“1:39 4 ..ll 5G§ 83 < Reviews Koba Café First coffee shop of 2023! Koba is a cozy shop on the corner. The young lady at the counter was friendly. She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

“I enjoyed talking with the staff and them giving me all the options of coffee . Super
Nice and a relief from hostile coffee environments who act like there aren’t any other choices (myriads). I decided to try an ice coffee 12 oz of FINCA MONTES URALES . Love the notes of vanilla and nutmeg . I went with a whole milk and house vanilla . PHENOMENAL! Wishing you all much forward success in all endeavors of life. Thank you for your kindness the 40 minute drive was worth it💕‼️“

“Small traditional coffee place. Great quality of coffee and most importantly how the owner carefully crafts the drinks he prepares. Absolutely amazing his attention to detail and how consistent the presentation is.
Hopefully all the baristas appreciate the owners dedication and imitate his precision making drinks.“

“Catalog is my favorite coffee shop/cafe in Baltimore. I come here at least once a week and I still haven’t tried all the vegan options, simply because they have so many. Catalog outshines other spots in the city. Everything is perfection: the vibe, the staff, the espresso. I could write love songs about their espresso. It’s sublime. Their nitro iced tea and vegan sandwiches are fantastic. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-05“

“When we lived in Maryland I bought all of our coffee from High Grounds. I have now moved to Georgia and wouldn't consider changing my coffee source. The main reason that one would go to a coffee roaster for the 2nd, 3rd or 99th time would be for the quality of the coffee, and any one who would rate High Grounds less than 5 star“

“I had the biscuit and sausage gravy—to die for! Every bite was pure comfort. And let me tell you, my caramel macchiato was EVERYTHING—sweet, smooth, and perfectly made. The service? Absolutely outta this world. Friendly, fast, and made me feel right at home. Zeke’s, you’ve got a fan for life!“

“Matriarch Coffee lived up to every bit of the hype — and then some.
I’d been hearing about Matriarch Coffee for a while from friends near me in the DMV, and I finally made the drive up to Baltimore to see what all the hype was about.
Short answer: absolutely worth it!Long answer: I’m already thinking about my next excuse to come back.
Walking in, the space immediately delivers. The aesthetic is awesome— the kind of intentional, beautifully designed interior that feels warm and curated rather than staged. It’s trendy without being cold, and the Inner Harbor location makes it that much more special. I know there is a huge renovation planned “down the harbor” , this Matriarch is ALREADY READY! You get all the energy of the waterfront with a cozy, tucked-in feel once you’re inside.
Now, the coffee. I got a latte that was genuinely one of the better cups I’ve had in a long time — smooth, rich, perfectly pulled. I also had a Chai and paired it with a cherry & cheese danish that was fresh and delicious, the ideal complement to the drink. I asked for it heated and it was hot all the way through. Hate it when I get it and it is cold in the middle…the barista understood the assignment and got us right! Everything felt thoughtful, like someone in that kitchen actually cares about what they’re putting out — because they do.
Speaking of which — I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and it all made sense. Warm, passionate, and clearly proud of what they’ve built. Shirts, cups, napkins, and merch that says “I love my Matriarch” is a reminder of the “Why” behind this spot I think. That kind of energy flows through the entire space and staff. You feel it the moment you walk in.
The Matriarch isn’t just a coffee shop. It’s a destination. If you’re in Baltimore, this is a must. If you’re outside the city — make the drive. Trust me.
See you soon, Matriarch!“

“Hella expensive, but worth it, considering the quality (literally the best cappuccino I’ve had in Baltimore, and the finest egg/bacon/cheese this side of Chez Panisse)“
“Very cute little place. Owner is nice, and yes there is a bird! I didn’t realize there weren’t that many pictures because the parrot is usually perched atop the owner’s shoulder…
Unpretentious, very reasonable prices, charming. Would definitely come back.“

“Great place to grab a quick and unique breakfast! We stayed at the Hotel Indigo about 10 minutes walking from this cafe. It was convenient, but also made us feel like we were experiencing Baltimore. We had fantastic sliders, an ube croissant, and coffee. The space is cozy and the service was amazing!!“
“Cute little coffee shop that I didn’t even know it existed! Met up with a workout group in front of this coffee shop. A few day later I decided to finally give it a try. It’s super cute inside! Definitely one of those aesthetic coffee shops. I was surprised on how empty it was inside (only 1 additional customer working on her laptops). I expected the place to be busy considering that it’s right across the street from the law school. I ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato and by far, it is one of the best I’ve ever had!! I didn’t see a food menu and the pastry display was empty. I’ve been back a few times and the drinks keep getting better and better but the lack of traffic has me believing that this new favorite of mine may not make it. The staff is friendly, but can be a bit inattentive when walking in since the place is ghost town and staff is not paying too much attention. Hopefully traffic of picks up soon! This place has potential!!“

