50 Best Chinese Restaurants near Lemont

“Me and my girlfriend had Wok’d for the very first time yesterday. We have 0 leftovers. This is a new staple for us. The food is just incredible! Thank you! 🙏“

“Unbelievable. My son and I had tried all of their popular items. First, the Beef Noodle Soup, to die for. The flavors and rich and balanced and the best soup ive ever had and I look for the best ramen, pho, noodle soups, and etc... the soup dumplings incredible and the perfect size. The grandma's fried rice is delightful, and worth it. The Cheng Du dumplings were good but I would skip them for the rest of the dishes listed here, and the Dan Dan Noodles unfortunately didnt have any flavor and wouldn't get those again. All in all, this place beat the expectations. Thank you for the great food!“

“From the minute we walked in everything was wonderful. Our server was friendly and beyond accommodating. As was the chef when we requested a dish not on the menu. The food was exceptional. The best Chinese food we’ve ever had in the suburbs. Definitely compares to Chinatown.“

“Excellent! I ordered a lunch special. It was wonderful. There was so much food I could only eat half of it. More for tomorrow! Even the fortune cookies were very good and crispy and had a fortune inside instead of a proverb! I ordered by phone. They said it would take 15 minutes but it was ready when I got there in half the time.“

“It’s everything you want from a Chinese place. I honestly don’t believe any review less than 5 stars. Our area is plagued by bad to mid at best Chinese food, and Moy Yuen is a shining star (5 stars!). Everything we order is always delish and cooked quickly. The phone order is efficient with no delays. Try orange chicken, general chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, and Singapore noodles. And don’t forget the egg roll. The place is no frills but consistently great above average Chinese food in the Western Suburbs.

“It seems like this restaurant may be under new management, and my experience was a bit mixed. 🤔 The food was decent and tasted fine, but the portions felt smaller than expected considering the prices. 🍽💸 Unfortunately, the service was the biggest disappointment. Our server didn't seem very welcoming and appeared annoyed whenever we asked questions about the menu, which made the experience less enjoyable. 😕 With so many great Asian restaurants in the Naperville area, I'd probably choose one of those before coming back. Hopefully things improve in the future because this place has potential. 🍜✨“

“This place is definitely worth the drive, came here a week ago and felt compelled to leave a review, albeit late

Sichuan boiled beef has so much tender beef compared to most places we’ve been
Dumplings- the best, highly recd sour cabbage with pork
The shredded chili chicken had great, distinct flavor“

“great place and food friendly staff“

“i live about 30 min away. they made sure my food was fresh and hot and I didn't need to warm it up when I got home.“

“Quick review: The portion is slightly larger than the lechon here in California. The price is reasonable. Great taste and seasoning especially the lemon grass used for flavoring. The skin was really crispy and crunchy. The meat itself is not dry and bland unlike other lechon I have tasted. I served with my military friends and they all loved it. I guess the only downside to my review is my location. My buddy had to bring this to me to the west coast all the way from the midwest. But I definitely recommend this food for all of you avid foodies and lechon lovers.“

“Great food. Friendly new owner“

“This is our go to place for Chinese food! The quality is always consistent, great portions, and the team that runs it is so sweet. They take care of their customers and we are regulars because of that. We get a big take out from them at least once a month. Would recommend to anyone local to the area!!“

“I am writing to share some feedback regarding our dinner order last night.

Pagoda is our go-to place in Lockport, though we don't get to order from you as often as we would like. The food was delicious last night; we particularly enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken. I had asked for extra pineapple in the sauce and was very happy that your team was able to make that happen.

Thank you for the great meal and for accommodating my request.“

“My family and I have been going to New Wok since I was a kid. So glad to see this place still cookin'. The gentleman who works the front is so kind and their food is delish. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Always recommending our local Chinese spot. Thank you guys!“

“Absolutely delicious! The hot and sour soup brought the heat, but didn't over power the flavor. We also had a variety of the dim sum, the best was the pot stickers. Fun atmosphere, great service“

“Wow unbelievable foods and i can't believe they able to accommodate. I order party trays for the holiday and knowing some items is not on the menu and Ethan and Serina willing to tell the chef to make it for me. Thank you and amazing foods and service here. Definitely will come back“

“Great food!“

“The restaurant is clean, cozy, and well-kept, creating a very pleasant dining experience. The owner is extremely kind and welcoming. The dish in the photo was specially prepared upon request, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!“

“My daughter and I stumbled on arriving to this restaurant. The environment was beautiful and it looked very elegant. The food was delicious. I told my daughter that we will return because we loved everything about this restaurant and want to try other food with my son too.“

“Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant ever!! The pork fried rice is a 10 star and their pork lo mien is outstanding! As soon as I get back to the Chicago area I make a point to eat here and bring some back with me! I can’t stress enough how delicious their food is!!!“

“Our new favorite Chinese food place! We've gotten food here many times and it's always very good. Very yummy rice and noodles. Though, I didn't like how the potstickers came out they felt too doughy, but so far that's my only complaint!“

“Yum. Always consistent. Always our favorite.“

“The food was so delicious and fresh tasting. Good job everyone that works there. Me and my parents will be definitely be coming back. This is the best Chinese food In Illinois. I highly recommend coming here.“

“We are regulars to Lao Sze Chuan. I personally think the food is very good!“

“Best in Orland Park, especially their egg rolls !“

“Food was delicious,as always! Fresh veggies, done just right. And Danny is always attentive.“

