“They put little meat portions in the lamb with green chilli. Even the green chilli and onions were a bigger portion. I ate half the sandwich. Very disappointing I pay $16.50 for this and the Philly cheese steak meal has two Philly cheese steak sandwichs with enough porting on everything. I get lamb meat is pricey but you can't even taste the lamb meat unless you eat it alone. Even that is not satisfying. So I asked my husband is my frybread not good enough? He replied "It is but I thought you didn't want to cook. " so I told him "from here on out no more Hope's frybread it's too pricey for small portions." Even the Frito pie is so small and over priced. Like fill it to the top and then put the bag of chips on the side not in the container. Never again am I ordering here. Neither should you save your money and look on Facebook for Native Food Sales Arizona group. Better luck there and bigger portions and the same price or less than this place. It WAS great the first 6 months being open but not anymore. smh. They did improve of their frybread though it's no longer doughy after being cooked.”

So I went to Mesa Groves instead due to their app said they had some and I didn't want to return to Mesa Grand after what they did. We were visiting from out of town and I saw an article on “Visit Mesa” about the food inclusion initiative they have. Only people with allergies understand the anxiety around eating out and hoping you won’t accidentally be exposed. The first thing we were asked was “What are your allergies?” My mind was instantly at ease. The food was wonderful and the service amazing! I can’t wait to come back.”

“We love coming to this IHOP on Higley and Brown Rd. Maria and Eva are always such wonderful servers to our family and all of our kids. When we cannot make it into the restaurant, we usually order on UberEats or DoorDash.
One morning, when several of my kids’ friends were over, we placed a delivery order and a couple of items ended up missing. Here is where the above and beyond service began. I received an email from UberEats asking if the order was accurate, so I reported the issue. UberEats then told me there was nothing they could do about it.
I decided to call the restaurant directly, and the manager, Chris, immediately knew which order it was. He explained that he himself had notified UberEats that part of the order had been forgotten, but the driver refused to come back for it. In the past, other restaurants have simply told us to pick up the missing items if we wanted them.
Not Chris. He hand delivered the missing items to our home and even offered two complimentary entrees for the next time we visited. When we returned the following week, the team honored that promise without hesitation.
What a great place. We were and continue to be grateful for this level of care. Truly above and beyond customer service.”

I just like regular pancakes she said I thought you asked for that I didn’t ask for it but everything was cold service was crappy at all. It’s like a freak, so it is so never again I’m done with IHOP.”

Catfish dinner, 2. BarBCue shrimp dinner, 3. a side of dirty rice and 4. a side of jumbalaya. I live in Sun Lakes and I drive over to pick up the meal and I need my tail whooped because I did not get the bar tenders name who made small talk as she took my money and gave me the order. The meal was so dad-gone good, that I started with the tartar sauce and the horse radish that was prevelent on my taste buds. On the 5 star restaurant scale an 9+. You can't get more than five on the other scale so I gave em a nine plus. WORTH THE DRIVE! WORTH THE COST! AND THE AMBIANCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE....I'M LIKE ARNOLD, 'I'LL BE BACK!' “My 11 year old son and I stopped in for some sushi tonight and I must say. I've never been so mistreated by a place of business in my entire life. Food was just ok. Nothing special. I ordered 10 piece sashimi, 2 rolls, stuffed jalapeños, miso soup and a sculpin ipa. The girl didn't know what sculpin was and asked for me to point it out on the menu so I did. Our food started coming out and 4 of the 5 items were already on the table and my son and I were starting to get full. The waitress hadn't brought my beer yet and I stopped her and reminded her I hadn't gotten the beer I ordered and I no longer wanted it since we were already pretty far along into our dinner. After I mention this she quickly hurrys to the bar and brings the beer apologizing for the delay. I tell her like I said I no longer wanted it so she took it away. Later when she brings the check the beer that I didn't receive and said I no longer wanted was still on the check. I asked her to please remove it. The owner comes over and in an agitated and aggressive manner asks if there is a problem wirh the bill. I told him yes the beer needed to be removed. He says no he will not remove it since it was already poured. He walks over to bar and brings it back and says here is your beer you need to pay for it. I explained to him how I received it after I had gotten most of my food and no longer wanted it but he refused. He was beyond rude and unreasonable. Most restaurants would take back a beer even if you take a drink and don't like it, I didn't get my beer until I was done with 50% of my food and didn't want it anymore! I mentioned something about his poor customer service and how it's no surprise the place is empty with no customers. The guy gets really heated and demands j pay for the drink. I got up and told my son let's go and the owner begins to assault me pushing me in the shoulder to back me up. 3 of his staff and my son witnessed this. He then stood in front of the doors and would not let us exit until I signed the credit card slip. I went back to the table and signed it "F You" and he let us out but after he read the signature the owner ran outside the store threatening me and getting into my face while calling the cops. His staff even thought he was crazy and were begging me to sign it and they offered to reimburse me $5 cash for the beer. They said their boss was having a bad day. The staff even agreed that the beer came out late which should not have been problem to have it removed. I ended up scribbling something on another copy of the credit card receipt and he finally allowed us to walk away without harassing us. My son was so scared he was calling 911 himself because of how the owner was assaulting me and up in my face. All this mistreatment over a $5 draft beer. I will never step foot in this place again and I should press charges against the owner for putting his hands on me and assaulting me. He even mentioned he has it all on camera so he can validate himself everything that took place. I read over other reviews for this place and it seems this owner likes to argue and fight rather than take accountability for his and his staffs actions. It's unacceptable for anyone to EVER be treated this way, EVER.”

