“This is the best Chinese spot in Braintree! They are very small for dining but their food is BIG in flavor! I personally recommend their Pu Pu platter! Great service and they are super nice in substituting if you have an allergy. We go NOWhere else for Chinese takeout! 🥡“

“I couldn't rate the atmosphere, it's a take out place. But I have been going here for years. The food is amazing, you walk in and see the kitchen, it's immaculate. Also when I go in they always remember I like extra sweet and sour sauce. It's a hidden gem in Braintree.“

“One of the freshest, crispiest, and tastiest dumpling place in Boston. Their soup dumpling is fresh and packed with umami soup. The Shanghai pork buns all have a crispy bottom with soft dough and flavorful pork stuffing. Their hand pulled noodles are also fresh with lots of veggies and the portion size is very generous! Lit will come back!“

“Very small and tucked away; but an absolute gem!! I ate here for the second time today with my mother (a pescatarian) and there were plenty of options for both of us. We personally recommend the fried rice options, but anything is good! Staff were very welcoming and friendly, service was pretty quick. Got a milk tea to go afterwards and it’s a 10/10 as well. Pricing is very fair and portions are large; If ordering a main dish, expect to either share or bring home more than enough for leftovers!!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian options present on all sections of the menu.“

“I’ve never had skewers bbq before at a restaurant and this was an excellent experience to introduce me to the cuisine. The meats were so well seasoned. I was so happy with everything I got and our service. Honestly, I dreamt about the Mongolian skewers and cucumbers. SO GOOD!!!“

“Very very delicious and comforting. Real deal. Considered dropping a star for slow service but in retrospect I think Head of the Charles this weekend just made everything a little more slow.
Lanzhou beef noodle soup was SO yummy words can’t even describe how the broth made me feel tbh. Lamb skewers were fatty and juicy and bursting with flavor. Mala tofu with preserved egg and rice was a great contrast to the other dishes — light and refreshing (also I love preserved egg with my whole heart). And the osmanthus flavor iced jelly? Slurp.
Picture included of plates made CLEAN.“

“Delicious food. Quick and friendly service. Sautéed clam with black bean sauce is a must to order- always perfectly sautéed. Best salted fish fried rice. I personally just do not prefer the smell of the restaurants when they happen to locate at basement. But happy with food and service!“

“The store was really pretty. After making our reservation, we were seated very promptly and got complementary water. The food was okay but some dishes were a little salty. The waitress was really nice and served us with a smile on her face!“

“It was our first time here. Sushi was great. Staff was also very pleasant. The restaurant itself was a very nice environment nice seating and lighting. The presentation of the sushi was amazing! It came in a beautifully designed boat steaming with dried ice and beautiful decorations! They had a pretty decent size menu. Absolutely going back.“

“The best general tso's I've ever had, and it's not even close. Perfectly crispy, a little spicy and the flavor is on point. Not to mention the portion size is very generous. I don't usually leave reviews but this place is incredible.“

“I recently dined at this restaurant and found the portion sizes to be more than generous, easily enough to satisfy a hungry appetite. I particularly enjoyed the chicken lo mein. The general gau chicken, however, was a bit too oily for my liking, and the egg rolls were rather bland in taste. I'm not entirely familiar with Chinese cuisine, so I'm unsure if that's how they are typically prepared, but it didn't quite suit my palate. On the positive side, the price point is quite affordable, and the restaurant offers decent seating for those looking to dine in. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price.
Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options“

“A very authentic little eatery. The curry fish balls with rice noodles are delicious, and the beef brisket clay pot rice is also excellent. We also ordered the coconut black chicken soup and pork liver. There aren't many seats. Parking is only available on the street.“

“Came here for the 1st time to celebrate my husband's birthday with a party of 4 adults and 4 kids and we were able to enjoy a delicious meal to accommodate all our tastes. Ordered some skewers nonspicy for the kids (chicken, pork sausage, chicken heart) along with egg fried rice and steamed dumplings which they really enjoyed. Adults enjoyed drinks and skewers along with cold wheat jelly salad and the eel with cucumber salad. The chicken and lamb skewers were the crowd favorite. Service was great as well!
Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is spacious and we had a party of 8 with 4 children (ranging age 2-7) and we were seating along the wall / bench on one side which worked great. They offered high chairs but we didn't need it. They also provided plastic plates and utensils and kid friendly water cups for all the kids.“

“This location is better than other Ten Seconds spots we've tried! The service was fast and efficient, making it a great place to grab a warm bowl of noodles on a cold day. The flavors were solid, but we wished there was a bit more protein in the bowl. It can be a bit heavy, but still satisfying.
Bonus points for having clean restrooms, which is always a plus. Overall, a good spot for a quick and comforting meal!“

“My friend and I took the trip up to Boston Chinatown! We brought 2 coolers and we planned to hit as Many places as possible and all the best spots this place was the last place on our list and my back and knee were about to break but it was soo worth it. The roast pork is amazingly juicy and succulent. The soy sauce chicken was tasty and perfectly seasoned. It was soo worth the walk!!! I really recommend coming here the price is reasonable compared to the rest of the places around here.“

