“I've dined here multiple times within the past two years and not only is the food extremely delicious but the staff here is upbeat, friendly and always delivers a five star attentive service to whomever dines in here.

You simply walk up to a computer screen where you can choose from a list of soup, appetizers, main courses like bimbap, bulgogi beef, scallion pancakes and other traditional Korean dishes.

I usually order a simple soup that's extra spicy with assorted vegetables, rice cakes and an egg. You can add extra vegetables, cheese or an extra egg to your order too.

The chefs were quite busy this evening with tons of pick up take out orders but I personally prefer dining in here and you also get an opportunity to watch the chefs cooking in the kitchen.

This evening one of the chefs pointed out assorted delicious sides at the counter that I had never noticed before. Basically you can help yourself to as many sides as you'd like before your meal arrives and they were extremely tasty.

“First and foremost, the staff is hands down the best! Literally the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered! And I’ve tried a few things on the menu and nothing has been a let down. Usually I regret straying from “the usual” but I never do here. The crab rangoon is the best I’ve ever had, the wings surprised me with how tasty and well cooked they were, the basil chicken egg rolls were bomb (so is the basil chicken over rice), and the Khao Soi is a best seller for a reason!“

“Suffron Cafe is a great option for tasty Mediterranean food in Chicago. The place doesn’t have much seating inside, but they’ve added a couple of tables outside, which definitely helps when the weather allows it.

We sat outside and had the gyro plate, beef kabob plate, and dolmas (stuffed grape leaves). Both plates came with generous portions, and everything was very tasty. The meat was flavorful, and the rice, hummus and salad made for a very filling meal. The dolmas were also a nice addition to share.

Even though we ordered at the counter, the food was brought out to our table. Good food, generous portions and friendly service. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for Mediterranean food in the area.“

“I was in the neighborhood and made it just in time for their lunch special, between 11-1pm. I had the cashew chicken with a spring roll to start, and a Thai Ice tea. The server asked how spicy I wanted it and gave a choice between 1-5, I chose 4, but when it came out they had forgotten to add it, so he quickly took it back to add it. It was a chopped up Thai chili and the dish was delicious and fresh tasting. Can't wait to go back and try a different dish.“

“This little shop is the perfect addition to west town! It’s very modern but cozy inside with a 4-5 tables. I’ve been a few times for both dine in and takeout. The staff is super friendly with great suggestions and happy to make modifications. In the morning I’ll get a banana fosters latte but half sweet which is just perfect. It’s got a lovely banana cinnamon mix. For lunch I’ll get the shawarma salad with chicken, the rice in a nice touch that makes this feel more like a meal than just a salad. “This is by far our favorite Korean restaurant in the Chicagoland area. We drive about 40 minutes to eat here because the food is authentic, delicious, and affordable! It's owned by a Korean husband/wife team. It's not fancy, but I feel at home everytime. I highly recommend it!!“

“We had an absolutely amazing experience, and Victor truly made our evening exceptional. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly attentive, intuitive, professional, and genuinely made us feel taken care of throughout the entire meal.

Victor made sure everything we ordered was exactly right and that our food was amazing. He checked in at the perfect times, paid attention to every detail, and made sure we were happy with everything without ever making us feel rushed. His service was warm, polished, and very natural.

You can tell Victor genuinely cares about the people he serves and about giving them a great experience. His attention to detail and the way he took care of us really stood out and made our dinner memorable.

There is such a beautiful backstory as to how her business came about. We tried the fusions and our favs were Da beef (this is an Italian beef inspired tamale), Tropicante Bustamante (this is a Jerk sauced inspired tamale) we also loved the classics Green Guadalupe and the Angel Amy. There are vegan options. We tried the strawberry and coconut Italian ice both were amazing and made from scratch.“

“My friend and I dropped into this Korean restaurant on the weekend, and we had no trouble getting seating. We were served pretty quickly, and I ordered a Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot. It came with a side of rice, and there were also those clear noodles in the soup itself. It came out on one of those heated bowls, so the broth stayed hot for quite a while. The flavor was amazing, with the beef, some tofu, and other ingredients blending really well.“
