If you are looking to expand your pallet, their traditional dishes are flavor bombs. It isn't overbearing spicy, it is hot and tingling numbing to the taste buds. It took a bit of time for us to decipher the menu and I highly recommend you look at their website for pictures to pre-plan dishes you'd want. We highly recommend the chili dumplings, sliced beef & tongue in chili sauce, pork ribs with spices as starters. The pork ribs in dry pot was texture heaven. We had to get some vegetables and the stir-fried green beans made an omnivore out of me, it was addicting. I want to get the same dish we had the first time again, but I have high hopes for the rest of their offerings.”

I just like regular pancakes she said I thought you asked for that I didn’t ask for it but everything was cold service was crappy at all. It’s like a freak, so it is so never again I’m done with IHOP.”

Such a cute little hidden gem in Mesa with the most chill, welcoming atmosphere from the second you walk in. It’s busy for a reason, but somehow still feels laid back and cozy instead of chaotic. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful while explaining the menu since it was our first visit. You can immediately tell customer service matters here — not in a forced way, just in that authentic “we actually care if you enjoy your experience” kind of way.
The bagels and bialys were genuinely phenomenal. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly textured — the kind of thing where after the first bite you immediately understand why people keep talking about this place. The cream cheese was ridiculously good too.
I got a breakfast sandwich on a biali and it was absolutely incredible. Fresh ingredients, great portion size, super satisfying without feeling overly heavy. We also got reuben sandwich on a bagel, and honestly both were delicious in their own way. Everything tasted fresh-made and thoughtfully prepared.
Even though they were busy, the staff kept checking in, thanking people for waiting, and keeping the energy upbeat and friendly the entire time. Honestly, the wait didn’t even matter because the vibe was so cute and the food was 100% worth it.

A lovely employee came out with a genuine smile and genuine care to tell me they were packing up the order, it would be a few minutes and offered to bring me anything I wanted to drink. I declined and she asked me if I was sure. When the order was ready, another truly friendly employee brought the order out and she offered to stay there --- in the blazing heat and sun while I was in my A/C car --- if I wanted to check the order before leaving! Our order was accurate and fresh and piping hot. I drove about 25 minutes out of my way to go to this location (from South Scottsdale to Fiesta Mall in Mesa) because the location 2 miles away from my home was closed to make room for new apartments. “My 11 year old son and I stopped in for some sushi tonight and I must say. I've never been so mistreated by a place of business in my entire life. Food was just ok. Nothing special. I ordered 10 piece sashimi, 2 rolls, stuffed jalapeños, miso soup and a sculpin ipa. The girl didn't know what sculpin was and asked for me to point it out on the menu so I did. Our food started coming out and 4 of the 5 items were already on the table and my son and I were starting to get full. The waitress hadn't brought my beer yet and I stopped her and reminded her I hadn't gotten the beer I ordered and I no longer wanted it since we were already pretty far along into our dinner. After I mention this she quickly hurrys to the bar and brings the beer apologizing for the delay. I tell her like I said I no longer wanted it so she took it away. Later when she brings the check the beer that I didn't receive and said I no longer wanted was still on the check. I asked her to please remove it. The owner comes over and in an agitated and aggressive manner asks if there is a problem wirh the bill. I told him yes the beer needed to be removed. He says no he will not remove it since it was already poured. He walks over to bar and brings it back and says here is your beer you need to pay for it. I explained to him how I received it after I had gotten most of my food and no longer wanted it but he refused. He was beyond rude and unreasonable. Most restaurants would take back a beer even if you take a drink and don't like it, I didn't get my beer until I was done with 50% of my food and didn't want it anymore! I mentioned something about his poor customer service and how it's no surprise the place is empty with no customers. The guy gets really heated and demands j pay for the drink. I got up and told my son let's go and the owner begins to assault me pushing me in the shoulder to back me up. 3 of his staff and my son witnessed this. He then stood in front of the doors and would not let us exit until I signed the credit card slip. I went back to the table and signed it "F You" and he let us out but after he read the signature the owner ran outside the store threatening me and getting into my face while calling the cops. His staff even thought he was crazy and were begging me to sign it and they offered to reimburse me $5 cash for the beer. They said their boss was having a bad day. The staff even agreed that the beer came out late which should not have been problem to have it removed. I ended up scribbling something on another copy of the credit card receipt and he finally allowed us to walk away without harassing us. My son was so scared he was calling 911 himself because of how the owner was assaulting me and up in my face. All this mistreatment over a $5 draft beer. I will never step foot in this place again and I should press charges against the owner for putting his hands on me and assaulting me. He even mentioned he has it all on camera so he can validate himself everything that took place. I read over other reviews for this place and it seems this owner likes to argue and fight rather than take accountability for his and his staffs actions. It's unacceptable for anyone to EVER be treated this way, EVER.”

The food was absolutely delicious. I was very pleased with the beet salsa as I am allergic to tomatoes. The food was a good portion for the price. We all left satisfied, especially my kids. The biggest down side is that it's hard to find unless you're looking for it. I highly recommend making the effort to find them!”

“Found through a random Google search when I was craving for beef noodles. Hidden gem! The dumplings are so good reminds me of home, growing up with dumplings. Highly recommend this place for true flavors of different dumplings. Authentic and fresh. The beef noodles were also good too, there were enough noodles to make it two meals for leftovers. Will definitely be coming back again.”
