“I am so glad I found this bread. For someone that not only has an issue with wheat and dairy but also oat, barley and rye this was such a joy to find this bread. I was skeptical at first but when I tried the bread it was AMAZING!!! The price is wonderful as well. This bread is so much better as to what you can get at your local store and also you don't have to make it. Just freeze it and then take it out and bake it! Wonderful!!! A great atmosphere and a ton of choices for ice cream and ice cream cones.
The owner is a great person and very welcoming. This place is also open until 11 PM, not many ice cream bars places can say that.

“Always loved their Greek pastries, they are the best, started going to them 60 yrs ago with my mom and dad. We were always going to Hellas for our parties baptisms and weddings. All our holiday needs were easily available for us. Unfortunately, we moved out to Poplar Grove, Illinois near Belvedere and have missed them greatly. “Today CheSa was in my building The Franklin downtown and of course I had to support my own! I got the 4 cheese Mac/jerk chicken bowl. Not too spicy but had a nice kick. Chicken was tender. Only issue is the juice from the chicken made the Mac and Cheese runny at the bottom“

“So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

“I just walked out of the door and am so glad that God sent us there. We tried 3 places prior to walking in CheSa’s doors which was a definite blessing. We had the catfish skillet, bourbon peach cobbler franchise toast, chicken sausage and scrabbles eggs w/cheese washed down with a breakfast martini. Absolutely delicious and with the owner/chef being very warm w/great hospitality. We’re definitely going back.“

“Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.“

“We love Eli’s Cheesecake in Chicago and have been coming every year ( at least 10 years as of now) to pick up cheesecakes for the holidays. We usually buy 20+ cheesecakes for our friends and neighbors, and the service is always wonderful. Rosa, the store manager, was always especially kind and helpful during our visits. So and Bryan and the rest of the team this past holiday were friendly and helpful too.

We had curry with rice, drunken noodles, and two orders of “chef’s gone crazy”—the chef cooked whatever he wanted for us and they were both pleasant surprises!