I came across something that required them to replace my bowl of broth, and they were apologetic and got me a new bowl. The food was delicious, although I would probably avoid the crab legs next time. Only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the size of the tables. There were 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) and that 4 top table was SO SMALL. When you put the broth on the burners, the remote to the individual burners, the meats, each of us had a plate of noodles and veggies, individual bowls, drinks, appetizers or plates from the grill or sushi, etc. it was nearly impossible to feel comfortable while eating. The servers said we can put things on the ledge next to the table, but even then there was barely any room for things. So even though the food was really good it was a very stressful experience trying to eat and not bump into each other or shove plates off the table.”

Jesslyn was busy and on it and just a delight to be around! Chassis built a killer staff. The staff was helpful and obviously happy even though busy. The bun was grilled and buttery, covered in beans and sauces and the dog was wrapped in crunchy bacon. The place is spacious and clean with friendly staff. After perusing the menu, I decided on Chicken with Chinese greens. I specifically asked for Chinese broccoli aka Gi lan. I heard the lady repeat the order in Chinese to the cook. I looked at the window where several roasted ducks and BBQ pork aka char siu hung. Both looked moist and I made a mental note to get some char siu for hubs next time. The meal was ready quickly, boxed and bagged up to go. Tonight’s meal was delicious. Not oily at all. The chicken was really tender. They used the trademark way of making the chicken tender and plentiful. If you don’t know what I am talking about, just Google it. Most Chinese cooks do this to their wok fried chicken. The gai lan was super crunchy and lots of it. They made the veggie perfectly. One day when I get the yen for duck, I would like to return. Generous portions. All in all, a great experience.”

“We’ve been going here for a very long time. I’ve noticed the managers are very stingy. I think it makes the other employees a bit uncomfortable. I’d hate my kids working there, it doesn’t seem like a good environment. However, the food is amazing and the portions are very good sized, usually. Every now and then I’ll be surprised by how little meat there is. Tonight my salad had no cheese or peppers but lots of meat. A little inconsistent. The shocker tonight was this though; we just got back from Greece last week and we’re missing gyros and baklava, so we ordered and I ordered baklava for the first time. Around $2.50, I thought “wow, Greece pricing!” (The food there was very affordable). I got it and my whole family laughed out loud. It was no joke, a 1”x1” square (see picture haha) So I certainly won’t order that again. But the one bite baklava was delicious. We always go back, but wish the cooks/managers were a little friendlier and the food was more consistent.”

