“The summer roll rarely has any noodles inside. This one only had lettuce and one little string of noodle and super tiny sized shrimp. It was disappointing.

Their pho is pretty okay and their prices are not bad for the pho. I would order their pho again. I would not order their pork chop rice or summer rolls. They don’t taste like authentic Vietnamese food.“

“My friends who live nearby rave about this place. Maintaining a top rating on Yelp and Google, I had to go. A friend and I showed up around 1:30pm on a Friday for lunch. The owner greeted us and quickly took our orders.

The Deluxe Meat Combo generously fed two men. Every dish on the injera was tasty, but our favorites were the Shewa Doro Tibs, Shewa Alicha Wot, Shewa Doro Wot, and Shewa Bozena Shiro. The portions are generous that we had to ask for more injera.

The space is no-frills, but comes with a few small tables. Street parking is nearby.“

“My go-to coffeeshop ever since moving to the neighborhood a year ago. The coffee is delicious and every sandwich is made fresh. Comfortable seating on the upper level with views of the nearby park makes for a great spot to relax. Highly recommend over the many chain coffeeshops dotting Navy Yard.“

“Naked lunch is tasty and fresh. The staff is friendly and do their best to manage the long lines. My favorites are the greek potatoes (sub olives for mushrooms!), black bean burger with a side salad, buffalo chickpea tacos, crab cake sandwich, and moler bowl (mix the original dressing with the sesame dressing and add extra mushrooms!). Sometimes, they have a daily/weekly special that highlights an off menu entree, a soup, a muffin, and a drink of some sort. Shout out to Rob! He makes the best food! “When I first moved to Capitol Heights, I assumed that I would have to travel far for vegetarian/vegan food or make it myself. And how surprised was I that there was a vegan restaurant down the road! Each day the menu changes, so you could have a favorite every day of the week. And the portions! You can make SEVERAL meals out of one dinner. Is it cheap? NOPE! But something that's good for your body AND soul shouldn't be.“

We got there on a Saturday morning and ran into a pretty decent line, but the staff were super friendly and it moved along quickly. Nothing beats meat that falls right off the bone and a steak that’s juicy and perfectly cooked.“

“We came here after the nationals game and Dylan was our server and it was his best experience ever. My husband had the liver and onions and I had the cob salad and it was delicious. My sister-in-law had the avocado salad. I would come here at 10 out of 10 a time every single time and don’t forget to ask for Dylan as your waiter. It was amazing. And order the Mojito!“