“This hole in the wall is not pretty Inside, but they do have Cantonese/Hong Kong Style food. They are Cash only. We got the curry sauce pork on spaghetti and Beef stew & wonton soup. The service was decent. Don't have have expectations for service at any Asian places. Our food came fast, but getting our bill took time. They got pretty busy. The wontons tasted homemade and the broth was very rich in flavor. The curry sauce was thick and tasty. The pork was perfectly cooked. Overall, a good experience“

“The owners were very sweet and although the place is always crowded.
I tried the chicken and chinese sausage clay pot and it was okay. I would say it needed a little more seasoning and meat because it was mostly rice on the bottom, and the chicken was mostly bones. However, I would say it's worth a try! It's a cozy comfort meal on a cold day.“

“Best Chinese food in the Brockton area. But please don't take my word for it. Go try it. You'll never be upset that you did. ?
Parking: It's kinda a small parking lot. And it's on the corner at a light. So just be careful. Please !“

“I've been coming here for years and it's recently been SO much better to the point I had to review.
Their portions are awesome, food is hot and fresh. Don't go by the very few bad reviews... can't make all the Karen's happy.“
“Finally really good Chinese! Appetizers cooked nicely, rice old school-nice and dark and flavorful with a good amount of pork etc. egg foo young delish and excellent Marco polos delight. I ask for the this with pan fried noodle instead of soft and they were nice enough to package the noodle separately so they wouldn’t get soggy. We will be back!“

“This is not a dine in location, and I have only ever ordered for pick-up orders. With that said, this is the best Chinese food in the area and priced fairly. My family and I have been going here for years, as other local Chinese restaurants have fluctuated in their quality and pricing. I rarely have ever waited more than 10-15 minutes for my food to be ready, and I normally order at least a couple dinner combination plates. My go to is a Pupu platter for 4 and it’s always a crowd pleaser. The wife and husband who own the establishment are great, and they’re open later than any other restaurants in the area. Don’t change!“

“Liuyishou Hotpot delivers an amazing dining experience! The broth is rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of spice and aroma. Every ingredient—from the thinly sliced meats to the fresh vegetables—was high quality and beautifully presented.
The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to help with any questions, especially for first-time visitors. They made sure our table had everything we needed throughout the meal.
If you’re looking for authentic and delicious hotpot with top-notch service, Liuyishou is definitely the place to go!“

“If you want some real Cantonese Chinese food and roasted meat in Dorchester area, this is the place. If you are super hungry, the 3 meat delights will fill any stomach. Huge portions of meats on top of a container full of rice. Salt and pepper squid and porchop or shrimps with rice, fish and tofu with rice, and black pepper beef are some of my favorites. Everything is very flavorful. This place is takeout only since COVID pandemic.Cash only.“

“I saw Instagram reels about the shengjianbao here, and knew I had to try it. The price is indeed good -- 8 for $10 -- but it was pretty clear that these are machine made and likely purchased frozen. They taste a bit bready but do have some nice soup and flavor inside.
We tried a few things from their hot bar. The mapo tofu was nothing special. The egg and tomato had a strong sweet ketchup flavor and I thought the egg was quite tough, but my friend really liked this dish. The spicy chicken was pretty good.
We also got the beef malatang and it was pretty good! The tofu skin was a bit undercooked, but otherwise the ingredients were good and the soup had good flavor. It's not the best malatang you'll have, but at $12, it's probably one of the cheapest.
Overall this place is great value, but I would personally rather pay more for food that I like more.“

“Cool old theatre converted to a restaurant. Food was middle of the road. My main complaint is you dont know what things are when you buy them. If they could add a simple description of what youre buying it would make the place much better. Ended up tossing half the stuff we ordered because we didnt know what we were buying. Oh well.“

“Exactly the Americanized Chinese food I was looking for. Beef and broccoli was my favorite. Very solid pork fried rice. Peking ravs were the fried kind that are drier on the outside- not my style but still juicy and tasty inside. Crab Rangoon was crispy and delicious but abandoned any thought of crabbiness.“

“The crab rangoons were delicious! Just the right amount of crispness, not oily, great size and great taste! The boneless spareribs were great as well! Tender and full of flavor! The fried rice wasn't to bad. It had a good amount of veggies just needed a little more flavor, but I would buy it again. Also let me not forgot the the portion sizes are huge! My food came out and fresh from Uber eats!“

“I absolutely love this place. It's everything I grew up with in my hometown's hood (from Oakland, California): hearty, working class, Chinese fast food. Yeah, it's quantity over quality—but don't get it twisted. For a $5 combo, you can carb load and stack up your favorite protein or vegetable. Add a little extra, and for $7, double down and get twice as many toppings filled to the brim. Trust me. It's that good.
Cash only; no indoor seating, just two stools outside. Owner(s) is/are great because they can speak in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (maybe other dialects too). Buffet style; great when you're on the go. Pro tip: come early if you want your food piping hot. If you must arrive near closing, some dishes may be sold out but there's almost always leftovers to go around.
Moral of the story: Ding Ho's got some of the best, affordable, comfort food in Boston's Chinatown. Whether you're a college student looking to eat outside of a dining hall or in the workforce trying to eat on a budget (or anyone in between), please visit!! I definitely will.“
