“Beef fried rice on par with New York level, for most garbage place that can't get anything right in Chicago this place excel at listening to orders to the tee. I'd recommend beef riced rice and pops. My experience has been most pleasant with the only two items I order. Good job keep it up don't lower your standards. I'm not getting robbed of meat to rice ratio a plus.“

The textural contrast between the shatteringly crispy wonton sheet and the soft, chewy crepe was downright addictive. Every bite was flavorful: smoky, savory, slightly sweet, a little spicy, and wildly satisfying. It's the comfort of street food in one messy, glorious handful.“

Will com back for the dumplings, eggplant salad and doushabing! 4 star for the food because the plum juice was not sour enough comparing to the ones I had growing up, the xi’an bing was okay, very lamby for those who don’t like lamb-I would stay away from that until they improve/change how they make them. Dandan noodle had an interesting taste which did not have enough flavor for me. Overall a great experience!“

“Taco Verde is hands down one of our favorite spots for amazing halal tacos! The quality and flavor are consistently outstanding. We absolutely love their Birria Tacos — perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with rich, authentic flavor.

Their Birria Pizza Tacos are a must-try as well. Such a creative twist, loaded with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every bite is satisfying.

What really makes the experience even better is their hospitality. The staff is incredibly welcoming and always happy to provide extra consume upon request without hesitation. Great service, incredible taste, and a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend Taco Verde!“

“Did the karaoke party - - family style food first then karaoke. The crab rangoon is very good as well as the garlic green beans. The orange chicken head very orange-y. Also came with vegetable egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, sushi, dumplings. I thought the rest of the food was just ok but I'd be willing to go back to try food specifically that I prefer and could order. It's byob but he supplies ice and there is liquor on site. Jimmy creates such a lively, fun vibe!!! Definitely an experience!“

“My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. The Kung Pao Chicken is one of my favorites along with their Pork Fried Rice, but I have enjoyed many of their dishes - BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers, Beef Chop Suey on crispy chow mein noodles - all delicious. The servings are large - plenty to share or take home for tomorrow's lunch. All the staff are friendly and efficient, and you can eat in, pickup or order delivery. Try House of Wah Sun; you won't be disappointed.“

“Unpopular but should be popular opinion, Peking Mandarin is the best restaurant in Chicago. I’ve been ordering by takeout from here for the last 8 years and I finally dined in. In the past yrs started eating better... So clean and fresh tastes are important... At first was a bit iffy per the size of the wings... Other than that I do have to say they're sweet and sour chicken is probably the best around. They're fried rice is also delicious. Don't be fooled by all the other highly rated chinese spots because not all live up to the hype but this is a hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop shop that's dishing out great food!

Never been disappointed with an order the quality of the food is outstanding the service is always very friendly and I always get parking in the small parking lot it's easy to find on the corner Irving in California next to Horner Park in a 7-Eleven parking lot. It's my go-to place for not outrageously priced Chinese food. Recommended the specials.“

“A literal hole in the wall, but a hidden gem. I’ve been ordering from here since 2010 and the food has always been delicious. The portions sizes are big enough for two people even if you order a small size. The lady at the window is always kind and happy to help. I definitely recommend ordering from here!“

“LOVE this place and low-key consider it a hidden gem. Prices are so reasonable, even after having gone up in January - lunch special is $8. Portions have shrunk some (that's to be expected when prices go up) but it's still enough food to fill you up. Occasionally they'll get something small wrong (fried rice when I asked for white), but everything I've ordered from here is tasty, which is what not only keeps me coming back, but keeps me telling my coworkers about this place.“

“This restaurant offers flavorful and delicious Cantonese style food with reasonable prices. I have to say that this restaurant blows away many of the restaurants in the main Chinatown area. It's a bit farther away but it's well worth it. Plus you don't have to fight the congestive traffic and finding a parking space in Chinatown. All 5 dishes taste fresh and very delicious. We did instruct the kitchen not to put too much salt and the food is perfect. Highly recommend. This is a must try restaurant, period!“

“Authentic Chinese cuisine, orders for takeout is fast & accurate. The food is tasty. But stick to Chinese food selection. I made a mistake ordering pad Thai shrimp and it didn’t taste good. The shrimp is good but not the pad Thai noodles and sauce that goes with it.“

“I find some of the low reviews here baffling. I think some people may be confusing this restaurant with other Chinese restaurants due to its rather non descript name. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. “Kind of expensive. Cabbage with a few drops of bacon $16.. two small spicy hotpot fish didn't taste so fresh sliced into 4 filets $50. Overall atmosphere is good and clean and plates are brought out by robots first before the server put them on the table. Overall probably would go back again but not ordering those two items.“
