Great menu; this place has something for everyone! Prices are reasonable; generous portions. Our only negative was the loud music (not live) coming from the bar. We were in an adjacent dining room and the volume was too much!! Can't imagine sitting in the bar area and trying to have a conversation with someone. I will definitely be back to Moonfish. Wonderful addition to the area!!“

“overpriced and gave out raw "fried" scallops. we used to go out of our way to come here on our cape visits but now we will go out of our way to avoid. prior to my raw plates being given to me, i had an interesting interaction with the teenager on the outside register when I tried to order inside. I am doubting the coincidence in raw food after dealing with her attitude. Given the the young kid who had been yelling out the orders, leaned in & said to her prior to hollering my name.. "hey that order is going out"...... i was waiting inside which is why i noticed his lack of communication with her for ALL the other orders leaving, except for ours. When I spoke with the.. man.. in charge, nonchalant backwards hat guy, he didn't seem to care about the interaction nor the raw $35 platter. when i walked back to have them remake it, the plate i recieved back had less food then the raw one i handed them. one less family spending money 🤷‍♀️“

Not sure what can be done about this due to the particulars of the space, but it was difficult for three of us to carry on a conversation without talking really loudly, which we didn't find pleasant. Otherwise, this restaurant deserves the fine reputation it has earned.“

“We had dinner at The Pheasant, the service was warm and professional, the surroundings were intriguing and welcoming and the food….. the food was thoughtful, creative, and downright delicious. It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! On the bad news, Debbie at bar was abrupt, not friendly and a disappointment from what we are use to. On the very good news, CJ was fantastic. Personable, quick, friendly and knows how to interact with customers. We hope it’s all good news next time.“

The food was amazing across the board... the service was charming (thank you, Duet!) and the desserts were awesome too. (Try the Sandbar - a concoction of Graham cracker, chocolate, Reese's and vanilla ice cream that is just out of this world. Two giant thumbs-up - we'll definitely be back!“

“We made our reservation 5:30 the day before b/c when we went on Friday evening there were no tables available. My husband ordered the grilled octopus for an appetizer, he said it was a little tough. Katy our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. She had brought us dinner rolls but they were too hard to eat. I explained that to her and she politely removed and brought us freshly baked rolls which were perfect. I ordered the Chatham pan-seared Scallops w/ risotto & lobster chunks w/ asparagus. It was absolutely delicious! It was very tasty and flavorful. The scallops were tender and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the Portuguese Paiaya which also was awesome!! It had an assortment of sausage, seafood, clams, shrimp and chicken too over rice and delicious flavorful broth. We completed our meal with a yummy hot apple crisp. Just about everything we ordered was very good. The atmosphere was quite noisy. Otherwise we both had really good meals and will most likely return again.“

Maybe the staffing was difficult at times during Covid, but they always tried their hardest and we were very happy. And the food is always delicious. We love to come here, and not only feel lucky to be able to, but also feel fortunate to bring family members and friends who have enjoyed and love the restaurant too.“
