“Stopped at this charming donut shop for a little dessert. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helped me pick three, very tasty flavors! Tried the Reese's, coconut, and "Uncle Tom" mini donuts. (Apparently, these were top sellers.) Delicious bites that make for a great post-meal sweet. Will definitely return to try other flavors!“

“It’s no surprise that there is are all 5 star reviews. One of the best cakes I’ve had. I planned an office event in February highlighting black owned businesses and last minute found this bakery. I came towards the end of the day so the only thing available was a frozen cake. I was definitely skeptical but the cashier said it would taste just fine once let it sit out a bit. It was so moist, it was amazing. 10/10 that was a frozen cake so I can only imagine what the fresh cupcakes taste like.“

“We stopped in for a special treat. They had a good selection of donuts. The shop was decorated nicely and the man who was working there was inviting, helpful and nice. We decided on 6 donuts, Boston creams, pistachio, blueberry cheesecake, apple cider and bacon maple. We enjoyed them all! The prices are average for this type of shop and it does have a nice area to sit and eat if you want to do that. Overall, I recommend stopping in for a delicious donut. We will be going back whenever we are in Elmhurst again.“

“I went through the drive-thru to get a ?RAINBOW CONE? for my birthday. It was my first time ever, and I was not disappointed!!!There are several flavors of ice cream available by the pint or quart. They pack it FRESH. I bought a quart of the Lemon Raspberry Swirl and a quart of the Big Muddy for later. YUMMY!!! They even included cones wrapped in paper that could be used for sharing.The corner location at the traffic signal on Roosevelt Road makes for easy entering/exiting. “Everything on the menu is a hit. I discovered this place during lock down and have been coming back since then. My favorites are the sauced chicken tenders and their burgers. The service here is also quick and everyone who works here is friendly and welcoming.“

“If you haven't had the Carmel Pecan coffee cake, just call and order it. You will absolutely not be disappointed!!! Probably the best coffee cake I've had. The dough is perfection and the pecan filling and caramel topping are to die for. We also had a cherry coffee cake which was wonderful. I can't say enough about this bakery. Got the salted caramel, the boston crème pie, the m&m and made a caramel icing with graham crackers topping with raspberry drizzle. Coffee was decent too which is a plus. “Simple but great donut shop. Fresh donuts daily. The donuts are very good. I bought donuts at 5am. And was eating some of them at 5pm. And they were still very fresh. A couple were ate the next day. Still good. Just needed to be warmed and up a little. You could never do that with a Dunkin donut. 10/10.“

“I wanted to send a HUGE shout out to Dion, general manager of the Oakbrook Terrace location. A few weeks ago I put in a large order for my daughter's birthday party. I was expecting to have around 72 donuts and two boxes of coffee delivered at 9am on a Saturday. Apparently there was an issue or glitch of some kind with the third party who manages online ordering/delivery. I received an email at 4am the morning of my daughter's party that my order was cancelled as a result. I called the Oakbrook Terrace location at 6am in a panic and Dion saved the day! He put in my order manually, ran the payment without issue, and got the order out for a 9:00am delivery. Not only that but he was kind, understanding, and very tolerant of a woman panicking about donuts at 6am. Thank you, thank you Dion!Kid-friendliness: The mini-donuts are perfect for little hands. Plus, they are cute!“

“Every time I visit Firecakes in Oak Park, they always have a great display of donuts, a clean shop and the service is always great. I love their seasonal donuts and I have never been disappointed with my choices. I am not a coffee person so I have not tried their coffee, but the donuts are definitely worth the visit!“

“Only tried the corndogs and they’re really good. If you’ve had KongDog don’t come here thinking you’ll get the exact same thing though. They don’t put sugar on the original one or drizzle sauce on top of the hot cheeto dog. Also, the potato one was just cut up wavy fries on the outside. They made the corndogs fresh though so all of them were nice and crisp but it took awhile for them to come out.“

“I love this place . The staff and Management are always kind and helpful. I know with the incident that happened this pass week was an isolated incident and it will not stop me from going there . “In the past, I absolutely HATED this location! I'm an area residential owner and took a chance last month after years of refusing to patronize. I was extremely impressed with the customer service, managers, and swiftness of the drive thru. I was elated by the fact that this is one of the few locations that still "BAKES FRESH DONUTS DAILY"!!!! Needless to say, I've probably put on a few extra pounds this month. I honestly had been visiting at least 3xs a week. My children tasted the difference in the Dunkin donuts freshness. Kudos to the owner and team. Today, though I changed my outlook on customer service there. A shift leader was extremely RUDE and argumentative with me when I asked who was the manager of the establishment. I took my donuts back because there were black specs all over them as well as some in the box. Possibly coffee, but I was going to get a different batch, but compliment the changes and this employee would rather argue than tell me the name of the manager. Overall, this place has great donuts and service normally. Please stress better customer relations training with employees and explain the importance of not becoming argumentative and quickly/quietly resolving issues. You never know who your customer may be!Parking: There is ample private parking for the establishment with at least 20+ parking spaces for customers.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on a main Avenue and single level. There are two door entrances.“

“This is my neighborhood Dunkin! I recently got addicted to Dunkin after months of trying to leave it alone. With so many restaurants now not giving the customers what they want, some being overworked and tired. I go in and the staff is just so quick and does everything with a smile! I have never went in here and got a bad service! Please give them a raise!! This is one of the best locations! Everything is always fresh and they are just so nice.“

But after going there on 3 different occasions I feel comfortable leaving this review.
