“This place reminds me of the old Chinatown before COVID and the reason I used to go to Chinatown. It's, affordable with good portions, it has that older Chinese restaurant feel to it, yet clean, and the service is good with a fast waitress who has a good memory and doesn't need a notepad. Service is fast and the food is fresh and hot served with tea. Free parking close by. Highly recommend you check it out and if you like your food a bit spicy, ask for it and it will make a huge difference.“

“We ordered the dinner special last night. This includes an entree, fried rice and an egg roll. I got the shrimp kow, and my husband got mushroom egg foo young. The shrimp kow contained a generous amount of large shrimp and an assortment of veggies in a white sauce, which was highly seasoned. Bok choy, mushrooms,broccoli, peapods, water chestnuts,celery and adorably thinly sliced carrots. I loved it! My husband must have enjoyed the egg foo young...it's all gone! The dinner came in a black takeout container that was divided into two sections.Very nice. The shrimp egg rolls were huge and rolled very fancy! All the food was piping hot and ready for pick up in 15 minutes! The service when ordering and picking up was very courteous and accommodating. Prices were very reasonable!

“This is my favorite place for Chinese I've tried a lot of Chinese restaurants and this one is really good considering Chinese is my favorite food. The prices are reasonabe to. I like the fact that there's not a lot of salt in the food.

Parking: It's a small parking lot but no cars are never in the spaces so easy to run get your food and go. They don't have chairs and tables that's the only thing that's bad cuz I like to sit down once in a while“

We’ve been getting takeout from here for 20 years and have dined in many times, and were curious what the newly reopened restaurant would be like. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised - we got a few of the same dishes we’ve ordered for years, as well as a couple new ones to test it out. The quality of the meat and seafood is on another level now; the batter on the chicken is fresh and crispy; giant, meaty shrimp made the fried rice even better; and the Mongolian beef was tender (not spongy or fatty) and the sauce was caramelized perfectly. The crab Rangoon were lighter and had a noticeably more authentic crab flavor, and were delighted that our favorite egg rolls seem to have stayed exactly the same! We also tried the new mango sago snow ice which we will definitely get again — a really light and not too seeet way to finish the meal. I ordered the sesame chicken combo with vegetable rice. Other places serve a shrimp fried rice browned that looks like it was cooked with just soy sauce and a scattering of shrimp, or (in the case of vegetable rice) a few bits of vegetable rice I would swear was frozen. Here, the rice on the shrimp fried rice looks alive and fresh with a nice balance of tasty shrimp. There is always a generous helping of fresh steamed broccoli. The vegetable rice is excellent, and there are plenty of diverse fresh vegetables. Their tasty egg rolls are smartly done with a plethora of fresh ingredients in a crispy shell. While the seating area is not a place to take your date, the quality of the food and the speed of the service is top notch. Note: The food is a SWEET AMERICAN version of Mandarin Chinese.“

“The owner, I believe his name is Michael, is young but VERY sharp and most importantly, he is respectful and kind. This is important in any service industry and many people much older than Michael lack being respectful and could learn a thing or two from this young man. The food is excellent. Egg Rolls were very fresh and tasty. Crab Rangoon were also fresh and very good as well. I ordered Mongolian Beef, and it was plentiful and tender. The white rice was not clumpy, well cooked, and delicious. My wife ordered shrimp fried rice and it was also delicious. Again, everything was excellent. The place is very unassuming, somewhat small, but the service was impeccable and so was the food. I hope and pray that the owner never loses his charm. Today's young generation in this country are frankly not respectful and many lack intelligence. The owner of Overseas Chinese Restaurant is way beyond his years, and he makes the restaurant worth visiting on top of having very good food.

“I find some of the low reviews here baffling. I think some people may be confusing this restaurant with other Chinese restaurants due to its rather non descript name. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant.
