“I recently took my daughter and everything was fine, better than expected. Don't pay attention to reviews that are over 6 months old. A lot can change in a few months. The only problem I had was with the watermelon. Seedless watermelon is disgusting. But that's a personal situation, some people love it. But I love the fact that I can try everything. Large variety of dishes and the ice cream is actually real. But only chocolate and strawberry was available. Add vanilla ice cream and a topping station like crushed cookies or something would be awesome. The real issue is the people. A lot of the people are very inconsiderate and would stand in the way as if no one else is there. And some of the adults would allow their kids to hover right next to you so close, it's like being in a crowded elevator. The kids will lean over your plate that I your hand while your trying to get food. And the parents will just watch. You have to tell them to please give you some space. 🤦🏾‍♂ But other than the people that come there to eat. The staff is nice and they keep the place clean. I would definitely be coming back. And this will probably be a reoccurring thing for me. The only thing that would bother me is the fact that some food selections is random. Some days they have shrimp some days they don't some days they have crab legs some days they don't and I don't know which day that would be. So you pay your money you go inside and you find out the one thing that you really wanted is not available that day.“

“We were indifferent to Mora when it first opened several years ago. The food was ok but not great. We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. We returned on Sunday afternoon and continue to be bowled over inspite of the noisy laughter coming from a couple of women in a corner booth.“

“This place deserves 10 stars! The Sushi Sashimi Bento at Neta Sushi is fantastic with chef’s choice sushi and sashimi that melts in your mouth. The California roll and salad complete the meal perfectly. I also ordered the Truffle Yuzu Salmon, which had a beautiful balance of citrus and truffle flavor. The Wasabi Tuna roll with shrimp tempura and spicy tuna was bold and delicious. Amazing sushi spot in Park Ridge!“

“A really great lunch spot to dine and chat with friends!! I came during the “lunch special” hours of 11-3. Service was immediate and very friendly. Both specials we chose also included a rich miso soup. The tempura batter was perfection, crispy and light but not greasy. Everything was presented in a way that was pleasing to the eye. I will definitely return!!“

“I dined at Neko Sushi and tried their tuna and avocado fried rolls, and they are the reason I’ve already been back three times in the past two weeks since finding this neighborhood gem. My fiancé ordered the shrimp in a blanket and they were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. I had the ramen both times and it was absolutely delicious. My fiancé tried the pad thai with shrimp on one visit and the basil shrimp fried rice on another, and both dishes were full of flavor and so satisfying. Neko Sushi has quickly become one of our favorites. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently fresh and tasty. Oh and they are BYOB!“

“Sushi lover here. Ordered couple times 3 rolls lunch special and it was great. The quality of the rolls is top notch. Today I went to try the signature nigiri and Ari maki along with their house sake and it was just amazing.
Make sure to try the Zuke salmon nigiri, Yellowtail signature nigiri and the Big eye tuna nigiri as well. They are all wow😌“

We chatted for a while and I enjoyed the cashew pad Thai I ordered with peanut sauce. Going back year after year, Ruk is a staple for dinner the night I arrive in the city. “best sushi in the chicagoland area for me! this little stall inside Hmart Niles’ food court is such a hidden gem. my husband and i actually come here once a week now, it’s officially become our comfort-food spot. i’m not a raw-sushi person at all, but they have amazing cooked options. i'm obsessed with the salmon yaki roll. seriously, it’s that good, always fresh and consistent.

we chatted with the owner once, and he told us he even makes the wasabi from scratch. the wasabi alone deserves an award, so flavorful, not the harsh store-bought kind. the owner is almost always there, making the sushi himself and running things with such a friendly vibe. he truly deserves recognition. this is literally the only sushi my stomach can tolerate, so that says a lot.

and it’s not just the sushi. their entrées are unforgettable too. my husband swears by the chicken katsu: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the portion/price is super fair.

“Bluefin in Park Ridge has become my go-to for business lunches, and I keep coming back for good reason. This is the best sushi I have found outside the Loop, and I have covered a lot of ground. The fish is consistently fresh and the rolls are executed at a level that most city spots would be proud of -- not the watered-down suburban version of the cuisine, the real thing.

The atmosphere is what makes it work for a lunch meeting. The music is cool without being intrusive, the space has energy without feeling chaotic, and the staff is sharp and attentive every time I walk in. I can actually have a conversation, close a deal, and enjoy the food. That combination is rarer than it should be.

If you are northwest of the city and want serious sushi in a room that feels genuinely alive, this is the answer. Five stars, no hesitation.“
