Our meal was a delightful, delicious, delectable multisensory feast.Everything was amazing from the cucumber, herb salad to the burnt cheese cake ice cream. However, my personal highlight was the seafood. I'd recently returned from a beach trip and assure you everything tasted catch of the day fresh. The raw oysters were some of the best I've had. The grilled octopus was sweet, tender and cooked to perfection, it's sauce, a squid ink reduction only emphasized the utter genius therein. I wanted to surprise my husband this year and the CCO, Pedro, was very helpful when it came to helping me with last minute reservations. My husband and I are both Spanish speakers (it is our mother tongue) and we loved interacting with the staff in Spanish (this made it so much more special to us). Now, as for the food. Let me just start by saying that when I told my husband what our dining experience would be like, he was very skeptical. He is an amateur fighter, and when he is not doing “fighting camps” he LOVES to eat. When we arrived he was already making plans to go eat arepas after, to finish filling his tummy. Needles to say, arepas did not happen after, as he was extremely full from all the courses. Each meal was beautifully presented, and tasted just as divine!
