All were really really great but Kyoten Next Door was phenomenal. I not only left full (rarity for me 🫄🏻) but each course was unexplainably good and chef Jorge was funny, kind, and knowledgeable!

Definitely worth the money for the service and food you get. Finding the location was iffy at first because there’s no signs or anything and it looks like it’s abandoned but once you get in it’s super super nice and cozy.

“We were indifferent to Mora when it first opened several years ago. The food was ok but not great. We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. We returned on Sunday afternoon and continue to be bowled over inspite of the noisy laughter coming from a couple of women in a corner booth.“

Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. “What an awesome place. Workers are very welcoming and helpful. Waitress suggested a roll for my son and it was so good, he devoured it. Food was amazing and prices are really good, specially their daily and weekly specials. Place was very quiet, it was mid-afternoon so there was not a big crowd. Parking is paid street parking and is a bit difficult at times but if you’re not familiar with the area, there’s a free parking lot around the block. Will definitely be back to this gem!“

Also, let’s be honest, anything is better than forcing a gorilla to make sushi for humans. It was a neat trick, yeah. But I’m surprised that establishment lasted as long as it did.
