We tried the crudo, yellow fin tuna, grilled octopus, sea bream and branzino along with delicious white wine. “We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. “we had a wonderful experience all around on a busy Sunday. The manager, Russ, greeted us with a warm smile, setting the tone for a great evening. we sat outside and Jorge F, took great care of us. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious. Russ was leading his team through a busy shift but was able to make time to ensure everything was just right. The best in the Seaport.“

“Came here for the matchbooks which were at the host table and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food! The corn bread with honey whipped butter was DELECTABLE !!! The truffle Parmesan fries were okay but tbh could do with out the truffle add on. Also ordered the lamb ribs and oysters which were good. The waiter was so kind and friendly and helped me make a custom lemonade cranberry drink. We sat outside and the vibes were incredible. Would recommend !“

A special thank you goes to our server, Bruno, who was absolutely amazing. He made us feel so welcome right from the start and attended to our table frequently throughout the evening to make sure we were having a great time. The food was sooo good. We started with a variety of appetizers, including the calamari and oysters, which were delicious. For my main course, I had the steak au poivre medium-rare, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious.

For sides, we shared the asparagus, truffle fries, and the lobster mac and cheese which was the best mac and cheese any of us have ever had! And I don’t even like lobster!

“We had a party of 7 and were seated in a semi-private area, near the entrance, behind the host table, which was very convenient for conversation. The food was very good, we tried many different plated from the tapas (crispy potatoes and the sliders were the highlight). We made sure to order the 2 paellas early, because they did take some time to cook. The seafood and the rib paellas were fantastic. We were very lucky to have a great server, she checked in on us often and kept our drinks refilled. The overall experience was excellent for our first time and we would recommend Boqueria to our friends“

“Possibly the best chowder/seafood spot in Boston. I’ve been going here since I was a kid when my dad would take me to Celtics games. We’d always get chowder and oysters before. The food has not changed and is always as flavorful as ever. When I’m at school I come here at least once a week cause it’s my favorite spot. I also have spent half my life in Maine so I know a thing or two about seafood. Come to this place!“

“My first vist and loved it. One of my favorite Chinese food i ever had. Also had good choices for me as a vegitarian and my friend good meat options. My friend thought there food are little bit more oily but we liked it. Some food items were spicy which we loved.

Since we went for early dinner around 330 on Sunday, it was not too crowded and got our food pretty quick.“

“My husband and I stopped by here for after dinner drinks and had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar. The bartender Juan was knowledgeable and let us try a variety of port and Maideria wines. It was a great experience and we felt like we were in a wine tasting in Portugal. He was very attentive and made the experience phenomenal. The ambiance was also very nice. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone in the area and don’t sleep on the Port wine!“

“We bought tickets for the Sail Boston 2026 parade of sale (7/11) and I was not exactly thrilled we were not allowed to go up stairs to the rooftop section to watch the parade. It would have made the cost of the tickets much better if the pier was closed to non ticket holders, but I understand it's not a private pier. Service was outstanding!“

“If I could give an extra star for service I would! When making the reservation, the restauant was told that someone with celiac would be dining. The first time the waitress approached the table, she asked who is celiac and talked me through their menu and protocols. I felt completely comfortable eating here as they were very knowledgeable and take precautions seriously. There is also a dedicated GF fryer, yay! I had the thai coconut cod and it was wonderful! “500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“
