“UPDATE: After discussion with Mid-Atlantic's owner who refunded my order and explained there is a seasonal shortage of their usual 6 oz. flounder, the substitution is from the same distributor and is a smaller 4 oz. flounder, they have not lost a long-time customer. However, I'll be ordering other things (no flounder) in the future! 😁

Poor customer service gets me fired up. 🤯 Especially when you've been a loyal customer. Mid-Atlantic Seafood New Carrollton has lost a long-time customer. When you think you can attempt to pass off tilapia/sway/whiting as flounder and think the customer will not know the difference- not once, but twice- it's a problem, especially when they aren't the same price. 🤑 I now understand why folks check their orders before they leave! Sorry, but if I can't trust you to fill a cook-to-order properly, I can't trust you to eat anything you serve.“

“Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!“

“I stopped in with friends before a event Sunday evening. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had the lentil sambusas and a peanut-infused coffee at the staff’s recommendation. The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.“

“Easily one of my top five dining experiences, anywhere. I've eaten at some of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in NYC, Philly, and D.C., and days later I'm still thinking about my meal at Albi.

The BBQ lamb kebabs were a core memory taste moment. Honestly, they may have ruined lamb for me anywhere else.

Other standouts: the sfeeha, foraged mushroom hummus with wood-fired pita, batata harra potatoes, bbq prawns, knafeh, and the super intriguing urfa biber caramel soft serve (a must if you're into sweet and spicy desserts).

Beyond the food, the service was just as memorable. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server Todd was a total gem.

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“AMAZING food, service, and prices! The mushroom dulet , fish gulash, and honey wine highlights! Because of how well priced it is, I was worried about the proportions, but I was pleasantly surprised about the amount of food that came with each meal! We were two people two ordered two dishes and had plenty of leftovers. Everything was so flavorful, the perfect amount of spiced, and the injera was so soft. This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while, despite it being quiet and unassuming it is absolutely phenomenal food.“

“Honestly thee best raw vegan food I have ever tasted . My favorite right now is the Live burger entree with arugula salad and plantains. For dessert I love their doughnuts OMG so delicious . Anything you try is mouthwatering and absolutely amazing. You can taste the love they put into the food . I travel and hour from Baltimore to Cane &Coconut . “First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.“

The server was polite and professional, but seemed to have too many guests to serve as he was slow to serve us. The French toast was lukewarm warm and unexpectedly crispy. The milk for my coffee was curdled but they replaced it with a fresh cup. The location was convenient for us and overall thermosphere and food were pleasant.“

The soup was still piping hot when I got back to the office. So happy they finally opened a location in Union Station.“

“Everything was amazing on a birthday dinner evening for two. The opening salvo by the staff and charming decor were engaging, and the first potato crisp mushroom dish: sublime. Been thinking about it for weeks. The other dishes and juice pairings went SO well together, and the finale eggplant and fennel skewer was outstanding. “We loved having dinner so much on Friday night that we had lunch on Saturday! Lobster roll was delicious. Great selection of raw oysters. PEI mussels were the best! Service was on point. Friday night Ashley was great and sorry I didn’t get our great servers name on Saturday. Manager Ronald Vasquez was so personable and made us feel like regulars. Wish we lived a bit closer because we would be. Highly recommend!“

My son has a love for Indian food ever since his trip to India. I have never tried Indian food ever. So this was my very first experience. From the moment we walked in the door our amazing experience began. The atmosphere is beautiful and so is the staff. Our server, April was super helpful and very knowledgeable. She has an amazing spirit and is wonderful with her job! The food... was very fresh, aromatic and DELICIOUS!!
