“All I can say is I love this Dunkin, the service is always great, and the food is delicious the lines may be long but they move fast. The staff there are nice and they do listen to your order when you talk you don't have to keep repeating yourself.“
“Moved to area a few months ago the coffee in has the best coffee I've tried within about a 30 minute radius and during my travels past few years. The service is also wonderful, as well as the food. Delicious pastries and tasty sandwiches. Love the variety of options from drinks to food.If you're looking for high quality coffee that offers much more with a great atmosphere for sit in, then this is the place. A wonderful local place ran by some wonderful owners.“
“This is absolutely the best coffee I've ever tasted! I had the Mardin blend and it was silky smooth and bursting with flavor! Turkish Coffee Lady was truly the highlight of my first visit to Old Town Alexandria and it will not be my last.“
“Overall a 10/10! I highly recommend Wee Bean! The flavor will hook you. The great part of Wee Bean is that they serve traditional coffee options but also coffee with a twist such as the Iced Neapolitan Shaken Espresso which will blow your mind on how great it tastes! Their bakery items are extremely good, I recommend the toasted Cheese Danish. Their hot coffee options can be ordered iced and I highly recommend the Snickerdoodle Macchiato it’s my go to drink at Wee Bean. Another major plus about Wee Been is that they’re pet friendly! They have dog treats and Pup Cups for your furry family members. I highly recommend Wee Bean!Parking: Lots of parking all around the building which makes it easily accessible.“
“Old Town Alexandria can be a tourist trap if you don't know where to go or access to the local-"in crowd" on where to go. I myself would confess to being a zombie tourist if it were not for all the crowd-sourced reviews and convenient map search features. This long-winded review intro is meant to steer you off-the-beaten-path, away from touristy stuff, and see what little shops lurk in the edges off *streets of royalty* ( ahem, I meant look at what's out there beyond King Street, Prince Street, or Duke Street ).And in the case of Casa Rosada Gelato, you would literally walk pass it given recent construction that forces the relocated front entrance to be hidden deep off some loading bay alley (the pictures says it all). The alleyway is almost 25 paces off the main street and there are no signs except for some Casa Rosada icon on paper taped to a plywood board where the front entrance would be. Had to band up with a visiting family of 5 to go gelato hunting for the front entrance. It's especially scary at night and yet so fun too given how dark the entire surrounding intersection block is with no cars or people in sight. But the gelato is good - way better than the throw-back-themed ice cream chain shops that promise to top sweetened air-filled cream (ie. normal ice cream) with rainbow covered sugar that's meant to distract you from all the air you are buying in your ice cream. With most gelato classic flavors available, we opted to go 'off-the-beaten-path' theme and go for walnut and madeira wine gelato. Tasting both flavors mixed was a symphony of flavors I doubt you can find anywhere else in this Old Town.“
“A very comfortable and well maintained spot to sit and chat or hang out with a bunch of kitties! The wine bar area downstairs is quaint and comfortable, without the staleness of corporate chains many coffee shops have. And their food and drink variety is wide and varied for a place of their small size, and fairly priced.I was only able to hang out downstairs this time because I didn’t have an appointment (make one online!) but I’d be happy to come back for either the kitties or the wine bar atmosphere.“
“I am visiting NOVA to house-sit for a friend while she’s on vacation, and needed a coffee ship while I’m here. I wanted to avoid the chains and go local. So I tried this one from a google search. INCREDIBLE. It’s so good and the bankers items are delicious. I have gone everyday since being here. They are very friendly and the line is long but moves very quickly. It’s just one of those fun little local things you have to try. I am hoping to move to DC in the next several months, and have this on my list of places to keep in my phone. 10/10!“
“I just love this spot for a quiet place to work or read, or a nice spot to meet a friend for coffee or a casual lunch.Last week I had the Chicken Tortilla Soup twice and it is delicious. I even brought a quart home! I also had the prosciutto, goat cheese and apple sandwich on a baguette which was perfect.I have had lattes there often and always delicious. This week I brought home the chicken enchiladas from the market and the beef bolgogi - each meal generously fed two of us and was so delicious. The staff is always helpful, kind and attentive.Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian salads, fruit and more for breakfast options.Parking: If there in the morning, always easy to find parking in front on South WashingtonStreet (going against traffic). Parking requires using the Park Mobile App.Kid-friendliness: Always a slew of strollers at Mae's!“
“If you’re in Old Town then you should definitely make your way here! Had the drip coffee which was delish but I shouldn’t have tried the boyfriend’s Nutella latte because it was HEAVENLY! Have to go back soon for that and another croffle! But that’s not all! This space is so well designed with a comfortable flow of energy, and great eclectic art or decoration everywhere you look! To top it off the staff is wonderful and helpful. So in house or to go is great because you can pop down a smidge on King to their art gallery Galactic Panther. ESP has a killer open mic night there which is what brought me out from the District initially but after coming out to see @mobofonemusic this past Saturday, I know it will become a place I visit regularly for lots of occasions!“
