Limited seating in winter but enough and looks like a fun patio for warmer weather. It's in a a neighborhood and good for people watching and just being a part of daily routine of DC.“

“Holy Moly, what an awesome sandwich! I had the italiano, the focaccia was soft, airy and flavorful. The sandwich was a perfect balance of salt, fat, acid, heat. Salt and fat from the meat, acid from the vinaigrette and heat but not too hot from the hot pepper.

“New favorite sandwich! The Philly Special comes loaded with shaved ribeye, cherry pepper mayo, applewood smoked bacon, Cooper Sharp cheese, lettuce, tomato, and super thin red onion. Basically, it’s what would happen if a Philly cheesesteak and a BLT had a baby.

The flavors work well together. The ribeye is tender, the bacon adds a little smokiness, and that cherry pepper mayo gives just the right amount of heat without being too spicy. It’s messy in the best way, the kind of sandwich you need both hands (and a few napkins) for.

“This place has never disappointed me over 3-4 visits at this specific location over 3 years. I’ve tried the one at I think Wheaton or something and Baltimore near Johns Hopkins and this place is always at least a 4/5 and the other locations really paled in comparison.

Comforting to see that a popular train station has reliable fast food. Fries are my favorite kind, crispy on the outside but super fluffy on the inside. Gourmet fries are also delish. Cheesesteaks (as someone who’s never been to Philly yet) seem pretty good at the price point too.“

The home fries are seasoned and prepared with love. They are the best tasting out of all the other places I have visited like Denny's, IHOP, Brookland Grill.

I had a brief conversation with owner and i was told they used very high level oil to fry the food. They definitely care about the quality of the food more than anything. “I decided to give the store and MOST ESPECIALLY the Team 5 stars because it was during lunchtime when i walked in there. Looked like they were making online orders and only servicing a handful of people so it should have been a quick in and out but it wasn’t. But not because they were slow, because they were busy with the online orders and then within minutes the rush came in. I observed this team led by James execute orders online and in person, with professionalism. James had a customer who demanded a refunded from the day before that he wasn’t aware of and assisted her until she was satisfied. Offered her options and provided excellent customer service. Aside from the normal hustle and bustle during the lunch rush which I assume can be a challenge daily, James made sure to take care of each individual customer ensuring the team was meeting expectations. The team was friendly and polite even when I witnessed a customer being rude and disrespectful. When folks are making your food, it’s not a bad idea to be kind. People make mistakes…give grace when grace is needed and it will be contagious and repaid if not paid forward. My parents loved their subs and so did I! Thank you James and team!!!“

Super simple food counter with great breakfast sandwiches, lunch options coffee, etc. I stopped by the other day bc I went to Slipstream for coffee but their food choices were too foo-foo.
