“Last night, we walked towards The Aviary's entrance surrounded by beautiful flowers and lots of hydrangeas. Magical. The restaurant itself did not disappoint as it too was absolutely lovely. The wait staff was superb. Nice and efficient and they got every order perfectly. We were delighted. However, the food left a bad taste for sure. We were served room temperature brussel sprouts that were not cooked! Calamari was overcooked and rubbery. Pasta dish was floating in oil!! Total disappointment. Sadly, this beautiful restaurant has not earned our repeat business.“

“Stephanie was an exceptional bartender—easily one of the best servers we've ever had. She was incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free options, which made a huge difference for us. Her attention to detail was impressive, from promptly changing out silverware between courses to keeping our drinks filled without us ever needing to ask. The food was outstanding! The carpaccio was the best we’ve had, and the gluten-free s’mores dessert was absolutely delicious—a perfect ending to the meal. The atmosphere had a great vibe with stunning views, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We discovered this small family restaurant a couple of years ago and it has become one of our favorites! The sea scallops are the best we’ve had anywhere ( so sweet and cooked to perfection). We’ve tried many of the menu options and have never been disappointed.“

“I had a birthday celebration at this restaurant. We sat near the cozy fireplace on a chilly night. The cheeseboard (varied cheeses, focaccia bread, honey, blackberries, nuts, jam, greens) and Pt. Judith calamari were beautifully presented. Excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio from Tuscany, Italy added to food, Staff was very accomodating. I enjoyed mussels, scallops, little necks over pasta in scampi sauce. Others had the salmon as well as the bolognese. It's a very roomy, quiet setting near the water. Staff came out to sing happy birthday with a luscious ice cream dessert with a candle on top. I was pleasantly surprised. We will return to this place for sure!“

“I recommend everything about this place - phenomenal restaurant. Service was top notch. Oysters were perfect and lobster rolls were huge - they say 8 ounces of lobster - had to be closer to 1 lb. On a Friday, got there at 8:30 PM (after the dinner rush) and had no wait for a table. Pretty much a perfect dining experience.“

I got the baked stuffed shrimp, it came with only four med size shrimp, very little stuffing, a small sweet potato and undercooked green beans. I usually cannot finish my meal, and I left hungry. I would give it another chance if in the area, but wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“I can only speak for the clam cakes which I found to be very good. They were a little small so they gave me extra. I have gone twice recently and both times they were out of stuffies. This is just after noon both times so you wouldn't expect that. The wait for the clam cakes was rather long too considering it takes five minutes to fry them. I will give them another try though.“

“Just came from Palmer River Grille, it's very nice inside and the food was excellent. My wife had a small issue with her meal (no need for details), the managers took care of it no problem, which they don't have to do, so I want to take this opportunity to thank them. Our waiter Derek was awesome! Just want to acknowledge everyone there, the wait staff etc. are very friendly, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food. “Really good Lobster Bisque soap purchased from a local supermarket here in NE PA. Backstory. I attended Endicott College back in the day and remembered sitting on rocks in Rockport with bunch of friends, enjoying the fresh, local seafood. 🍤 I recently noticed this brand while shopping and although pricey, I decided to try it for lunch today. The boil bag was easy peasy, enough for two bowls and like I mentioned to poster below, I purchased some RANA lobster ravioli that were void of any indication of lobster, although it was listed as second ingredient on packaging. I combined the two. What a delight with great flavor, thick broth and satisfying product. It’s what I purchased when your New England establishment is a distance away. It’s next best thing! 😋🦞“

We have lived in France for a total of 8 years between us and have often lamented that French restaurants in the US rely on reputation and overcharge for nothing special. Le Central's food was fresh, homemade and delicious. Clearly great care is taken in selecting ingredients, hiring staff and running a very interesting beverage program. Bravo, Le Central! “My boyfriend and I order from here almost every week! We love this place so much. I always get the same thing just because it’s that good! The chicken kabob dinner plate the chicken is always so so juicy and flavorful and paired with the rice and onion and peppers so yummy! My boyfriend gets the chicken tender dinner or sometimes he gets a steak and cheese calzone. The service is amazing and the lady is such a sweetheart ! Waitresses were always pleasant, polite and good humored. (Image the ribbing they took from 6 to 10 older men! Friday, 3/15/24 ,my wife, my sister, my nephew and I had the dinner special for 2. Each :Cup of Chowder, 2 Clam Cakes, Fries, and Fish. EXCELLENT in every sense of the word and good portions! “Took my toddler here Monday and my only regret with coming here is that we’ve lived in North Smithfield for several years and this was our first time coming! My son (almost 3) loved seeing the cows and trucks that were set up there. We went inside to get a snack and he started having a mini meltdown because he wanted to go back outside. An employee (wish I got her name) came from behind the register and gave him a couple stickers and told me I was doing a great job, which really means a lot when you feel like you’re doing something wrong as a mom. I appreciate that woman more than she realized! 💕 I ordered a cream puff and 2 chocolate chip cookies. When the employee from behind the counter handed me my box she let me know she gave us an extra cookie! The employees really were amazing. “Second time here, both occasions were good. Just went 3 days ago, great comfort food, especially their lunch menu. Beer was good, had a bunch of options for draft. Especially liked the buffalo chicken dip and chocolate chip cookie skillet. I had the bacon grilled cheese, it was pretty good although $15 is a little steep, but acceptable nonetheless. Nice location by the river and plenty of parking. Service was attentive and welcoming. I’d recommend eating here.“
