“If I could give an extra star for service I would! When making the reservation, the restauant was told that someone with celiac would be dining. The first time the waitress approached the table, she asked who is celiac and talked me through their menu and protocols. I felt completely comfortable eating here as they were very knowledgeable and take precautions seriously. There is also a dedicated GF fryer, yay! I had the thai coconut cod and it was wonderful! Wish I lived closer, I would definitely go back.“

“I’m a picky one when it comes to eating fish. This little shop right under the Fore River Bridge is the absolute best spot if you want fish so fresh it is obvious that it is the day’s catch! The batter is perfectly light, doesn’t separate from the fish and the result is simply the best fried fish I’ve EVER TASTED! Do yourself a favor and check them out!“

“It might sound strange to some, but I want to thank SGD for having some of the best rice in the area. A lot of restaurants go for cheaper rice options to save on costs. SGD using better quality rice really does elevate the meal, and helps it stand out among other Asian dining options. Thank you for this attention to detail!

SGD is also my favorite Korean restaurant in the Quincy area. The clam 순두부찌개 (soondubu jjigae) is my go-to!“

The perfect venue for a baby shower for our son and daughter in laws baby due in March! Tracy and Janet were our servers and were above and beyond in friendliness and service! “The chicken with broccoli (which also had other vegetables like snow peas was very good. The other dinner we enjoyed was braised tofu with vegetables which I found exceptionally good and well prepared. There was more than enough portions for meals the next day.

“South Garden isn’t Just one of my favorite Chinese restaurants, it’s one of my favorite restaurants, period. I and my family have enjoyed this dining establishment for years. The food is classically Chinese, consistently delicious, with generous apportionment and competitively priced. Service is friendly, adequately providing what you need. If you enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, you will find this restaurant an excellent value.“

“The crab with glutinous rice here is to die for and the lobster with ginger and scallions is better than Boston Chinatown. Street parking can be difficult, so park in the Wollaston station parking lot and walk through the station. Though this is legit authentic Chinese food, they still offer sesame chicken for ABCs like me.“