“Real Hawaiian coffee (you can ask for 100% Kona for a slight upcharge - otherwise it's Hawaiian blend) served up in a cool laid-back spot with all the good Hawaiian aloha! Had the Kreme de Kona iced and the Caramel Wave hot. All the usual alternative milks are offered. Guys - this is legit da kine ono coffee! Yes, the coffee is that good! They even offer real coffee ice cubes with their iced drinks so it doesn't get all nasty and watered down at the bottom. We also had the malasadas and a blueberry lemon cream cheese muffin - super tasty! Malasadas were especially delicious- soft and warm and covered in cinnamon sugar (this is what churros can only dream of being)!Servers are friendly and helpful. Service was fast even with a line. They offer an app for order ahead and to get points for future purchases.Parking is on street or in the city center garage. They're right next to the back of the AMC theaters.Wish they were closer but maybe a good thing they aren't because I'd be here every day!“
“I love everything about this place... The atmosphere is bright and airy, the staff very friendly, the Nutella cookie to die for, AND the commitment to US veterans is simply beautiful. I will definitely be back, and am telling my friends and family members about it.“
“We stumbled across this place for breakfast and were blown away. For a busy Saturday, the staff was so friendly. The coffee was delicious and the crepes were delectable. It’s a delightful cozy atmosphere even when you end up at the bar!“
“A must stop on Kings street, great coffee, solid baked goods, and fantastic service. Be prepared to stand in line as this place is popular, but with their quick service you'll only be in line long enough to decide what you'd like to drink. (Would recommend the coffee cake or croissant)“
“Excellent. The empanadas are very delicious and the Milanese sandwich too. The bills are very fresh, and even the coffee is very good. Also, very friendly and fast service. Araceli cooks very well and is also super friendly. Highly, highly recommended.“
“Due to the rave reviews, my husband and I stopped to check out this place before getting back to our state. I'm not a coffee drinker, but am learning about coffee and most, I do not like. It is true! Our café lattes are delicious and very smooth! This is one of only two coffee shops where I would return.“
“So happy to have a quality boba place close by and not connected to the mall! The location is super convenient and easy to get to. The staff is incredible and the drinks are delicious. The vibe of the shop is so good. I have tried a variety of drinks and have yet to have a bad one. I love how you can customize absolutely everything. 5 stars for BoBaPoP Tea Bar!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I went to this shop for the first time to get some holiday gifts. The staff person who met us at the door couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and the gifts were a big hit. There is an excellent variety of spices and teas for any occasion; I'll be back.“
“Food is good. I called and was informed in advance about the wait time, which was really appreciated (most places don't do that). The hostess even remembered me telling her I was omw to work, and she told me to have a great day at work, this was atleast 1 hour after my call. Its the small things that people remember to make another person's day special.“
“Amazing affogato and coffee. Love all the options for affogato too. The people working argued about some bathroom situation for the entire 20 mins we were at this coffee/gelato shop though and it was not quietly. We sat in the back room and still had to listen to a full on argument the entire “
“The malasada donuts are delicious, the cream filling is not too sweet and and it is so nice to have with a coffee. The staff are nice and there's plenty of space to sit and enjoy the decor. It is always incredibly clean and I love the music, it gives it such a fun coffee shop vibe.“
“Majdi was a great guy with amazing customer service. The owner is very friendly and helpful with recommendations. I tired the pistachios coffee and paired it with a dessert that had pistachios cream. The area is very clean and well design, great for insta pics!“
“Definitely a Hidden gem in the southern Maryland area. Since moving to the small town of Indianhead, I frequent this establishment quite often. The staff is always friendly, and I truly love trying out the "mystery lattes ". The owner is absolutely amazing, and is most helpful.“
“Most locals would include Misha's in their guide to Old Town. They've been beloved for decades, and their "new" space on King Street has given them a lot more space to serve as a community hub. Come telework, catch up with friends, or grab a bite between browsing all the great local boutiques. You'll be treated to friendly staff and the homey aroma of coffee roasting in the back.“
“I went back after months not coming because I felt like their boba teas wasn’t worth it. I recently order online for pick up and the boba tea is good, but I wish there were descriptions of what goes into the drinks in the case of an food allergy.“
“Love foxtrot!! Have tried several coffee shops in old town and foxtrot always comes out on top - great cappuccinos, lattes and matcha. Ordering drinks ahead on the app is super convenient and if you make an account, you get 1 free drink a month. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, there is lots of seating upstairs, and they have a well curated selection of snacks and misc food items.“