“This is becoming my go to local Chinese food place. Egg rolls have good flavor but are a bit small. Egg drop soup and wanton should are very good. Orange chicken is good. Kung pao chicken and beef are both good. Lunch and dinner specials are fairly priced and give you alot of food.“

“The best Chinese food we've ever had in Will County“

“Ordered online and given a “ready by” time of 6:13pm. My son volunteered to pick it up and sat in their parking lot for over an hour. Finally ready for pick up at 7:14pm. Food is great, but they need to revamp their online system to accurately reflect when it will be ready!“

“Egg rolls are the best in 4 towns surrounding, spring rolls are good but need a little help. Food is top notch so for, it will take some time to try everything. Had the sweet and sour chicken, beef fried rice, egg foo young, and chop suey, so good. Stay tuned for future posts.“

“A food court filled with restaurants serving authentic Chinese cuisine. The food here is amazing. I would gladly trade the Americanized strip mall version that passes for Chinese food in the US for the delectable cuisine in this food court!“

“First time having food here and it was delicious. The price was very reasonable and the portions were huge!
This will be my new spot for Chinese food.
Also no tummy ache the next day which has happened to me before after different Chinese restaurants.“

“Very great service & delicious food!!!“

“This place is an unassuming gem. It was kind of out of the way of things, but it is worth a sit down experience. The restaurant itself is very nostalgic, there is a lot of seating and was pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the food was really great. I mean this in the best way possible, it was no frills cuisine. So often, restaurants try to re-invent the wheel and it isn't always necessary. The portions were plentiful, the prices were great, it was all fresh and hot and delicious. I am personally a fan of the choice of vegetable egg rolls not spring rolls and I was delighted that they had both. They were amazing!! I do not eat meat, but based upon everything else and the flavor profile I am certain a meat dish would be great too. I definitely would visit again!“

“We like coming here for some Taiwanese classics. I recommend the pork stick rice tower, pork pie, oyster omelette, and the pork potage with noodles. They also make tasty drinks. I recommend the fruit smoothies. The shop is run by a few older people, so please be patient with them as they prepare your order.

Saying this because I saw this during my last visit here. After ordering, please do not crowd the counter waiting for your food/drink. Please step back and allow other patrons to place their orders and avoid confusion.“

“The BEST Spicy Tuna Hand Rolls on the planet!“

“the food is delicious and the service is amazing! ive had many things on the menu and each time it is on point. the couple that run it are as sweet as can be and always take my order with a smile. i highly recommend china china if youre in the area!“

“Clearly the best Chinese cuisine around town. All ingredients are fresh. Food is never pre-prepared. We’ve never been disappointed here. And the food is consistently delicious - this restaurant doesn’t change cooks every two weeks like so many other places.“

“We have recently started ordering from this resturant and we are very big fans!
Crab Rangoons 5/5
Spring Rolls 5/5
Sweet and Sour Chicken 5/5
Fried Rice 4/5 (fried rice is my favorite so 5/5 is difficult to get lol)

The owner is so sweet as well“

“Delicious Chinese food! Family friendly atmosphere! Attentive service!“

“We went last night. It was such a unique amazing experience! What fun! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The food was excellent! (Not a place for kids, you have a pot of boiling broth cooking on your table, more of an adult place). The food was very good, I was so satisfied with the whole experience! And the birthday person is free! 🥳🥳🥳“

“Our Friendship Luncheon group had 30 people at its January gathering there yesterday. They only had 1 waiter taking orders, so it was 4 diners at a time. Food came quickly after ordering, but last table had ordered 30 minutes after the first.“

“We had a 1st Anniversary party for my daughter, since we didn't have a wedding reception. Catering through Zen House for 100 people. It was amazing! Easy to work with, price was great and pick up was a breeze. They gave me suggestions and worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Just loved it. My daughter was very happy. THANK YOU!“

“Food was cooked perfectly. Large portions and absolutely delicious. Very friendly and fast service! Julie and I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Hands down best Chinese in the area I’ve been looking for a good spot this is it
Had

Combination Egg foo young
Combination fried rice
10/10“

“This is not a traditional “Mall”, it’s few stores and businesses on the ground and second floor. What most of us come here for are the authentic Chinese restaurants on the main floor. These are not fancy or fine dining but solid food at a reasonable prices. Check out Chinese Cafe in the center, specifically on weekends they served traditional Taiwanese breakfast that’s hard to find.“

“Have been here in a while. Glad I swung on in. The Kung Pao Chicken here is interesting. They use Jalapeño peppers instead of the traditional red chili peppers. A combination of the heat and taste of the peppers gave the dish a unique zing. I will definitely be back to get another order!“

“After Golden Chopsticks closed down, I found this place and it is honestly just as good, if not better, than Golden Chopsticks!

Parking: Parking can be an issue depending on time of day. Parking spots are always available, but sometimes you need to park in front of a store a few doors down.“

“Golden Dragon is quick, affordable option. Every time I call in an order there they are always polite and answer any questions I have about the entrée or item. The turnaround from when you place your order to pickup is quick, generally 15-30 mins. The food is always fresh, hot and ready to go. The entrees and soups are fine, but I wasn't real impressed with alot of the appetizers (especially the egg rolls). My favorite item is the Moo Goo Gai Pan combo platter.“

“man, i love tai san chef😙“
