“My favorite hand roll place. Overall great food and speedy service. The handrolls are super fresh and come out quickly so everything stays fresh and flavorful. We ordered salmon mango, foe grais, miso butter cod and spicy scallops and all of them are really good. Highly recommend the spicy scallops. Our server Stelle are friendly, efficient, and keep things moving without rushing you. Easy spot for a really satisfying meal.“

“The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice, but the waitress with red hair, who wasn't Asian and was wearing a Harley Davidson bomber jacket, was very rude. She had a judgmental and unhelpful attitude while we were choosing our meals. She suddenly brought the check even though we didn't ask for it, as if she wanted us to leave.“

“We had the New Years Ever Omakase & it was everything we hoped. The head chef served every morsel, and each course was crafted with care and thoughtfulness. It really felt like we were bringing in the new year with the restaurant as we shared some "Kampai" moments with the chefs and other diners. Would highly recommend for a special night out.“

“such a good sit down poke spot hidden in a mini plaza. the owners were incredibly friendly and the service was a 10/10. it’s very cozy and comfy, and moreover the food was so good that i scraped my entire bowl clean. i wish i had a picture but i literally inhaled my bowl. i’ll definitely be coming back when i pop by the area again.“

“We got some good sushi rolls and for a very reasonable price, considering the area. I’m not entirely sure what the theme/aesthetic they are going for is in terms of interior decor but that doesn’t take away anything really. It’s a neighborhood joint so don’t expect a fine dining experience. But it’s good food, nice people, and decent prices. Will definitely go back!“

“Service was sufficient, polite & speedy. Atmosphere was intimate and a lil crowded. That said, the sushi was AMAZING!!!
I’ve eaten a lot of maki rolls here in Boston and thus far this has been that only the highest quality sushi, but the most aggressively priced!!
The chefs were also accommodating for substitutions, as well as some special requests (I have a shellfish allergy, so there are considerations that go with it) and again given how much I asked them I was still astonished at how quick that sushi rolls came out and just the overall quality of everything that were served to me.
Hands-down this is some of the best sushi in Boston! Can’t wait to come back with friends!!!!“

“This place is awesome. I avoided it for a long time because I thought it was just overpriced instagram-gimmicky items like donuts/tacos. Wrong. In fact, there is delicious sushi of all sorts at a great price. For something unique, try the salmon mini bowl, it's fantastic.“

“Don’t be fooled by the somewhat outdated interior and hole in the wall feel. The focus here is on the food!
Good quality fish, creative rolls, and efficient service. The price-to-value ratio can’t be beat. Tastes that much better with the reasonable prices. Note that you can tell the fish is not top-notch quality, but it hits all the right notes for an everyday sushi craving. Some rolls are more outstanding than others. My favorite so far was one that incorporated crunchy tempura bits into the minced tuna topping (forgot the name!).
We loved our recent visits so much that we’re getting platters from here for a holiday party. I’m pretty sure they’re going to be a hit.“

“What a cute restaurant with delicious food! It's a bit unassuming from the outside along a busy street, but Fin's has a bright, open atmosphere inside. We enjoyed lunch on a late Sunday afternoon and highly recommend the beef fried rice, Chirashi sushi bowl, and the tuna poke bowl. The poke bowl was a unique and deliciously fun surprise with strawberries, mango, and avocado. The bowls came with miso soup, and everything was fresh and yummy. Great find in a busy neighborhood and close to 95.“

“This spot is my Arlington gem. The seafood is fresh and the portion is good. I always order takeout and the food is ready within 20’. I’ve tried another restaurant on Arlington’s top rated list and Umi remains my go-to.
My favorite is the kohaku don. The chirashi bowl and sake bowl are also fantastic. Pictures are takoyaki and sake bowl.“

“Mind-Blowing Culinary Experience at UNI Dining at UNI is nothing short of extraordinary. Chef Take's talent is truly remarkable, turning every dish into a masterpiece. The sashimi is unbelievably fresh, each slice practically melts in your mouth, showcasing the incredible quality and craftsmanship that UNI is known for. One of the standout dishes was the Foie Gras sushi with pop rocks and strawberry. The combination of flavors and textures was nothing short of genius—a perfect balance of richness, sweetness, and a playful pop that left me in awe. It’s a daring creation that speaks to Chef Take’s innovative spirit. My personal favorite, though, has to be the Toro topped with caviar. The buttery, luxurious texture of the Toro paired with the briny burst of caviar is an experience I won't soon forget. It's the kind of sushi that dreams are made of. The service at UNI is also top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and makes you feel like a VIP from start to finish. They are well-versed in the menu and make excellent recommendations, ensuring that your dining experience is seamless and memorable. UNI is, without a doubt, a dining destination that should be on every food lover’s bucket list. Chef Take’s talent shines through in every dish, making it an unforgettable experience.“