“It's a bit cramped, but the staff are friendly. Their selection isn't huge, but what they do offer is pretty tasty.
Paying fifty cents for whipped cream to only get a very little bit crammed under the drinker lid was a bit of a bummer. They should really get some of the dome-style lids.“
“Beautiful people, atmosphere, hand made gifts, and espresso drinks & teas are at Hon’s Honey Marketplace. There are a few tables and warm window-side seating for those who want to sip and read. I’ll absolutely “bee” back! If you’re not in the area, they often have a table at the Maple Lawn farmers market in Howard County, too! I swear their honey has helped my spring and summer allergies.“

“Large, clean, comfortable cafe. Lots of seating. A cool playlist was on, and it was the perfect volume (you could easily tune it out if you were talking or studying). Their coffee is smooth and delicious and the service was very friendly. The egg and cheese biscuit was a little boring taste-wise, but I saw other people's dishes that looked really good. Can't wait to try something else next time.
Also, they have really cool looking merch“

“Reverie coffee is my go to spot for a morning coffee or breakfast sandwich. The staff is so kind and clearly cares about the community, their ingredients are fresh, and the atmosphere is wildly welcoming. I love getting some work done here and chatting with the staff during breaks.“
“My favorite tea, ever. And I am VERY picky about my tea. AND it is very difficult to impress me. AND most tea companies do it wrong. But these people do it Wight 👐 I was initially enchanted when gifted Jasmine tea balls and found out the Jasmine I'd been drinking all my life was trash, haha. Wight changed my life. Since then I have tried a few other varieties including their Marquess Grey which went above and beyond and I completely fell head over heels for. Wow. These teas are so FRESH, fragrant, soothing, and they feel the way tea should in your body: relaxed, happy & fulfilled. I was just gifted their Evening Tisane and am equally enthralled with the product. I can't wait to buy more & gift to my friends & family. Everyone I've ever made a cup of tea for with Wight tea has been amazed by the flavor and aroma. Wight does tea right 🫖“

“we went for my friends birthday which also happens to be valentine’s day, just make sure you know the brisket is a mix of beef and pork it is NOT all beef, and it does not clarify atleast it didn’t at the time of our order. we ordered on a tablet originally so there was no way to check but staff eventually helped us out. their coffee beans (espresso) are pretty good, earthy smell when ground but nice flavor. i’d go again just to pick up espresso beans and get tempted into ordering the whole menu!!“

“A person wouldn’t necessarily think a regular coffee place could become a little mokom of menucha, but this Starbucks actually ends up being exactly that. Sometimes you just need a quiet spot to sit for a few minutes, grab a coffee, maybe learn a shtikel something, answer some emails, or just take a breather — and this place works surprisingly well for that.
The coffee is solid and consistent, which is really what you want from a place like this. Whether you’re grabbing a hot coffee early in the morning before starting the day or an iced coffee when you’re running around doing errands, it does the job nicely. Nothing fancy, just a reliable cup that wakes you up a little — which sometimes is mamash a necessity.
The seating area is comfortable and spacious, and that’s actually one of the biggest advantages here. You’ll see people sitting with laptops, others just relaxing with a drink, and sometimes someone quietly working or learning. The atmosphere tends to be fairly calm, which makes it a decent place to sit for a few minutes without feeling rushed.
Service is generally quick and efficient, especially when it gets busy. The staff keeps things moving so people can grab their coffee and continue with their day.
Another nice thing is the early opening hours. When a place opens around 5 AM, it’s perfect for early risers who want to grab a coffee before davening, work, or a long day of errands. Sometimes a good coffee that early is practically a chiyuv.
All in all, it’s a reliable, comfortable coffee stop. Nothing overcomplicated — just a good place to sit down, grab a coffee, and recharge for a few minutes before continuing with the day.
If you’re nearby and need a quick caffeine boost or a quiet corner to sit for a bit, this Starbucks does the job just fine.“

“I love hipster type places where the menu caters to all types of dietary restrictions. My only issue is that there was two homeless people passed out in the eating area, which kind of caught me off guard considering that a family was just eating there…. I don’t know if that is the norm, but considering it was my first time getting food from there it was off-putting. I get it’s a “cooperative” space, but they were not even moving…. Anyways the food was delicious, but I wouldn’t eat inside. The outside area is nice especially with all the puppers. Parking is nonexistent, but I found a spot two blocks a way then walked.“
