“It was very quiet when we were there. The sandwiches were made promptly, well balanced and loaded with the ingredients we requested. Staff was polite. Our only big complaint is the unisex bathrooms. I get tired of grabbing a wad of toilet paper to lower the seat that someone has just peed all over. Bring back separate bathrooms please. I got Beach Turkey with extra veggies and Don got a Cuban without mayo. Both were delicious.“

“Went here with my Auntie, Fizi and Nick was very friendly with us, they were guiding us throughout the way and even pointed out what we can do to get a discount. We presented a coupon but we forgot to check the date, it was invalid to use already. But then Fizi helped us with the app and we got the $5 discount (not much but it’s something) Then Nick was friendly and attentive with our food as well. Great staff, good food, good price. “I just love this little sandwich shop. We weren’t really hungry but realized we were close by so decided to stop. For “not very hungry” I sure did eat a lot. The ham and brie is my favorite. So so good. The ham is shaved thin and stacked thick. The brie is fresh. The bread is fresh and perfectly crusty on the outside but soft inside. The owner, Arthur, was quick to get me a requested cup of ice for my drink (I’m that person). He was also friendly, stopping to chat a bit, during a lull. Not many lulls at Deliska though. Seems to be a popular dine-in AND takeout. Arthur said their sign is (finally) arriving soon. I expect being noticeable from Waukegan Rd will really up their walk-in business. Try their sandwiches. You won’t regret it. And take a pic before devouring most of it.“

“It’s a good sandwich place. I tried a few of their sandwiches and haven’t had one I didn’t. You can also modify them to your liking. It’s usually not busy which I like because we can order and get our food quickly. This is our daughter’s favorite sandwich place (she’s 4 but knows what she likes lol).“

“The place to go when you are shopping at Walmart if you ever get hungry, they have the best sandwiches in town. Are you especially like the subway melt which is ham, turkey, ham, bacon, and probably melted on it and then I had a lot of ingredients. I usually do it with multi Italian bread .“

“Update:
I went a second time to try more things. I wouldn't recommend the potato pancakes. I don't know if it was an off day but the potatoes were dry, like they were left out for too long and then fried.
But the belly lox sandwich was amazing! On the salty side but that's how we like it. It came with a side of potato salad which was also amazing.

The food was good but not great. The bagel and cream cheese were good and standard but the pastrami hash and eggs were okay with not a lot of flavor. I'll definitely go back to try different Bagels and other items.“

“I recently ordered from Potbelly and had an interesting experience that turned out quite positive! Initially, I thought I was ordering a delicious sandwich but opened my order to find it mostly meat. It was a learning moment for me, as I realized I needed to add the extras!

I also mistakenly opened a salad instead of just the sandwich, which made my bill seem a bit higher than expected. When I reached out to the manager to clarify the situation, they were incredibly understanding and took care of everything promptly.

“When I saw this deli open I thought, ho hum, just another deli. This is not ‘just another deli’. Selection is great, food has been outstanding. I especially like using their iPhone app. Easy to order and make customizations to your sandwich. I like to substitute the wheat wrap on my Spicy Southwest Chicken. The Chicken Tortilla soup is also fantastic - just enough heat for me. My wife loves the Savannah Chop salad. If you plan to eat in, study the menu before you go. You’ll have a hard time deciding! In my experience the prices for all there items we’ve ordered are reasonable. Example - the Savannah Chop salad was $8.89. Not bad for a large salad with grilled chicken. Support this business because they are a differentiator.“

“I “started” the subject that pertains to this transaction at the time, while the food was top tier, the services is what needs to shine. I placed an order for delivery, and when I looked at the app it said that the food was picked up. An hr or so had passed and I had not received my food. I made a call to the restaurant and the way that they appeased me was to remake my order and the owner himself brought me my food. That gesture went a long way for me, and I truly appreciated it.“