“My 8 and 10 year old and I LOVED eating in the restaurant and our whole family loves it as take out and delivery. In particular, my kids loved the ramen saying it's the best they've tasted. We all loved the sushi (SO fresh) and I particularly loved giving the Sushi Chef (who I hear is a master who would love to practice his craft creatively off menu when given the chance :) my loves, preferences and any dietary constraints and he just surprised us w/delicious stuff of his own creation. It's become our favorite!“

“First time at Symphony Sushi. I live in Dorchester, so it was quite the drive, however I heard some raving reviews of the place. Parking is limited, as I went for lunch on a Monday it was Meter Parking only I was lucky enough to find a meter right in front of the restaurant. The decor is unique and the music is quiet and enjoyable. We were greeted and sat at a half table half booth. The restaurant was not busy at all as we were only one of three tables. Our server bought over some waters with no greeting at all. After a while of browsing through the menu and researching our questions on it alone we had to grab her attention to place drink orders. We ordered Sake, spicy edamame, tuna tempura maki rolls, seaweed salad, and seafood miso soup. After a while our sever did come over to ask if everything was okay, we said yes and ordered the Redsox maki rolls which has to be the best maki I have ever eaten. Just when we were ordering the sushi chefs all sat down for lunch as did the person who greeted us and even our own server was eating just a few tables away from us. Our RedSox rolls were so delayed we were about ready to go once it arrived since one chef finally got up to make it. There was a sign that says you get a mystery gift for giving a review when I asked on the way out the greeter just handed me a bucket and told me to pick a packet. It was a cute little cat , I’ve posted pictures for you to see. All in all the food here is marvelous but the service leaves a bad taste in the end.“

“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. “Visited this jazz and Asian restaurant for first time. Food was great with a wide selections of sushi, soups, and fusion dishes. The service was fast and very effective. The main addition was the four piece local jazz band. All four musicians were enjoyable to listen to and played a wide array of selections and styles.
Next time in Boston I will try to visit the Mad Monkfish again.
Enjoyed the wide mix of people. It's great how music bring people together.“

“Sushi Man is a restaurant with a long history in the Newton area, first being located in a smaller area right off of Route 9 before moving to their current location a few years ago.
The staff are really friendly and make the food quite quickly, reminds me of the service we used to get in the past.
The food was of good quality and how I remember it. It does tend to be on the expensive side for these meals, but was still pretty good and tasted well. The sushi was fresh, with good rice to fish ratio and presented well. The udon had a good broth that went well with the noodles, and had some toppings and sides that were crisp and tasty.“

“This was our second time dining at Ebi Sushi, and just like our first visit, everything was fantastic. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared every time. Our server, Amanda, was wonderful friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. It’s service like hers that really adds to the experience. Jose, the owner, has truly outdone himself with this place. You can tell he takes great pride in what he’s built from the quality of the dishes to the amazing team that brings it all together. We’ll definitely be back again before the new location opens, and we’re looking forward to visiting that one as well. Ebi Sushi has become one of our favorite date night spots consistently great food, great people, and a great vibe. 🍣❤️“

“We have ordered takeout from Wasabi multiple times a month for years, and the food is consistently delicious and high quality. The rice is tender, fish is fresh, tempura is crunchy and not greasy, avocado is perfectly ripe, spicy rolls are not overly stuffed with panko. We used to live down the road, but even after moving 15min away we can’t find any place that beats Wasabi - it remains our go to!“

