“I came here on a Sunday evening during Restaurant Week, but we wanted to try more dishes so we opted for a couple of them from the regular menu. My favorites were the mixed spread and dolma, as well as the sumac lemonade. Our server, Abdullah, was excellent! The whole dining experience was great from start to finish. Highly recommend this place!“

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and the owners take the time to truly greet every customer of which there are many regulars. “This is a great cocktail bar that also happens to have pretty good food! The only thing holding this review from being 5 stars is that the owner needs to assign more staff to the Saturday evening shift. There was 25-30 customers between 6:30 and 8pm on a Saturday, but only TWO employees working outside the kitchen. No host, no busser, no server. Just ONE waiter and ONE bartender during prime time dinner hours. The bartender was serving food instead of bartending and the waiter was frantically trying to take orders from 10+ tables. No one was bussing (dirty tables were left unattended until new customers arrived) and you had to find the waiter or bartender in order to get a seat. I hope the owner or manager sees this because I felt so bad for the two staff trying to run the front house of this restaurant on a Saturday night. They were doing their best and deserve more help so they can provide better service to customers.“

“The pastry selection at Paris Baguette made it easy to put together a little breakfast spread. We tried the almond croissant, ham and cheese pastry, and a slice of strawberry cake. The croissant had crisp, flaky layers with a sweet almond filling, while the ham and cheese pastry was savory and filling. The strawberry cake was light with just the right amount of sweetness. Everything looked fresh, and the variety made it easy to find something for everyone.“

“lives up to the hype. delicious cookies. not too sweet and great textures. got an americano with the sweet treat, and the coffee was decent as well.

2 cookies + 2 coffees came out to about 19 bucks....but one cookie definitely does fill you up.

“Love the coffee so much, but only thing that bothers me is that they charge you $1.50 for non dairy milk in 2026, and their drinks are already overpriced compared to all of the other coffee spots, so my simple small iced lattes end up being $10 every time. Also there can be quite a wait time and confusion/friction on where to stand in line and who to order with.“

“They always have really good customer service and that brings me back to Nespresso time and time again. I don’t drink a lot of coffee everyday, but love a good homemade latte and affogato. While it’s not as good as fresh beans, I think it’s probably the next best thing if you are tight on time!

You can try their espresso in store too! But they don’t have milk.“

“Loved this bakery breakfast spot! Friendly, attentive service and a great variety of fresh, high quality options. The coffee and matcha were excellent, we ordered variety of dishes which everyone loved.

They were especially accommodating, making sure my grandma had easy access and helping store her walker, which we really appreciated.

“The person at the register was very kind and accommodating. He was patient with my questions and even took a few bucks off because I was buying so many chocolates as gifts. Some of the chocolates are expensive, but there were less expensive options as well. The store has seasonal items and sells drinks like coffee. The seating area was comfortable. Parking can be a little stressful if trying to find parking in a downtown area is usually stressful for you.“

While previous visits to Ruscello were enjoyable, our most recent one was on another level thanks to the superlative service led by Angelina! In 3+ decades of dining out, we can confidently say that Angelina's quality of service is comparable to those of the best servers at the finest of big city dining destinations! Not only was she courteous, friendly, helpful, and attentive, she read our minds! To begin, when we requested our usual Hot Water with Lemon, she had them brought out with Mint--an ingredient which we love but never thought about requesting for our go-to hot beverage! Seeing that we were making our way through the hot water and listening to our appreciation for the addition of mint, she brought out some more without prompt! As for the food, we ordered the seasonal special of Braised Beef Sandwich with Blueberry Glaze, White Cheddar, Garlic Aioli, Pickled Onion, and Arugula that Angelina raved about (choosing the Garden Salad as the accompiment), as well as the Penne Bolognese with Spicy Italian Sausage from the regular menu. When we expressed that we wanted whichever dish was ready first, our pasta arrived beautifully as a split entree shortly after our lemon-mint tea. The pasta was piping hot and fresh, perfectly seasoned, and harmonious in flavors. Then came the Sandwich, also arriving as a split entree with a generous portion of fancy greens dressed with a delicate vinaigrette. The beef was flavorful with demi-glace savoriness and herbiness with a touch of sweetness from the blueberry as well as retaining its juiciness and perfectly matching the gooey cheese and aioli while refreshed by pickled onions and arugula. While the pasta was terrific, the Braised Beef Sandwich was absolutely stellar, which is on par with a top-tiered dish at the fanciest of boutique steakhouses!“

“I recently stopped by La Colombe Coffee Roasters in Bethesda, and it was an absolute delight. The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans filled the air, creating a cozy atmosphere. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee they served was simply exceptional. I highly recommend trying their specialty blends for a truly memorable coffee experience.

“Beautiful salads and sandwiches. Extremely fresh. Prices are reasonable. A large chef salad is $6.25, dressing included, a Ham & Swiss on Croissant is $5.70. Coffee is fresh and hot and delicious with a lot of choices and much less expensive than the coffee shop that starts with an "S". I haven't tried them, but the great variety of breakfast baked goods looks fantastic too. Immaculately clean.“
