“I went for brunch, which is only open on weekends. I wanted to try the other branch in The Wharf, but this branch had just opened, so I came here. I ordered a menu that recreated Paris Brest like a bagel and wine. The menu idea was unique and the taste wasn't that great, but the plating was pretty and I had a satisfying meal, so I think I'll go again. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.“

“Loved eating here. The restaurant smelled faintly of incense, which was a welcome ambiance. Tables are layed out well so it doesn't feel cramped. The space is nice and bright with beautiful decor. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious! Loved every single thing I ordered:

Sheer chai — this tea had a nice balance of milk and sugar

Mantoo classic — these beef dumplings were full of flavor and served at the right temperature, hot but not too much to burn your mouth

Lamb shank — the sauce was packed with flavor and the meat fell off the bones. It came with rice that was a lovely buttery complement to the lamb

Sheer berenj — had this for dessert and it was very refreshing. It's not milky and the pistachios on top added a nice nutty flavor to the rice pudding

Green tea with cardamom — nice way to end dinner“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Minya’s, and it was fantastic! The pizza was absolutely delicious – the crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings fresh, and the cheese melted just right. Whether you’re a fan of classic pizza or looking for something more creative, they have a wide variety of options to choose from. My favorite is definitely the Derho pizza, love the Eritrean fusion of it all!

The service was fast and friendly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal or a night out with friends.

“Closest thing to authentic Texas style bbq in the DMV area. I had the opportunity to try most of the menu. Here’s what I ate.

•Smoked Spicy Sausage- Good. spice hits afterwards.
•Smoked sausage- nice hickory flavored.
•Prime Brisket- moist! Simple seasoning. Nice smoke ring and very tender.
•Spare Ribs- the seasoning makes it flavorful. Tender.
•Dino Ribs- Massive! This can be a meal by itself.
•Smoked Turkey- Tender and juicy. Bland in flavor.
•Mac & Cheese- I had low expectations but they beyond exceed them. Nice, creamy, cheesy and seasoned well.
•Brisket Beans- This has a kick to it due to the jalapeños. Too soupy for my liking.
•Roasted Veggies (red onion, Brussels sprouts, tomatoes) - Good.
•Potato Salad (mustard based)- Heavy mustard taste but it’s advertised as mustard based. Lack spices.
•Cornbread- good
•Smoked Cheese Ball- Interesting concept. Not bad.
•Banana Pudding- Good.

“Stayed here on a family trip and had a great check in experience with Charlotte she walked us to the elevator giving us a run through of the different areas of the hotel which was really nice personable hospitality and also helpful especially travelling as a family ! The Riggs is a beautiful property and shout out to Nickolas in Cafe ! Great service and hospitality overall really great stay !“
