The spring rolls were delicious and came with fresh mint, lettuce, rice noodle and peanut sauce to put together. We ordered the catfish with tumeric sauce that was heavenly and complex, and the noodles with brisket. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and will definitely return the next time we visit. “I had a delicious lunch at Eerkin's in Rockville today. My friend and I shared an eggplant salad, an order of manta dumplings stuffed with pumpkin, and an order of fried noodles with chicken. Everything was delicious. The portions were very generous. We enjoyed making our choice from the tea bar--one serving with a complimentary refill was plenty for two people. Service was friendly and attentive. Parking is convenient and free for the first two hours. Looking forward to a return trip!“

“I ordered from here for the first time and the service was great! They made our food in a fair amount of time and the food tasted good. Their half and half iced tea lemonade was amazing. I ordered two of those after trying out a cup from one container.“

“I ordered the veggie dumplings and veggie soup with tofu. The dumplings were good. However, I was disappointed that dumpling sign says mix and match and lists the price as $5.95 for 6 and $9.95 for 12, but when I asked for 12 and asked for half steamed and half fried they charged me for 2 orders of 6 instead of one order of 12. The sign is misleading. They said I couldn't mix and match at the $9.95 price because they are cooked differently. I'm aware. But that's also not mixing and matching. That's just ordering 2 orders of dumplings. The soup was good but felt like it needed something extra. The remaining dumpling sauce, soy sauce, and hot chili sauce made it perfect.

Note: The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the mall next to McDonalds. Parking in the parking garage nearest the mall entrance is best.“

A couple of weeks later, I placed another order and didn't mention the previous issue at all. When I walked into the restaurant, May recognized me immediately and told me she had already put the complimentary sushi roll in my bag. I was so impressed that she remembered me without any reminder.

“This place is kind of difficult to find as it is in the 3rd level on Union Station. I dined here at 4:30pm on a Tuesday and the place was empty. I had the curry laksa noodle which I had never tried before. I'm not sure if this is how they serve it normally but it had two different kinds of noodles. The soup was a bit salty to my taste but it was filling and overall quite good. I would definitely go again if I have to wait before a train.“

I've eaten there 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and it's been excellent every time and affordable! The vegetable tofu soup ($2.95) is huge, satisfying, and full of veggies. The wonton soup ($2.95) has 3 good sized wontons. Both soups come with a bowl of tastier-than-average fried wonton strips on the side that I end up munching on during the entire meal. The sizzling black pepper beef ($16.95?) was tasty, but I was more impressed by the noodle dishes. The beef chow fun ($14.95?) and the Singapore mei fun ($13.95) were beautifully seasoned and cooked perfectly. I've also gotten the salmon nigiri ($5.95?) a couple times, and it's generously portioned and fresh with great quality salmon. Every meal ends with a complimentary tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream and fortune cookie. There are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in MoCo, but Gourmet Asian Bistro is my current favorite for best flavor and value.“

Went there for a birthday party with my girlfriend. We didn't have a reservation we just walked in and told him that we needed eight seats. They hop to it and within moments we sat down and there was a waiter waiting for us to order.

Although the food was good the staff was awesome. At the end the birthday girl even got a free piece of cheesecake and some ice cream.