“Solid service, great drinks, I'm in here at least twice a week. I think their boba are about the best in the area, they're usually very fresh. When they didn't have something I ordered on the app once, the young man working the counter went out of his way to make me something I'd like as an alternative. My only complaint is how expensive they are.“
“A delightful little spot with great tasting coffee and a decent array of well-priced, tasty snacks, pastries and other non-coffee drinks. Great prices too, and very friendly service. There are also plenty of seating options, and I worked very comfortably on my laptop for a few hours. It’s right on a square so it’s very comfortable area.I only wish they had some gluten free or other allergen options for their food, though I understand that’s a relatively small market.“
“The pupusas and tacos are a must. They're probably some of the better tacos you can get around the Landmark area. I did order their Birria Fries, and I had mixed feelings. The meet and toppings themselves were delicious; however, the fries were soggy and actually cold. I would definitely have enjoyed it way more if it was hot and crispy.I've also had the Birria tacos and Birria ramen during another visit. I'd definitely recommend them!“
“This is one of the best pastry shops I have ever been too! Their coffee is quality and the baked goods are incredible!! It is worth the drive from Alexandria to little Hollin Hall any day of the week. Also, the staff is very friendly and efficient as the wait in line is never very long. You must visit here!“
“Everything about this place and location is 5 star. I love coming here. The food is always fresh and amazing and the atmosphere is just as amazing.Vegetarian options: As vegans we love this place.Parking: Street parking and parking garage right in front of store. I normally never have an issue finding a space at least with in a block of the store.“
“Great socializing place. A comfortable neighborhood coffee house on the grounds of St. Louis Catholic Church. Parishioners, and their friends can casually spend time after Mass or any time during the limited time the cafe is openThere is an outside patio and mom's can bring their children who enjoy the shady grass to play inThere is WiFi and users can "work", if they want while enjoying the great coffee and tea items, as well as, made from scratch hot breakfast sandwiches or greats muffins“
“My visit to Starbucks was great. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made for a pleasant ambiance. The coffee was as fantastic as always, and the consistent quality keeps me coming back. I wish they kept the Pumpkin Spice Latte all year long.“
“Good, solid breakfast sandwich, and I liked the customisability: you have a choice of bread (I chose the croissant) as well as a choice between American, cheddar and Swiss cheese. The pistachio latte was comforting, creamy and smooth. The pistachio taste however was quite artificial, reminiscent of almond syrup. The cafe itself is buzzy, and a nice spot to hang out.“
“- coffee is mad pretty well each time I'm here.- staff are friendly for them most part.- prices are normal for the area.- parking can be limited around here depending on time and day or holidays.- place was clean and organized.- overall not a bad experience.“
“I had NO IDEA that Krispy Kreme had an actual restaurant. With plenty of places to sit and enjoy your coffee and donuts. Watch the donuts coming down the conveyor belt and the entire process. The service was fantastic. The donuts were the best as usual. It was really nice to just chill and people watch. While stuffing my face with 3 donuts! And a frozen coffee.I highly recommend.“
“Staff is always nice and fast with everything, i come in at least once a week. Now and then I accidentally get cold foam but on my cold brew when i ask for cream but they always make the moment right for me and change it. I appreciate them taking out the extra time to make it how i like it. Again never had a bad experience at this store!“
“While I understand that this is meant to be more of a takeout situation, you can’t charge the same prices as your dine in establishments and serve reheated chicken.I placed my order online for chicken and sweet potato waffles, and it stated it would be ready in about 30 minutes within about seven minutes. I got a phone call this state that my food was ready. The chicken was not freshly fried. I’d rather wait a few minutes for some hot fresh chicken! I’ve been to milk and Honey and other locations several times and I found this to be pretty disappointing.“
“I like it when my coffee shops are abundant in selection and choices. For Five Coffees’ set up is pleasing to the eye and good for the soul in a place that is otherwise a pretty drab metro station. I’ve only been here a handful of times but from what I can gather is a well run establishment that is offering very yummy food and drinks at an elevated cost. Nevertheless when I’m in a pinch, I like to come here and enjoy the daily soup special, or a nice hot drink crafted in a no-nonsense place and plug away on my computer in silence. Lord I can use some chill music to ease the vibes here.“
“Doing a intra-pandemic review. June coffee is good for quick coffee and a bite. I got an iced coffee ($3.5) and a California sandwich ($7.5). The sandwich is really fresh but a little bland. The mocha is too watery and hot, but decent. But it was quick and friendly, definitely tastes good. The food quality times price and overall vibe is around a 4.5/5.“
“Tonight was the first time that I’ve been to this Starbucks location. Usually, I get anxiety due to all the drink options, drink sizes, etc. I had a very friendly barista who made the order process easy and simple. She was very nice! Drinks were perfect too. Thanks :)“
