“Our experience from the front door to leaving after dining was impeccable...staff, our waitress, the food ??, atmosphere, comfort and plenty of attention without hovering...the best waitress we've had in years...wish my older brain remembered her name but very tall, pretty & wearing bunny ears! Lindsay was a great bartender even though we had to wait for over 5 minutes before she came to the bar. Maybe having a meeting in back? “In April, we attended a wine dinner at the Pheasant with Patrick Cappiello,winemaker, of Monte Rio Cellars who presented his wines along side Executive Chef Andrew Reilly's most delectable dishes. “Our group of 4 visited the Scargo Cafe as newcomers, and the experience was even better than we had heard! First off, the Cape in early-March is practically shutdown for the winter, so finding an open restaurant is a challenge in itself. But not only was Scargo Cafe open, it was a quite filled with customers. Nonetheless, the service was prompt, friendly and experienced. Drinks orders were taken within a couple minutes and delivered soon thereafter (nice selection of wines and draft beers!). The menu had a wide diversity of choices, quite impressive. We ordered the special beef stir fry, grilled swordfish with rice/asparagus, and shrimp asian salad (w/ almonds+cranberries). Topped off by grape-nut custard (a house specialty). Everything was excellent and filling. Will certainly return when back to the Cape.“

The drinks were killer, the food was spectacular, and the vibe was perfect! The best lobster roll I’ve EVER had, hands down. Cruising along Sesuit harbor provided incredible views and special memories for us and our guests! The price was also totally reasonable and beyond worth it, our friends and family had a BLAST it was the perfect way to kick off our Wedding weekend. “A casual seafood shack and the food is exceptional: my favorite kind of places on the Cape. My mom was about to arrive on The Cape and we had had a long day so we decided to order takeout to have at the house so she could unload, unpack and we could all unwind. My brother found Cobie’s when he was looking places up, he ordered about 20min before my mom’s arrival time, they said it would be ready in 15 and it was. It was hot and fresh and since it was just down the road it stayed that way. Everything was tasty, tender and perfectly cooked. Wish I had gone to eat there again before leaving The Cape“

“The Beacon Room is a must do. We ventured upon The Beacon Room last year and had such a great experience that we talked about it throughout the year. We knew when we came back this fall we had to go again. The atmosphere is welcoming, restaurant is cozy and warm. The food.... Amazing. Staff.. amazing. In particular, Brian. We made early reservations for a hi-top (definitely make reservations). We asked if the bar was available when we arrived and it turns out it was.. which is what we hoped for. We had such a great experience with Brian last time, so this was a great surprise. Brian is attentive, personable, listens and very knowledgeable of cocktails and food recommendations. He interacts with customers, knows what they like.. all while handling a full bar. You can also share with Brian what you're thinking of ordering and what appetizer might pair up well with that. He's spot on, too! This year we had the Burrata app.. amazing. Lovely toasted bread with garlic, greens and fresh cherry tomatoes. We ordered the duck (as did I last year) and the NY strip, rare. Both came with the phenomenal Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Absolutely fantastic. We each ordered dirty martinis , which were delicious and made perfectly. We will definitely be back next year and will continue to highly recommend The Beacon Room. If you are visiting the cape, we highly recommend you add this gem to your places to visit. You won't be disappointed.“

“The Thanksgiving buffet was a cornucopia of dishes. Raw bar, carving stations, and a Macallan tasting station, to name just some. The food, the service and the ambiance was exceptional. Lastly, the chef and his staff ensured all patrons were satisfied. This was a Thanksgiving to remember!“

“Service was excellent. Table for 4 in quiet nook of main dining area. Excellent drinks. Duck confit appetizer with pecan/pear/beet salad made an excellent dinner. “We recently stayed at the Orleans Waterfront Inn for a wedding. The hotel is centrally located and a good launching spot to explore the outer cape. The view of the cove from our bedroom was lovely and the wedding reception/ festivities were also great. Everyone working at the inn was very friendly and more than accommodating. The rooms were also clean and comfortable.“

“Wonderful restaurant....with a large bar area in a separate area.We split a large ceasar salad between 3...it could have fed 4 or more.Scallops were plentiful...Lamb chops were seasoned perfectly....over white beans....and the asparagus was cooked perfectly as well.The steaming bowl was full of seafood over a small amount of pasta. The broth was exceptional as was the service.“

“This restaurant has one of the best owners I’ve ever met in any business on Cape Cod. My wife ate here recently with our kids and her brother. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. My wife lost her wallet and she believed it was here. The owner helped me try to find it after I got out of work. We went through everything trying to find this. He also checked the cameras upon request and Was very helpful which lead to us finding it at the location beforehand.I highly recommend this place.“

“Great seafood market - Helpful staff. Large variety of fish. We ordered the seafood sausage to go - amazing. Casing was a little tough, but will remove it next time I cook it. The sausage, I believe, was filled with shrimp, scallops and fish. Excellent. They also offered a couple different breads - the multi grain was also excellent.“

“I was there with my MA family for Easter dinner and we were all very satisfied with the atmosphere, service and food!Three of the adults ordered off of the Easter menu, one from the Tavern menu and the 3 kids got the chicken fingers and fries. I was the only one needing a to go container for the rest of my risotto, and that was after the other 3 adults tried it! There was a lot of risotto and I was happy to take it home for later!Vegetarian options: I opted for the vegetarian risottoKid-friendliness: 3 boys under 12 and they had a great time with crayons and their yummy food!“

Inhad the Turkey Stuffing melt with Mac & Cheese. It was excellent, some of the best turkey I've had eating out.My husband had the Cape Cod Rueben, which was filling for him and tasted great.The service was great, I was surprised by how fast our.food came out after ordering.Over all, we both agreed it was a great choice on our day trip.“
