“We were recommended Scoop N Scootery by a chef's wife who couldn't stop raving about their sundaes, and I have to admit, it was worth the trip. I'm not usually someone who craves ice cream, but my girlfriend is the opposite, so we had to check it out. The moment we walked in, Harry Potter was playing on the TV, setting a nostalgic and fun vibe right off the bat.
We went for their “Gannondorf” sundae, and it was a showstopper—blueberry ice cream, a brownie base, blueberries, pie crust, and a mountain of whipped cream. It was indulgent, and the quality of the blueberries and toppings really stood out. We’ve already ordered it again because it was that good.
They have an impressive lineup of ice cream and froyo flavors, plus even more tempting sundaes to choose from. My only wish is that they made the ice cream and toppings visible—being able to see what’s available always helps me get in the mood for a treat. The handwritten chalkboard menu is a bit hard to read and feels a bit overwhelming, especially with so many options.
It’s a massive space with very little seating, most of which are bar tops. It would be nice to have some lower tables and create more of a community atmosphere.

“Lazy Bear is the single greatest thing to happen to ice cream. I’ve made a hobby out of enjoying different local ice cream places in my travels and I can say that Lazy Bear is the best ice cream you’ll have. I personally suggest the entire menu!
Additionally, Nana Peach is a national treasure for creating hot fudge that good. Protect her at all costs.“

“This is hands down the best pistachio and strawberry ice cream I’ve ever tasted! The flavors are so rich and authentic, with a perfect balance of sweetness that truly brings out the taste of fresh pistachios and ripe strawberries. The cone was incredible – crisp, buttery, and freshly made, making it the ideal complement to the creamy ice cream. Every bite was a delight, and I honestly can’t praise it enough. Without a doubt, this is my favorite ice cream spot in Boston, and I can’t wait to come back!“

“i got richie,s slush for the first time this year, I was so excited!, but then i noticed i think richie's slush changed their recipe for their slush. it just dont taste the same. “Just like a regular ice cream shop, but happens to be vegan! The ice cream is just as sweet as Van Leeuwen, I’d say (so pretty sweet). I saw a review saying it tasted like there were bits of ice chips in the ice cream, but I didn’t get that at all… you can sample as many flavors as you like, too! They also sell vegan toppings to-go like hot fudge which was really cool! And they have a vegan ice cream cookbook for sale, and sell ice cream makers so, if you’re traveling to Boston like me, you still have potential to enjoy it at home too (with a bit more effort and commitment lol, and their cookbook is available on Amazon so if I ever get an ice cream maker, I’ll look into the cookbook haha).“

“The ice cream is above average. It can be a bit expensive though. Service is a hit or miss, sometimes you get a smiling and friendly cashier, sometimes you get the unfriendly one (I do turn around and leave when I get the latter). The space is kind of small so when it gets too crowded I have seen people eating their ice cream standing up, outside.“

“I have been going to JP Licks for years. I was telling the young lady who was serving us. That I use to come to JP Lick when I was in high school. And JP Licks was the only place that made me smile when I was happy, sad , mad or even upset. “Breakers is my preferred ice cream shop in Woburn even though I have another shop much closer. Ordering is efficient, orders are fulfilled accurately and quickly, and employees resolve any issues quickly and respectfully. Flavors are posted legibly and the variety of flavors is excellent. There is a parking lot, which is nice, and indoor seating and ordering which is helpful in the winter.“

“Pretty decent ice cream at reasonable prices. Even in a small, you can get two flavors. I got banana and chocolate peanut butter. Both were creamy (banana can get icy) and we t together really well. I wish the peanut butt was better mixed in though as some bites were just massive globs of peanut butter instead of ribbons.“