“Kenzoku Mazesoba is a great eatery for comforting, brothless ramen (mazesoba). The interior is bright and the staff are accommodating.
The meal started with three warm Kurobuta sausages that were topped with pickled red cabbage and a mustard-based sauce over fresh greens. Overall, a well-rounded appetizer with a nice balance of textures, richness, and acid.
Next, the torched Hamachi roll had fresh fish slices laid on a roll and then torched. The hamachi was then topped with black tobiko and complemented with fresh ginger and wasabi. The roll was light and tasty.
The Yuzu Shio Ramen was the standout and featured braised pork chashu and a delicious poached egg. The medium-bodied noodles were a pleasant to chew with the toppings.
The vegetable mazesoba (vegan) included tofu soboro, mix of corn, quinoa, red pickles, and other goodies. It was a lighter flavor and we appreciated the opportunity to order the truffle oil on the side.
Overall, recommended for a casual and pleasant dinner among family and friends. The food quality and atmosphere make this hidden gem a great choice.“

“We made reservations online for the Omaska. It was $300 which broke down to $120 per person with tip and tax. The tables were perfectly space out. They gave us a 2 hour limit which was enough time for the 12 course Omaska. Presentation on everything was amazing. Each course was fresh and delicious in their own way. It was hard to hear the man over his mask so I couldn't get any names. We had uni, tuna belly, scallops, and more. All the Courses were small but packed with favor. You can take there was attention to detail in the ingredients and presentation. Definitely, worth the money was a special event like a birthday. Would definitely come back“

“The Korean twice-fried chicken is a great deal. For $8.25 I got 4 gigantic pieces of boneless chicken. They are really tenders and not normal boneless wings sized pieces. They are very crunchy. The soy garlic sauce doesn’t seem to stick as much as the one at Crave.
I was impressed with their presentation for the seaweed salad. It justified more the slightly high $8.50.
Minus one star because the omelette nigiri was not good.
Service is laid back helpful. This time the employee pointed me to the ordering screen to see pictures of everything.“

“Came here to try the new bubble tea line. The new favors were brown sugar, ube milk, Thai milk and matcha milk . We also grabbed the Fenway special and spicy Hawaiian. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The drinks were all Delicious. They came with matcha boba balls and brown sugar boba balls. My favorite definitely the ube milk. The Fenway Special was so spectacular. All the ingredients just went well together. The spicy mayo was definitely clutch on it. The spicy Hawaiian was a well balance of flavors and textures. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny for the quality. Definitely, will be back to get my poke bowl fix.“

“One of the best cocktail bars I’ve been to in Boston.
Walked in on a Saturday evening around 8PM without a reservation. We were able to snag a table without a wait, but the place filled up pretty fast. Just like some of the best cocktail bars in the city, this spot knows how to weave savory notes into their drinks without overwhelming them. Almost everything we tried was excellent. Refined, inventive, and layered (except for Bangkok to Mumbai).
Kingston to Milan – Our favorite of the night. Essentially Negroni + passionfruit, but with a surprisingly creamy, savory finish. The smoothness likely came from Castelvetrano olives (with that signature mild and buttery note), but it almost evoked the yogurt-based cocktails that were once trendy in Seoul.
Amalfi to La Paz – A close second. Not a typical tomato-basil cocktail. Instead, the sweet basil cream and cacao combined into a rich, nutty, and savory aftertaste. It gave espresso martini vibes but with subtle vegetal undertones from the tomato.
Rio to Tokyo – In the same flavor family as Kingston to Milan, but with a milder savory profile. Notes of miso and coconut gradually emerged, which made it more interesting toward the finish than the start. Grew on me with each sip.
Bangkok to Mumbai – Seemed to be the most popular order around us, but the trio of mango cordial, jackfruit, and Calpico created an overly sweet, one-dimensional drink. No balance, no clarity, just an overpriced mango juice.
Lemongrass Chicken Dumplings – Solid bar snack. Nicely perfumed with lemongrass, but the chicken filling wasn’t very prominent. With only four snack options on the menu, this felt like the safest pick.“

“Other than the cafeteria being full on weekends, this place is my favorite. They cook very well and ingredients are fresh. I order the bento and the level of detail is phenomenal. this is the tastiest food I've ever had and will always be coming here as long as I'm alive. The prices keep going up so I hope they calm down. The best time to come is during the week.“

“Pros - It's an fantastic dining experience. You will be amazed by the chef's delicious and inventive flavor combinations. The foie gras course the end of the dinner will haunt your dreams. Con - you will never want to eat sushi at any other restaurant. Every bite will have you thinking "sure, this is fine, but it's no Akame."“
