“My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. The owner was very welcoming and down to earth as well as the staff. The food was excellent! The owner also made an announcement that it was our anniversary and played the song It's Our Anniversary. I highly recommend this establishment!!! You will not be disappointed!“

“First batch of bread was cold. After that everything was good and hot. Server Maggie was slow. Slow in putting in our refill orders. We had to ask more than once for napkins, to go containers and bags. At another location, I didn't have to wait long and I got two refills at a time. But at this location, it was one refill at a time and it took a long time.“

“I am not notable, so my opinion may be of little consideration for most. This stated, the pancakes I've had here rival some of the best I have ever tasted. This is without mentioning the Chorizo, the eggs, and their choice of spices and peppers. The food here as of this date 6/30/26, is some of the best food I have had.“

“One of my favorite places to have a perfectly prepared dinner. The food never disappoints. Portions are large, so taking home enough for tomorrow's lunch is always possible. The service is really great. Most of the servers have been there for a long time so they know the menu well and are attentive without being obsessive. My favorite on the menu is the Tournedos of Beef. The sauce over them is wonderful.“

“Ate here tonight and the food was wonderful. We had jerk turkey tips, jerk salmon and shrimp, yam, greens, cabbage, Mac and cheese and fried rice. Everything was tasty, hot, freshly made and spicy. The ladies were super friendly, helpful and provided great service. We will definitely be back to try other items. Ask about the specials that aren’t in the regular menu. Yum!“

“They will always have a customer in me. The food is consistently fresh, and they value quality. They are extremely pleasant, and communicate well with you. My husband loves their catfish, and I love the wings. I’ve been visiting this Sharks for 4 years, since they were at the building. Very good!“
“The food is delicious!!! Has the shrimp gumbo and would go back everyday for it if I could. The service has been amazing and is the real star of the restaurant. Kelsie has been our server both times and is the reason why we came back a 2nd time.“

“During My first time trying this restaurant, and it was amazing! The staff was outstanding and very professional. I had several questions, and she took the time to answer every single one without ever seeming bothered. I know I probably took up at least five minutes of her time, but she continued to assist me with such kindness and patience.
The food was absolutely delicious. Let’s just say I’ve been back three to four times a week, LOL. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone!“

“Fried chicken and mild sauce with fries is my go to meal, it always hits the spot! There are also various types of food here like the fish as well. They have a good assortment of cakes from local bakeries as well. I stop by this spot a lot but Sharks is pretty consistent with the quality and flavor around the Chicago area.It's that reliable place where I know I can find the flavors I crave, served with a side of warmth and familiarity. If you're a local or just passing through, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Sharks Fish and Chicken a try – a spot where great taste and a welcoming vibe come together in harmony.“
“Ordered this seafood platter on UberEats and it arrived faster than I expected plus it was well packaged and prepared. The shrimps were well cooked and seasoned. I also enjoyed the side of broccoli, corn and potatoes. This fisherman Island location is pretty good.“

“The food here is phenomenal!?I tried it for the first time couple days ago and it was mouthwatering literally? the burgers are amazing, the milkshakes are wonderfully delicious, the mozzarella sticks are really good, the fries are good and the chicken here is really good too! We’ve gone to this place so many times and the staff and manager has always shown appreciation for his customers new or common! “Had an amazing time. This Saturday night featured karaoke $5 cover charge. It was a family affair with a group of 17 ( Kalon) and staff went out there way to provide quality service. Greek wings, bbq wings, homemade chips, strawberry, and blackberry long Island was a hit. I highly recommend this establishment.“

“Just had my first time here yesterday and my first seafood boil. This place is a hidden gem! I have never had seafood so delicious! The place was clean, the staff was friendly and the waitress was knowledgeable. Food came out fast and was fresh. I throughly enjoyed my experience. They can fit a lot of people but it wasn't many folks there for a Friday evening. Hope this place sticks around for awhile and more folks hear about how good they are.“

“I would give 5 stars but the fries are way different then any other JJ fish and chicken location i have visited. They got them crinkle cut fries and they are okay but not as good as the fries they have at other locations. Everything was hot and fresh and the employees where super respectful.“

My original order from another place did not fall through as expected. Contacted J&J - they were friendly and understanding... helped me out and Truly delivered - even in a timely manner.
