“We had a great experience at Wok’d in downtown Lemont. The service was attentive and friendly, and our food came out quickly. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the vegetables were vibrant and crisp (not soggy and sad like you sometimes get at other places).

It was refreshing to find dishes that felt light and ingredient-driven. Instead of relying on heavy sauces or overly processed flavors like some spots do, Wok’d focuses on fresh vegetables and well-balanced seasoning.

Even the fried crab rangoon felt surprisingly light and not weighed down with oil, and we loved that they actually use real crab in them. The dishes were well seasoned and flavorful without going overboard.

“From the minute we walked in everything was wonderful. Our server was friendly and beyond accommodating. As was the chef when we requested a dish not on the menu. The food was exceptional. The best Chinese food we’ve ever had in the suburbs. Definitely compares to Chinatown.“

“After going the first time I knew I'd be coming back. The staff is so kind and the service is remarkably quick. The food is unbelievably delicious. Favorites of ours are the soup dumplings, the green beans, and the scallion pancakes. We've also gotten the beef dumplings, fried rice, orange chicken, combo chow mein, crab rangoons, and pork buns - all of which were great. The dan dan noodles fell a little flat for us. I really liked the stir fried pancake but it's not for everyone. Both times I've gone with a small group (4-6 people) and it took a little time to get seated (<20 mins) but it was the dinner rush and their dining space is admittedly on the smaller side - maybe 6 tables with 20-25 seats total? Overall my friends and I love this place and will definitely be coming back again and again!“

“This is our go to take out Chinese place. Flawless. Flavorful, large portions, quick delivery, friendly. Our faves: egg foo yung, Singapore rice noodles, general tsos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, beef chop suey - all wonderful.“

“I have been searching for a new go-to Chinese restaurant since I moved from Evergreen Park to Naperville in June 2023. My go to in EP was Wings in Alsip and I’ve had such a hard time finding a place that is just as good or better than Wings, until New Wok. I ordered online and sent my husband because I don’t drive. The first thing my husband said when he walked in the door was that they were so friendly and welcoming when he went to pick up the order. We crack everything open, get our plates together, and have at it. My son and husband usually have multiple conversations among us, but they loved their dishes so much, they were quiet the entire time they were eating. My daughter loved her crab Rangoon and her fried rice, and their vegetable egg rolls were some of the best I’ve ever had. I have definitely found my go-to Chinese place!“

“In this food court Liang’s Chinese Cafe had the longest wait line by Asians and it was worth tasting authentic Chinese food. Their noodles were popular. “Quick review: The portion is slightly larger than the lechon here in California. The price is reasonable. Great taste and seasoning especially the lemon grass used for flavoring. The skin was really crispy and crunchy. The meat itself is not dry and bland unlike other lechon I have tasted. I served with my military friends and they all loved it. I guess the only downside to my review is my location. My buddy had to bring this to me to the west coast all the way from the midwest. The restaurant was a great ambiance, clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Now lets get to the good part the food... We had the combination rice Thai style, crab rangoons, egg rolls, and also the General Tso Chicken , followed by some of the signature rolls. OMG DELICIOUS. The taste of everything was so good, fresh, hot and so good. We loved everything brought to the table. We found a new spot to visit for sure. Highly recommend the food.“

The food was absolutely delicious, im a creature of habit so our food order is always the same so I can't speak to the many other things on the menu. “I love noodles. I have ordered every pan fried, steamed, chow fun, mei fun, lo mein from just about every Chinese place in the DG, westmont, Woodridge, Willowbrook, Darien area. The common denominator for most of the places is how they love dumping a ton of onions in the dish with some noodles, a little bit of meat and a scant amount of other veggies. I spend more time picking the creepy little (sometimes not so little) chunks of the filler out than actually eating my precious noodles. Darien Chop Suey gives me none of the little buggers! I always order the pad see eiw and not only are there piles of glorious noodles, but they never skimp on the meat or veggies! Beautiful broccoli and mushrooms and not an onion in sight! It's so yummy. The hubs loves the sesame chicken. The egg rolls are plump and the egg drop soup is divine. Plus, they are the most affordable place in the area! Dang when did Chinese food get so expensive? Very reasonable here though. Super nice on the phone and we've ordered like a dozen times and it's always ready in twenty minutes or so. This is my favorite Chinese place. Darien Chop Suey, more like Darien Chop Yummy fo rizz!!!!“

“Golden Dragon is quick, affordable option. Every time I call in an order there they are always polite and answer any questions I have about the entrée or item. The turnaround from when you place your order to pickup is quick, generally 15-30 mins. The food is always fresh, hot and ready to go. The entrees and soups are fine, but I wasn't real impressed with alot of the appetizers (especially the egg rolls). My favorite item is the Moo Goo Gai Pan combo platter.“

I recommend the fruit smoothies. The shop is run by a few older people, so please be patient with them as they prepare your order.
