“This is the place if you want to get cheap Chinese food made in the 1980's style. Definitely not fancy. You find any modern or exotic dishes here, but if you just want some old-school appetizers, fried rice, chow mein, etc. This place is worth a try.“

“We have a new office in Boston. So periodically I drive down from our main office to the Boston location and every time I do, I have resolved to try a new restaurant. This was today’s choice and it was SPECTACULAR! My server was fantastic. The food came out quickly and was insanely good. I didn’t know how big my stir-fried rice cake bowl would be so I ordered the sweet and sour pork loin to go with it. But the rice cake bowl was huge and tasted incredible. Lots of heat, lots of fresh prepared veggies and meat. 10/10 would recommend that dish. The pork tenderloin I tried and 10/10 would recommend it as well. The location is a bit small and that is literally the only nit I can pick. If you’re in this area, get some take out or eat in , you won’t regret it!!“

“I go here at least once every two weeks. It's the only decent Chinese place in the immediate area. A couple favorites are the spicy fish fillet stews with wood ear mushrooms and bamboo, and the pan fried noodles. The staff is really nice and the restaurant is bright and welcoming.“

“Delicious and reasonably priced! The high was the gluten free menu which made it simple to know exactly what I could eat (they also have gluten free soy sauce). Waitress answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable eating there with celiac disease!“

“I came here with my family and got to try a lot of things! Most dishes were above average. The salt and pepper calamari was particularly good, so we would definitely try more salt and pepper dishes next time. The Sichuan boiled fish fillet was also good.

The lobster with vermicelli was pretty tasty, but we would want to try the ginger scallion lobster next time for the bolder flavors. We were also sitting next to the lobster/fish tank, and it didn't seem that clean..

The dungeness crab with sticky rice was quite bland, unfortunately. The shrimp with snow peas was decent but nothing special.

Overall we would probably choose items that have stronger flavors next time. The menu is huge, so there's a lot left to try!“

“I ordered two dishes and both had mild flavors that weren’t overpowering, making them enjoyable for anyone. I tried the Mapo Tofu and the thick noodles served with bok choy in a slightly spicy and tangy sauce. The noodles seemed to be handmade and had a great chewy texture. Even though I’m sensitive to strong spices and usually can’t handle heavily seasoned Chinese food, everything here suited me really well. I would recommend this place to anyone who prefers clean and well-balanced flavors.“

We ordered from the Chinese appetizers, entrees, and sides and were very impressed with the food quality and consistency. They were able to deliver to our address promptly - the food was still hot! “We went there Saturday afternoon. I ordered my usual, Chicken Subgum Chow Mein and boneless spareribs. The waitress was very nice but limited in the English language. Therein was part of the problem. I did not get what I would consider my usual. It looked like Chop Suey . Not what I am used to. I sent it back and received pretty much the same thing on the second try. The boneless spare ribs were very fatty and not like the ribs I received on prior visits. Also the Duck Sauce seemed to be "watered down" with very little taste. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience this time. Hopefully it will be better next time.“

“Ronald Coleman I agree with everything above. Sunrise House is my go to Chinese restaurant. Takeout service is excellent, the food is the best and is always hot when I get home (15 miles away). Love their General Gau's chicken combination plate with pork fried rice and a appetizer of boneless spare ribs--all for a price of $13 +tax. It is enough for me to have 2.5 meals of great eating. Pick up is easy because you can park in a spacious lot. When you go inside you can see and smell the delicious food being cooked in an immaculate kitchen. The interface with the workers is pleasant and quick. I go there an average of twice a month. Try it you will not be disappointed.“

“This restaurant is a no frills, fast food, take out restaurant. The neighborhood is Very Sketchy.If you know Dudley Station you will understand.
The benefits of this place is that for $10.50 a plate, you get 4 ( or 5?) selections.And they are generous with their portions.

Parking: The area is very busy with foot traffic. Finding parking is difficult. Try parking your car somewhere safe and walk over to the restaurant.“

“While searching for a good Chinese restaurant nearby, we came across Westwood Jade in Westwood, MA, and it did not disappoint! The food, prices, and service were all excellent. The pork fried rice was perfectly cooked, soft with no hard grains; chicken wings were tender and flavorful; ribs were just right—not chewy or hard; and the chicken lo mein was saucy, loaded with chicken, and not overly sweet. The crab rangoons were crispy, warm, and had the perfect filling.

They even included all the essentials—plates, utensils, napkins, sauces, fortune cookies, and hot sauce. Everything was spot on. 10/10 experience — thank you, and God bless!“

“By far the best chinese around. They blow away China Town a million times over. Always fresh, always frinedly and never experencied anything but fresh food here. This is the type of place where you know what you pay for is top quality and they are always open. Ming she is so friendly and happy the hospitality here is top notch. “Straight to the point comfort Chinese food at its best. We had take out trays for a party and we non stopped munched on each dish non stop for the duration of the celebration. We had pork fried rice which was addicting, the sweet and sour chicken and chicken fingers were on point on flavor and crispy! Not to mention the crab Rangoon wontons which we devoured within the first few minutes. Would definitely come back!“

I liked the pork in garlic sauce and celery with shrimp. I’m glad they wrapped the containers with plastic because the oil/sauces spill out of the containers during transit!“

“A hidden gem that opened last year and now our weekly go-to for Japanese - sashimi, sushi, ramen and poke bowls. The staff is very friendly and the owner, Anna, makes you feel so at home. The sashimi/sushi are fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. The cocktails are creative and well made - mai tais, pistachio martinis, you name it. The kids (and adults) enjoy various fruit teas/slushees with optional boba. They also offer Chinese and Thai food on the menu. Staples like beef teriyaki sticks, sichuan fried rice or tangerine beef are must haves and often added to our meals with lots of leftovers to go home with. Highly recommend Wasabi Asian Bistro&Bar to anyone looking for great Asian food.“

Their crab rangoons are some of the best (even better than some of the thai restaurants I like), the chicken fingers are always crispy and hot, and the chow fun noodles are always great. It is delicious, slightly different to how I had it growing up (we had it with black bean sauce). But this is just as delicious, not as bitter (slightly sweet) and not garlicky at all. It certainly satisfies my craving. Only negative is that it doesn't come with rice and one has to order that separately. Service is efficient, friendly and timely. I'll continue to come back again!“

The General Tso’s Chicken tastes so good, and the price is very reasonable — the combo is only $15.75 (about $16.85 after tax) with an appetizer included. Each order even comes with a free egg roll worth $2.80, and if you order more, they’ll give you extra Orange Chicken for free — delicious! Their tremella juice is also fantastic; I’ve never had anything like it at other restaurants. They said it’s a free treat for customers. Highly recommended!“
