“Thank you for opening an outpost 10 minutes from my house. Service is always great and love the food. Today I had the Bacado Omelet which was great. Also took an order of the Lemon Blueberry Cornbread to go. It’s something for the table to share - or if you’re solo to eat over 3 or 4 days.

I frequently get the Traditional. Friends love the Lemon Ricotta pancakes.

“The drink was fresh, beautifully crafted, and tasted just as amazing as it looked. If you’re a coffee lover or a tiramisu fan, this is a must-try. Every detail was made with care, and you can tell quality ingredients were used.

“Literally so cute and the food/drinks were SO GOOD! The owners were very sweet. I got a hot chocolate and a Nutella and banana crepe and both were absolutely amazing. The hot chocolate was creamy and chocolatey and it was also the perfect temperature. I recommend adding whip cream as it really elevated the flavor with the contrasting temperatures. My friend got a turkey and cheese crepe and a caramel Frappuccino, both of which were very tasty. The savory crepe was super yummy and the caramel Frappuccino was sweet and frozen/creamy. Overall 10/10 and I definitely want to come back in the future.“

“We love the Black Lion in Silver Spring. A very pleasant atmosphere, quiet enough for a conversation, yet busy enough to feel vibrant. I buy my coffee beans there for morning home brewing and love to sit in the cafe with a macchiato. A great addition to the neighborhood.“

“This is a solid breakfast and lunch spot very close to downtown Silver Spring. This is a local mom-and-pop shop that is run by the cutest older couple. I have had breakfast sandwiches, omelets, their breakfast burrito, and I haven't been disappointed with the food yet. While they do have chairs inside, it is really a take-out spot.

This a solid place for your essential breakfast and lunch. I try to always support local and small businesses.“

“I love this place! Small locally-owned cafe with a full service coffee bar where you can get lattes, etc. Coffee is great, sandwiches are great, and I love the Korean bulgogi bowls for lunch. They also do a really delicious breakfast burrito. Nice place to stop into on the way to work or for a quick lunch, and it’s fast.“

“I admire this place! They serve sensational dishes, their menu is varied, The chef in that spot is an expert, I like very much tasting all their dishes. “Although the place doesn't have the word "vegan" anywhere on the menu, they in fact have several vegan pastries, including baklava, napolean and millefeuille. They also have some vegan cakes (slices and full cakes) including black forest, mocha and more, and they even have some vegan cookies. The cashier confirmed that they don't use honey; they make their own sweet syrup which was reported to be vegan. All pastries I have tried have been delicious! “I frequently order from this Panera Bread location due to its convenience to my workplace. Today, I placed a delivery order, and while DoorDash picked up the food and marked it as delivered, I did not receive my order.

I contacted the store and spoke with the manager, Anthony. He explained that once the order is picked up by DoorDash, the store has limited control over the delivery process. Anthony kindly assisted by contacting DoorDash with me on the line; however, the call was disconnected. When I called back, he informed me that DoorDash offered either a refund or a redelivery. Since I was unable to confirm my preference due to the dropped call, he requested that another driver be sent.

Unfortunately, DoorDash did not follow through with sending a second driver. Anthony even took the initiative to follow up with me to check whether my order had been delivered. When it became clear that it had not, he went above and beyond by arranging for one of Panera Bread’s in-house delivery staff to personally deliver my order.

I truly appreciate Anthony’s exceptional customer service and commitment to ensuring a positive experience. His responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Anthony, for your outstanding support.“
