“Oh man, talk about a hidden gem. Lived around this restaurant my whole life and I feel like an idiot for never having gone sooner. Ordered the general tso's chicken and mongolian beef plate, general tso chicken was good but it was a little different than most other chinese places; I almost wonder if I was given honey chicken by mistake, the sauce was very light in color.

The mongolian beef was by far the best food item i've ever received from a chinese food restaurant. Very good flavor and portion size for the price, definitely worth checking out!“

“I'm in town for an event and needed something to take back to the hotel. I was craving some Chinese food, and chose this one based on star rating. I live on the Gulf Coast of Alabama and the Chinese food is absolutely terrible, small portions, yellow rice(for fried rice), and expensive for the amount of food. This was the best Chinese I've had since leaving California. It smelled great, and tasted even better, and at a reasonable price. You should appreciate what you have here, I would definitely eat there again.“

“Food is decent. We ordered boneless mandarin chicken and Beef broccoli. Also cho Cho and Crab Rangoon. The fried rice, Cho Cho and Boneless chicken are good. Very seasoned! The mandarin sauce wasn’t very good so I think I’ll try a different sauce next time. I didn’t like the beef and broccoli at all. I’ll come back though.“

“Just got dinner here with tiki cocktails for the first time in several years. The food is fine. The cocktails were fine. Together - they hit in a very special way! I highly recommend that for the full China Doll experience. The service was great and the interior hasn't been updated since the 70's with wood panelling, tiki accent lights, and a pristine gold fish aquarium. It's exact what I wanted in an old school Americanized Chinese restaurant.“

“This is the best pho in louisiana. Broth is perfect flavor, look at that color! They also give a lot of meat. Rice dishes are also good, I like the porkchop. Also the hidden gems are the salt and pepper calamari, salt and pepper chicken wings, and salt and pepper shrimp. The flavor for these dishes are called rang muoi in vietnamese. “A true neighborhood gem on St. Bernard Ave. The homemade shrimp egg rolls and everything fried rice are absolutely fire — cooked fresh to order and the portions are massive, easily enough for two full meals. The parking lot stays packed all day which tells you everything you need to know.
Super friendly staff, fast service, and super affordable prices. Closed Mondays so plan accordingly. One of the best Chinese takeout spots in NOLA, no question.“

We picked up our order gave them a 50 dollar bill to include a tip and we did not receive the fried dumplings. The rest of the food was good and made to order, but don’t say you’re going to get an order of fried dumplings for free with orders of 35.00 or more if they aren’t going to honor that. When I called to mention this the person I spoke to was a little combative about it saying if it’s not on the ticket they won’t make it. Then you need to fix the problem bruh.“

“Came for the first time last night in a hurry. Got shrimp fried rice, and pork egg rolls. Egg rolls were AWESOME. Fried rice came PACKED full for a small, was super full off $14 tip included. Not sure what others are talking about the condiments, they are always on the counter, free, as many as you want. Every sauce they have and no they do not charge for condiments and they are friendly, professional, and the prices are very good for the amount of food you get. It was delicious and already have plans to go back tomorrow night. Ordered online and it was ready before 10 minutes piping hot.“
