Parking: The parking lot is a little difficult to navigate. BUT if you can read signs and follow arrows it is a one way but small so you just need to make a little circle around the building ?“

“The Tala in Libertyville is also where Tala roasts its coffee. It's a cute little spot. The coffee is always delicious and high quality. I like that this location has muffins in addition to donuts. The zucchini chocolate chip muffins are amazing. The staff is friendly.“

The empanada was still frozen when they served it to me but the server was so kind and gentle and immediately gave me another one that was well cooked and didn’t charge me for the wait and inconvenience. “We stopped by Conscious Cup while on a long roadtrip from Minnesota to a Chicago suburb to visit family. This coffee shop was so welcoming, with friendly, speedy service, and delicious food and coffee. I ordered tofu breakfast tacos and a decaf iced latte — and both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for working, sitting and chatting, or in our case, spending quality time with family. I recommend a visit!“

“I let the young lady at the window know that I'm a diabetic and wanted a cold coffee. She put together a coffee instantly that I was able to drink and it was absolutely delicious. Only thing off was that I have to prepare my own iced coffee so I didn’t try it :( lol they have the milk options, syrups and sugar ready for you up front to prepare it however there was too many people and I decided not to try it. “Went to a different location today as I was traveling a different route. Bagel was delicious (multi grain), my iced coffee was very strong, had them add more milk. The place is very dark compared to other locations, needs brightening up! Service was excellent, would go back.“

“My 4 year old son loved it here!!! He was so proud to have designed a donut (which was actually just the cookies and cream option from the menu) but he watched them make it and decorate it and then showed it to everyone he passed. He said they were the BEST donuts he’s ever had! I had the cold brew with sweet cream which was solid.“

“Delicious boba tea! I had the Coconut milk tea with boba and my husband had the mango fruit with boba. This was our first time here! It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! We will definitely come back when we visit this area again!“

“I had gone through a different Starbucks and requested the medicine tea of which they just gave me a plain tea mint one. So I stopped at this Starbucks and requested the medicine tea and explained what it happened and they actually gave it to me for free wasn’t there store that made a mistake. “When this location first opened it took over 20 minutes to get a drink and then it was made wrong. I was the only person there so it wasn't a long line issue. I have been there more recently and they are up to speed, making drinks correctly, the interior is always clean and organized, staff is friendly.“

“I purchased a refresher at the North Chicago location, however the barista explained that he ran out of an ingredient while handing over my drink. I placed the drink inside the cup holder and began to drive. I decided to stop by the Starbucks at the Zion location to pay for the missing ingredient that the Starbucks at the North Chicago location ran out of. I explained the whole situation at the drive-thru and showed them the digital receipt on the app. To make the story short, the baristas at the Zion location were super kinda and understood what happened and gladly made me a brand new refresher the way it's supposed to be at no additional cost!!“

“Please do consider booking Sweet Home Gelato for your wedding! Each flavor offered is incredibly tasty. The pricing is extremely fair for catering and much more affordable compared to other vendors. My wedding was scheduled for August 8,2020. But due to Covid-19, we unfortunately had to cancel. Janice was extremely compassionate, understanding and flexible during the whole process. Sweet Home Gelato was the most compassionate and flexible vendor. It is not easy to cancel a wedding, unfortunately many vendors were not as accommodating. Janice immediately offered a refund, date change or gift card for the deposit. Sweet Home Gelato was under no circumstance required to issue a refund. Please do consider supporting this small business that is run by good people!“

“I recently visited the Dunkin’ on Sand Lake Rd., and overall, the experience was decent, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

Let’s start with the positives: the recent remodeling is a huge plus. The place looks fantastic! The kitchen, counters, and displays are all new and spotless, which gives it a very welcoming and organized feel. As expected from any Dunkin’ location, the donuts are great—classic, reliable, and always a treat.

However, the same cannot be said for their sandwiches. I recently ordered one that included hashbrowns, and it was a disappointment. The hashbrowns were soggy and dripping with oil, which made the sandwich unappetizing. A little more care in food preparation would go a long way.

The drive-thru experience is where things fall short. While efficiency is important, customer service is too. Unfortunately, the drive-thru staff, particularly a young, blonde girl, seems uninterested in even basic politeness. She doesn’t greet customers or respond to greetings, giving off the impression that she’s always in a bad mood. This lack of interaction feels cold and unwelcoming. As a result, I’ve started ordering inside at the counter, where the service is slightly better.

Overall, the Dunkin’ on Sand Lake Rd. has a lot going for it in terms of appearance and food quality (aside from the hashbrowns), but the staff could really use a refresher on customer service skills to make the experience as great as the newly remodeled space suggests it could be“

“Thank you to our new Starbucks in Mundelein! I have visited this location three times now via the drive through. By far the friendliest and best customer service I have ever received at a Starbucks! “The donuts are fantastic but the place itself is gross. The floor is sticky and looks like it hasn't been swept or mopped in days. No napkins available and when we asked the staff said their boss hadn't ordered any paper goods or cleaning supplies in a while. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper, soap or paper towels either and was disgusting. I wonder if they even have soap in the kitchen to wash their hands. I don't think it's dramatic to say the health department should probably be called.“
