“Went to Cork's for Mother's Day supper...YUM 😋! It was the best tasting, crispy, freshest fried seafood around! The fries were hot, crisp and awesome, too! Cork's is right up there with top notch restaurants, but at much less the cost. The staff was extremely friendly and the venue was neat.We will be back...OFTEN! ♥“

“The seafood boil style dishes were great. I think they are reasonably priced. We had the crawfish, crab, and shrimp as well as the obligatory cob corn and potatoes. The food was a little spicy for the little ones, but I thought it had great spice. I really enjoyed the Sammy sauce, a wonderful spicy garlic butter sauce. It went with everything IMO. There was no fried food available when we ordered which was a little disappointing. I thought the atmosphere was a bit rustic, but traditional for Louisiana I believe. I would come back“

“I was greeted by Lady J. They make really fantastic grilled shrimp dinner plates and po-boys. The bread is fresh and soft for a well dressed sandwich. The garlic bread was great with the plate combo. Great service with a smile. Will be back when passing through Baton Rouge. Conveniently located across the Museum of Fine Arts.“

“My food was excellent ! I live in the neighborhood and wish I would have explored this place sooner. I came here for restaurant week and had the sensation salad, ribeye, and tres leche. I was no disappointed I spoke to the owners while there and they were sweet. The man even opened the door when I was coming in and asked me how I was doing and engaged in conversation. I was impressed. My server was sweet but not too attentive. I sat there for a while before she came over to ask me if I was okay in which I was not lol 😀. I needed more dressing. They were not busy but she was just not attentive but it's all good. Overall I would be back and I do recommended.“

Their catfish is breaded with a great seasoned flavor, crispy thick pieces and some thin ones too. The Catfish Atchafalaya is one of the best entrees when you are craving a savory seafood dish. The crawfish etouffee is the best in the parish. We ordered the jacked up crawfish dip with the fried pita chips that come out hot and fresh with crawfish in every bite! Creamy with a hint of spice that’s so satisfying. Try that with the fried eggplant and you will love it. For dessert the richest and best bread pudding with an amazing tasty rum sauce. Take it home with you, heat it up for about 10 seconds and you have that midnight southern snack that brings you back to your childhood. The atmosphere is relaxing and the southern rustic Louisiana feel makes you wanna sit back and just enjoy the goodness of the evening. Our waitress was Carmin and she was welcoming and offered great advice on every dish we asked about. Great service across the board. The prices ate so affordable for the amount of food served on an entree, even the appetizers. Everything about Louisiana Bayou Bistro is superb from the second you walk in. There was a holiday party in the next room and the atmosphere was never bothered. Been coming here for almost 20 something years and it just gets better and better. The fried shrimp is my favorite. All you can eat for the price is unbeatable. Best food and people across the bridge! I live in Florida and when I come home this is where I love to go. “This place was outstanding in every way. My daughter was having a 16th birthday dinner and wanted to have it at Perkins Rowe. It was 16-18 girls. So we visited every restaurant, and most of them, while nice, seemed very detached. One place, the cute taco place in the back, wanted to charge us $25 for bringing our own cake in! Crazy talk! But as soon as we walked into Drago's, we felt welcomed and like they actually wanted our business. Scott, the GM, went above and beyond to accommodate us. On the day of the dinner, the servers really had their stuff together and were all smiles. Just the sweetest people. We had Cat and Emory, and we loved them both. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I really can't say enough good things about the whole experienc,e except thank you for making my girl's day special!“

“Visited today because of restaurant week. We were greeted an sat even though they were pretty full. I order the crawfish fries, pressed crawfish bread and the chocolate cake. My cousin ordered the boudin dip the grilled pork chop with greens and sweet potatoes, and bread pudding for dessert. The Crawfish fries were a little salty because the fries were heavily seasoned still it had a good taste. The boudin dip was unexpected. It didn't taste like boudin nor did it look like boudin. It kind of tasted like breakfast pork sausage in a dip. The pressed crawfish bread was phenomenal. Tasty and filled with crawfish it could have been toasted a little more but I wouldn't change a thing. My cousin's pork chop had a glaze but the pork chop itself was not seasoned the glaze kind of saved it. The sweet potatoes and Greens were good but I wouldn't order them on their own. We both enjoyed our desserts. The chocolate cake is gluten free but you would never tell the difference it was moist flavorful and sweet. The bread pudding had blueberries and pecans and a whiskey sauce on the side my cousin enjoyed it. I enjoyed this restaurant. Definitely would visit again to try the regular menu items.“
