“Very good pizza, especially the pepperoni one, we were very well served by Gigi, very friendly and attentive.
The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.
Other than that, great service and good food.“

“A bit expensive food but we went here for breakfast and the service was high quality. Great atmosphere. It definitely can be difficult to get a spot because they don't want it crowded but it adds to the atmosphere. If you want to treat yourself to breakfast come here“

“Definitely a spot that stands out, this place definitely has plenty of food options. It's a Saturday night and there's a live DJ not sure if this is a every weekend thing but it definitely did add to the atmosphere.
There are plenty of places to choose from so I can't say which one was better than the other but from others reviews each spot has its pros and cons.“

“I travel for work and often find the reactions weird when I say I’m a party of 1. The hostess here was so kind. They had a private event but she was able to seat me in the raw bar section and my dinner was excellent. The staff are very kind and don’t make you feel rushed at all. The food quality was top notch and the raw bar was excellent. The service and quality surpass the pricing. Do not miss the opportunity to try this place out.“

“It's small, with maybe 8 two tops and a counter. Not a lot of ambience, but nice dishware and clean wooden lines.
Service was attentive. There were only two or three parties there.
Food was interesting. I really enjoyed the scallops and the skate. I did not enjoy the dessert - a cornbread buckthorn berry thing.
Don't feel the need to go back, but I did enjoy my meal.“

“The wait staff is incredibly friendly. We heard the onion rings were heavenly. We were not disappointed. However the salad we ordered and shared was one of the best salads I have ever tasted. I think it was the Hot Cold Chicken Salad. Absolutely delicious! After 10 pm the sandwiches are half price and they all looked delicious too!!“

“We went here for a night cap after visiting the holiday market in Seaport and ended up staying for 3 drinks! The vibe with the red lighting, the old photos, being partially underground, it was all very neat. Our bartender who called himself "Shamus", but came up as "John" on our receipt was a hoot. He definitely knew how to get a rise out of customers (or put them in their place with some snark if they had one too many).

I told Shamus that I was picky about my dirty martinis and his was the best one I've ever had next to the one my husband makes me; he told me "put that on yelp, eh?!" but I'm putting it on here because I haven't read a yelp review since 2010. My husband had a classic old fashioned and it was absolutely perfect.

We had their bar food special that night which was chicken tenders - they were delicious -- all white meat, moist and appeared to be either hand breaded or just really good quality -- the sauce was delicious, and you can't go wrong with $1 tendies! Everyone else was ordering their pizza which also looked excellent.

I'd highly recommend stopping here for a fun, old school speakeasy vibe, good drinks, and some delicious bar food!“

“The food at the Shy Bird in Fenway was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Dunks with the homemade sauce dips they were all so good we couldn't choose a favorite and the butternut soup was absolutely incredible, with its little kick of spice and sunflower seeds! Our server was top-notch,very attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. The space is full of personality, the cocktails are excellent and reasonably priced, and the food is UNBELIEVABLY good. But what brings it all together for me are the people who work here. “We went to Blu before a show and they were aware that we had to be out of there by a certain time. Our server was fantastic. We never had to wait for a drink or to place our order. The food was very good and the views of the from the 4th floor were pretty cool!! I'd definitely recommend Blu for a pre-show dinner.“

“One of my favorite spots in Boston. The tasting menu is constantly changing according to seasonal ingredients, all of which are locally sourced. The tasting menu is always 6 courses. Vegetables and fruits are usually at the forefront of dishes, but fish and meat are the main course. Everything is always delicious. Nothing pretentious here. Just simple ingredients cooked with great technique to fantastic results. Desserts are also super creative and always finish strong.
Service is always super friendly and top tier. . I am a regular and they make feel feel like I'm at my second home wherever I come.
