“After a swim meet, we always head to ice cream. This place ed highly recommended. It had lots of flavors as a base - and two size cups. It had lots of fruit, cookies, bites, sprinkles, and wet toppings. And you pay by weight. I highly suggest stopping by.“
“Great selection of yummy ice creams! The prices were pretty good and they had options other than ice cream too. The interior is super cute, but the seats up in the front window are a little dingy. Overall we loved our visit!
Parking: There’s a paid parking lot right next to it, but the parking meter didn’t work. We parked without paying but nothing bad happened on a weekend day.“

“JP Licks is a long standing Ice cream chain throughout the Boston area.
Staff scoop quickly, Ice cream is fresh and tasty. The ice cream is on the expensive side, but is rich in flavor, a bit sweet but not overly sweet, and has a great taste.
They have soft serve options as well as yogurt available, and there are many flavors available for ice cream as well.“

“Best donuts in the area! Their donuts are incredible in flavor. They’re light, fluffy, and delicious - my kids request them every week! Our favorites are vanilla glaze, everything donut, and the Apple fritter. Sometimes they have savory tarts which are SO good. We especially love the pride donuts they have every June. Blackbird employees are always so friendly and welcoming as well, which is also appreciated. Blackbird also delivers through DoorDash, and the donuts are always delivered fresh. The Newton location does not have a bathroom, fyi but that does not detract from the amazing food! Thank you Blackbird for being such a wonderful addition to our community!“

“I carpool with Zach to my soccer practices. We share apple slices and Dirtitos but sometimes Zach has bathroom emergencies and we giggle. This is Zach. Zach is my best fwend and I hope the ice cream truck goes well. I will come to the ice cweam truck soon to buy SpongeBob popscle. Im wooking forward to seeing you soon.“

“The staff, service and food were all exceptional. The atmosphere is relaxing and the menu is very interesting, especially the cocktail menu. The presentation of the food is impeccable and the staff is very attentive, making sure the water is filled and that the check is ready when we were finished. A perfect balance and what every restaurant should strive to mimic. A must try if you want to find a place that is unique. Thanks to the staff for a fun evening.“

“i got richie,s slush for the first time this year, I was so excited!, but then i noticed i think richie's slush changed their recipe for their slush. it just dont taste the same. I dont know if it was do to covid? But I do know it dont taste the same. It tastes more like a sherbet or sorbet. but its definitely not slush. so dispointed! #richie'slush“

“This is the best ice cream spot in Boston. All the employees there are super friendly, super accommodating, and always have a smile on their face! I go here regularly and the ice cream is fantastic. I absolutely love their Strawberry Cheesecake, coffee Oreo, and chocolate PB I think it’s called. 10/10 recommend you go and give them a shot! They won’t disappoint.“

“OMG, a hidden local gem. Amazing ice cream and very cute little candy store. Has the historical feel. I bet it will bring nostalgia to some people. The Matcha strawberry ice cream was one THE best Matcha I've had. The pistachio had real pistachio in it that you actually chew the nuts. The pecan maple syrup was disappointing. Just tasted bland. Unfortunately you can only try two flavors before making the selection (and I went for pistachio and pecan maple) so I couldn't try others. Price is really recent for the amount you get. Please be mindful that these ice cream contain ALCOHOL though, and there are limited non-alcohol options. Planning to come again to try their other sundaes and tea/ice cream floats. Would highly recommend!“

“This place is great!! The staff is awesome and always soooo kind. Never had a bad experience here and never will. This place is reasonably priced, moves the line quick, and most importantly has THE best Richardson’s ice cream. My favorite is the peanut butter oreo! Not just dog friendly but dog lovers! The girl who took my order loved my dog and even told me that they can have soft serve vanilla! Now me and my dog can get a tasty treat from this amazing shop!“

“In a city with so many well regarded ice creameries, Lizzy’s deserves way more credit than it gets. The ginger flavor here is absolutely incredible (one of the best scoops in the city IMO), and pairs amazingly with the chocolate orgy or Colombian fudge avalanche (both well worth eating on their own).“

“I have been going to JP Licks for years. I was telling the young lady who was serving us. That I use to come to JP Lick when I was in high school. And JP Licks was the only place that made me smile when I was happy, sad , mad or even upset. “A New England institution - high quality ice cream in a rotating variety of flavors, available in cups or cones, with or without toppings. Recommend the Chocolate Fudge Brownie or Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz for an afternoon pick me up. Spoons are more eco friendly wood these days. Outdoor seating available on North side of the building.“

“Pretty decent ice cream at reasonable prices. Even in a small, you can get two flavors. I got banana and chocolate peanut butter. Both were creamy (banana can get icy) and we t together really well. I wish the peanut butt was better mixed in though as some bites were just massive globs of peanut butter instead of ribbons.“
“I just bought some of this because I'm trying to lose weight but I still want a treat. I'm eating the lemon Italian ice right now and it is one of the best things I've ever had in my life.
