“oh my goodness. Everything, the freshest seafood I've seen in just about ever, delicious broths, huge portions, great presentation. My first hot pot experience and I will be back, a lot of times. Met the owner, and he was wonderful too. I highly suggest supporting this tasty, and fresh establishment“

“I ordered from here for the first time and the service was great! They made our food in a fair amount of time and the food tasted good. Their half and half iced tea lemonade was amazing. I ordered two of those after trying out a cup from one container.“

“Lovely traditional Chinese restaurant. Cozy tables and booths. Good food and good service. I had the pork egg foo young and it was delicious. The gravy was perfect. Very generous portions too which made the price easier to take since I got two meals out of it. Will definitely go back.“

“Really love the vibe at this restaurant. The service and food is excellent. I came with my husband and son for lunch and we got Egg Drop Soup, Lemoncello Walnut Shrimp, Vegetable Lo Mein, Basil Eggplant, and Hot Tea. Everything was really good. Our waitress was very nice. Definitely recommend. We also came on a rainy day so it felt cozy.“

“This place has the most authentic Shanghai food in DMV. Well if you argue it should be from your mom's kitchen then you win. I am just comparing this with Shanghai Taste and Bob66. (Shanghai lounge and Nanxiang has nothing to do with Shanghai food from my humble opinion.)
Back to the business. If you are fine with any dishes being sweet then I suggest give everything a try. Something you may find weird, but it is just how things are done in Shanghai. If you want something salty you can get Fuzhu 腐竹 or Moyu魔芋, both are nice cold dishes. But I still suggest Kaofu 烤麸, Lajiang 辣酱 and Ribs小排 even you don't have sweet teeth. Meatball 狮子头 are nice to try as well, and Shenjian生煎 is a must try - I served Shenjian to my parents who still live in Shanghai when they came and they gave a positive feedback.“

“Delicious carry-out! I have been coming here for years, and it's rarely disappointed. Owners are friendly and have a lot of experience, service is quick and food is awesome. Highly recommend the General Tso's Chicken with combination fried rice; best Chinese food I've had anywhere.“

“There were many free parking spaces on the front. The door required a strong pull to open (originally I thought it was closed until I followed someone in). It did offer a few indoor seatings, but I ordered three lunch combinations to go. Given the location and prices, it was great for our quick lunch. The shrimp chow mein came with lots of ingredients. The curry beef came with a few vegetables.“

And I got surprised for my birthday with ice cream and candles ? ? l love Asian nine. Second kid review: I like Asian 9 because it was so fun! It was the best experience I've ever had especially for birthdays it was the ? and its was an amazing service. It's a perfect place for any event?.“

“I went there with my sister, and the cashier Saturday night 11/8/25 was arguing with me and my sister like an immature child. She didn't stop until we walked towards the door to leave. She was very unprofessional and inappropriate with her words.“

“The Dim Sum are tasty and staff are friendly. They have the traditional push carts going around which is nice since you can see and pick the one you like. They do have some speciality items that other dim sum restaurants do not have that I like to eat. There are few dim sum restaurants in the area but I do recommend to give them a try.“

“Recommend the roast pork fried rice and the eggplant dish! Just like home cooking but better. I don’t like eggplant in general but I love their eggplant! Always yummy, never greasy. My picky eater kids love Ming’s. Treat yourself! Even their Americanized Chinese food is good. I want to highlight the dumplings too, it’s doughy and like a Bao bun. Yum.“

“Great place for fast Chinese take out! Quality has been consistent AND the portions are huge for what you pay for! I've been going here maybe once every two-three months within two years and I don't see why I should order from any other Chinese take out places in the area.“

“Lanzhou Hand Pull Noodle in Gaithersburg was a great experience. The Wonton Soup with Hand-Pulled Noodles featured fresh, perfectly chewy noodles in a warm, comforting broth. The Soup Xiao Long Bao was juicy and flavorful with a rich broth inside. My favorite dish was the Popcorn Chicken—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Definitely the standout of the meal. I’ll be back to try more!“

“The fish soup was flavorful, and the portion size was generous. I also liked that you can do a half-and-half soup with both fish and beef if you want to try both.
There are plenty of side dishes to choose from, and the cucumber was refreshing. The sticky rice cake and the spicy sour noodles were just okay and didn't stand out compared to the soup.
The seating area is fairly small, so it's not the best choice for larger groups, though we had no trouble walking in without a reservation. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth. I'd definitely come back for the fish soup.“
