers against wall is a fabalous idea. sounds was great, staff was kind , tickets were cheap and parking was okay , all i could find was pay by the hour parking , close by at least ! would go back“

“Dishes were creative and unique, had amazing flavor profiles. I absolutely love the lamb carpaccio, never had raw lamb before, it was cured well and paired with gooseberries that popped in the mouth and cut through the greasiness. Mussels were also mind blowing with the taste and creativity. Everything was fantastic until the blue prawns get in the way, they were still kinda raw I know that’s how some places do it but I felt uncomfortable eating raw shrimps, and desserts were subpar. However overall it’s amazing and definitely worth going back for new menu rotations“

“First time eating at Greenwood. The food was very good. We ordered calamari, which tasted unique in a good way, with the chopped marinated veggies. The beef filet was melt in your mouth tender. The only complaint is it was too salty. Brussels sprouts were also delicious.

The old fashion and manhattan were well made. It was a nice touch that the waiter asked us what bourbon or whiskey we wanted them made with.

We reserved in the dining room and the hostess could not find our reservation. We offered to show it to her, and she said no need , then put us at the very corner of the patio which was noisy, with uncomfortable chairs. For the first 15 min there was no one on the patio of in the restaurant. We couldn’t hear each other over the street traffic.

“"What a charming and cozy neighborhood breakfast spot! We had the large three-stack pancakes, which came topped with fresh strawberries, as well as eggs with corned beef hash. We also ordered ham and eggs, both of which came with a generous serving of potatoes, bell peppers, and onions. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The portions were so big that we even had leftovers to take home. The total came to just under $50, which was more than reasonable. We'll definitely be back. We really loved this place!"
