I was enamored by the ladies preparing the buns visible thru the storefront window, and the utter vibes of the fresh construction just down the road and clear skies made for a refreshing meal in the breezy but warm weather outside. The noodles are a generous portion and full of intense spice (if spicy) and flavorful options, especially when accompanied by 4 golf-ball sized handmade friend buns.“

I enjoyed Oriental Gourmet with its simple atmosphere, friendly service, and most importantly—their delicious food. “We have a new office in Boston. So periodically I drive down from our main office to the Boston location and every time I do, I have resolved to try a new restaurant. This was today’s choice and it was SPECTACULAR! My server was fantastic. The food came out quickly and was insanely good. I didn’t know how big my stir-fried rice cake bowl would be so I ordered the sweet and sour pork loin to go with it. But the rice cake bowl was huge and tasted incredible. Lots of heat, lots of fresh prepared veggies and meat. 10/10 would recommend that dish. The pork tenderloin I tried and 10/10 would recommend it as well. The location is a bit small and that is literally the only nit I can pick. If you’re in this area, get some take out or eat in , you won’t regret it!!“

“Visiting in the Boston area, I was looking for a Chinese restaurant within walking distance for take out back to my hotel and I found the perfect place at Peach farm. I Ordered the beef and broccoli , pork mei fun and pork fried rice. The beef and broccoli was delicious with fresh broccoli and this was some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Very generous portions also, I would definitely eat here again on my next trip to Boston.“

“Very very delicious and comforting. Real deal. Considered dropping a star for slow service but in retrospect I think Head of the Charles this weekend just made everything a little more slow.

Lanzhou beef noodle soup was SO yummy words can’t even describe how the broth made me feel tbh. Lamb skewers were fatty and juicy and bursting with flavor. Mala tofu with preserved egg and rice was a great contrast to the other dishes — light and refreshing (also I love preserved egg with my whole heart). And the osmanthus flavor iced jelly? Slurp.

Beef Brisket Wonton Noodles (牛腩云吞面): The beef brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful. The noodles were smooth and springy, and the broth was rich and savory. The wonton skins were slightly overcooked, but overall, it was excellent.

Beef Chow Chow Mein (牛肉炒车仔面): The biggest surprise of the meal! Full of wok hei (aroma of the wok), packed with veggies, and before I knew it, I’d eaten a ton of veggies. A perfect balance of healthy and delicious.

Rice Noodle Roll (肠粉): Absolutely lives up to the hype! I’ve had many rice noodle rolls before, but this was the first time I truly understood how amazing they can be—thin, silky, and delicious.

Clay Pot Rice (煲仔饭): Also outstanding! The rice was fragrant and slightly crispy at the bottom, and the toppings were generous. It was so good I forgot to take a picture!“

The general gau chicken, however, was a bit too oily for my liking, and the egg rolls were rather bland in taste. I'm not entirely familiar with Chinese cuisine, so I'm unsure if that's how they are typically prepared, but it didn't quite suit my palate. Service is slow as there’s one boss lady doing everything from cooking to cleaning so don’t come in expecting too much and be patient. My favorites here are the peanut noodles (ban mian), stir fry rice cakes (nian gao), and the wonton soup (bian rou). CASH ONLY so bring change.

Everything is priced very affordably, I believe the 3 dishes in the pic were around $20 total.“

“I've been meaning to try this place for a while, and got to try a lot of things as we went with a group of friends. Overall I would say that the food was good, but the flavors were a bit repetitive and nothing stood out. The fried rice was probably my favorite dish. The barbecue dishes all tasted similar and the mushrooms were sadly quite soggy and under seasoned.“

Tried a few items, all had an above average rating for me. My 5* worth review is for the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. The meat was very tender and succulent. Price to dish ratio is average with a lot of their items priced higher, but also they have a very nice ambience and the best part is the ease of placing an order per table basis by just scanning the QR code where every individual can add their own times collectively for the table. A very convenient and innovative idea which I would absolutely love for all the restaurants to have, so a big kudos to them for implementing this technology.“

Brought my family to dine here for our final meal in Boston and everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The clay pot rice would take some time to cook (which is normal) but the other dishes were served pretty fast. Restaurant wasn’t loud, we enjoyed some OG Cantonese songs in the background, and overall the service was 10/10.“

“Great Asian and Chinese restaurant for takeout. We decided to try it for dinner and got the Pad Thai and Pupu platter for 2. The food was excellent and very generous portions. They forgot the Crab Rangoon, but they asked me to come back and they had it waiting. Great service, friendly staff, and excellent food. What else can you ask for. This is a takeout out restaurant only. It has good vegetarian options and I would recommend trying it. 👌“

“It’s exactly as you expect. Quick, flavorful & at a good price in a hole in the wall environment. Recommend the tomato based broth with sirloin. The bbq tripe skewer was great in flavor & crunchy texture. The bbq sausage felt like it was missing a flavor (maybe ginger or just cooking it longer to char/carmelize?) to complete it. The wife also says the tofu skin is wonderful.“

You can get protein by the pound, half ir whole duck/boiled chicken. Or yiu can get rice dishes, lo mein or noodles soup with protein of choice, which comes with some Napa cabbage. There a few booths for dine in but with limited street parking, we have only done this a handful if times.“

My family and I have been going here for years, as other local Chinese restaurants have fluctuated in their quality and pricing.