“My husband made reservations at Annabella's Restaurant for Thanksgiving Day and let me tell you it was just fabulous. I told the chef and manager that I would let Leisure World know. They have been under new management since May 2018. We had booked our reservation late this year and could not be seated at McCormick Ranch or Wrigley Manson. Annabelle's was available although the old reviews were not so good. We booked it anyway because it was close and available. I am so happy we did not listen to the bad reviewsWe went and it was better than our past experience at McCormick Ranch and not as expensive. It was buffet style and had all the traditional varieties of food for Thanksgiving. The gravy and stuffing were excellent. They also had a breakfast brunch buffet and a wonderful salad bar with specialty meats, salad, and cheeses, dessert table. The buffet price included free Champagne or Mimosa's upon your arrival. We would highly recommend Annabelle's with it's vintage 1950's glamour and gorgeous chandeliers. So, if you want atmosphere and fine dining it is here at Annabelle. They are also open for breakfast lunch and dinner daily with outdoor pool view patio seating. We definitely are going there again and again and it's so close. I hope you take my recommendation and visit this restaurant so they can stay in business. We need a fine dining place close to L.W.Sally & Dave Perry”

“Olive Garden is one of my favorite places to eat a lunch or dinner, I always get full, because their bread sticks are so good, and everyone there are so nice.
I've yet tried any item there that did leave me wanting more, thats is how your taste buds are being satisfied. Like I never eat eggplant 🍆 not even at home, but Olive Garden's eggplant is so good it leaves me wanting more.
Another thing I like about Olive Garden is, their restaurants are always clean, including their bathrooms. The staff is always nice and quick to remove used dishes once you have eaten everything off it or pushed it away like to say, I am done, can't eate another bite. They politely ask you if you are done and if you want a carry out box, and if you answer yes, they quickly either bring you a container or remove your dishes.
Even if you don't normally eat Italian food, rest assured you can safely eat almost anything they offer. Like their soops are great, especially the minestrone soop, the salads, both are just vegetables prepared in a way to wake your taste buds up, just for starters. I love their pasta dishes, like their Alfredo sauce pasta dish, or the spaghetti, and meat balls, the red sauce is fixed just right, and it never leaves me with indigestion or heart burn.
The prices are fair, and you get full, ive yet to see anyone who is with me that doesn't get full and ends up taking food home, all for around $20 to $30 dollars each and thats usually after the tip is applied.
You have to try Olive Garden, it like a great chip, except you can't eat there just once, you will leave thinking about when you can return for another meal, so do yourself and your taste buds a favor, have lunch or dinner and find a new favorite place to eat.
I only wish they served breakfast, it would have to be out of this world 🌎 I'm sure.
I also like Olive Garden because they have plenty of tables which makes it easy for those with a physical disability to eat out without having to workout being able to set up close to the table easily, and their entrance are wheelchair accessible so everyone can enjoy and have a good time out.

I tried a few different tacos (carne castor, chicken, and the fried shrimp) that broth was unlike any other I’ve tried. All of this with a side of rice & beans 10/10. The salsas are also really good. Frozen marg was delish! I can’t forget the freshly made tortillas.
I came with my mom she ordered the chicharones the cheese and seasoning on top of these was elite.

“We made the drive from across town to try this restaurant after seeing them on Tiktok. Our biggest selling point was that the pink tacos are dye free! After talking with one of the owners, she did confirm she used beets for coloring in her made-from-scratch corn tortillas. She was very friendly and took very good care of us while we were there. The food was absolutely delicious. I was very pleased with the beet salsa as I am allergic to tomatoes. The food was a good portion for the price. We all left satisfied, especially my kids. The biggest down side is that it's hard to find unless you're looking for it. I highly recommend making the effort to find them!”

“The servers are very knowledgeable about gluten free options. I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten free. The gentleman named Brad who was our server explained that they take precautions and clean the area where gf food is cooked. He even double checked with the chef to make sure they would prepare my food safely. I got a burger with lettuce and tomatoes to be on the safe side. Surprisingly it was actually really delicious! The gf bun is an Udi’s hamburger bun. We will definitely be returning when we ride down here again! There is also a beautiful view of the lake!”
