“A New Orleans must! Great tasting, traditional Creole food. Food comes out HOT and the portions are big! A more simple menu that has just enough options and you can’t go wrong with any dish (although I recommend the red beans and rice, stewed or fried chicken and the praline bread pudding). Very impressed with how friendly the staff was. We will definitely be eating here again next time we are in town!“

“I took my Wife, Mom and Dad here for a tour and tasting. Everything we tried was good and some were excellent. However, the experience with Sam is was what made it all great. The staff was amazing and made us feel like we were in the backyard drinking with friends. We are local and like to day trip in state. I highly recommend giving this place a try and seeing why it is a hidden gem.“

The size of the bowl was ok, not as large as other pho restaurants. The price of the soup was on the higher side because of the location. Overall experience was good. Thank you for the super attentive waiter. She noticed I needed a fork and immediately brought it to me.“

“We dined at Commander’s Palace with a group of four, and from start to finish, it was an exceptional experience. Reservations are definitely recommended—this place is popular for a reason. The service was truly the best I’ve ever experienced. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel like VIPs. Chairs were pulled out for us, and there were dedicated servers for drinks and food. Every dish was brought out at the same time, with multiple staff coordinating to place each plate down simultaneously. Even the drink server meticulously cleaned the table with a small food pickup tool and replaced entire water glasses rather than just refilling them. It’s those small, thoughtful touches that really set this place apart. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, with warm lighting, tasteful wallpaper, and comfortable seating. Dressing up is encouraged, and it adds to the classic New Orleans fine dining charm. Another fun touch: they wrap up your leftovers in foil—and shape it into a swan, which was such a delightful surprise! As for the food, I personally loved my meal, though a couple of my friends were a bit more critical of their choices. Still, the quality and presentation were excellent overall. If you’re in New Orleans and want a special dining experience, Commander’s Palace is absolutely worth a visit.“

“How am I just finding out about this place? I went here on a weekday night and the first thing I noticed was the beautiful art on the walls. They also have some really unique chairs. This place is so cute.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive.

We tried a little bit of everything and man it was sooo good.

We got the lamb stuffed naan. Which was addictive. You can’t eat just one. We also got veggie samosas. They were pretty big and very tasty. That came with 2 unique and delicious sauces.

We got the lamb byriani. The lamb was so tender and the dish was really flavorful. We also got the tandoori platter. That was also delicious. It gave us the chance to try bunch of direct proteins with tandoori sauce. We also got the chutney which I highly recommend.

I had a mango lassi to drink. It was sweet and thick. It was really good.

Constant fun free events, great beer, excellent food pop-ups, beautiful patio of tropical plants and disco balls, and even a Nintendo 64 set up with mario kart. Glorious. “Food was good. I got the sampler platter and that was plenty (for me). The ensalada (salad) dressing was a little on the spicy side which was not described on the menu so I wasn’t expecting that so I ended up not eating it. Wait staff was very attentive. Drinks were good. Great place to go if you need gluten free food and like Colombian food. If you don’t need gluten free-you wouldn’t even know it. :)

“By Far the best food we have eaten here in New Orleans so far!! Highly recommend! There were 6 of us and every one of us loved our plates.
