Very disappointing I pay $16.50 for this and the Philly cheese steak meal has two Philly cheese steak sandwichs with enough porting on everything. I get lamb meat is pricey but you can't even taste the lamb meat unless you eat it alone. Even that is not satisfying. So I asked my husband is my frybread not good enough? He replied "It is but I thought you didn't want to cook. " so I told him "from here on out no more Hope's frybread it's too pricey for small portions." Even the Frito pie is so small and over priced. Like fill it to the top and then put the bag of chips on the side not in the container. Never again am I ordering here. Neither should you save your money and look on Facebook for Native Food Sales Arizona group. Better luck there and bigger portions and the same price or less than this place. It WAS great the first 6 months being open but not anymore. smh. They did improve of their frybread though it's no longer doughy after being cooked.”

I had placed an order in the app at Mesa Grand for the Dubai Brownie for next day pick up. They not only gave my order away they made up different excuses for their mess up. Not even trying to make it right. Just said come back and hopefully we will have some Tuesday. So I went to Mesa Groves instead due to their app said they had some and I didn't want to return to Mesa Grand after what they did. The nachos were ok. Not bad, but I probably would not order them again. Overall, I was pleased with the order and will return in the future.”

The cheese pizza was thin, cheesy and perfect, I would say this is my favorite cheese pizza in the state so far. “The last time for me to eat in IHOP again I saw the server take jelly off of peoples plates that she cleaned off from the table and the ones that were on opened. She put them back with the rest of the jelly I ordered regular pancakes came out they came out with lemon, something and whip cream on them. I just like regular pancakes she said I thought you asked for that I didn’t ask for it but everything was cold service was crappy at all. It’s like a freak, so it is so never again I’m done with IHOP.”

They have generous portion sizes, making it easy to share. The menu can be a little overwhelming, but they offer everything you can think of, including American style Chinese food.
My favorites are the cucumber salad, and anything they do with chicken; the spicy crispy chicken with crispy peppers, the kun pao chicken, and the pan fried chicken with green peppers. They have never disappointed.”

“My 11 year old son and I stopped in for some sushi tonight and I must say. I've never been so mistreated by a place of business in my entire life. Food was just ok. Nothing special. I ordered 10 piece sashimi, 2 rolls, stuffed jalapeños, miso soup and a sculpin ipa. The girl didn't know what sculpin was and asked for me to point it out on the menu so I did. Our food started coming out and 4 of the 5 items were already on the table and my son and I were starting to get full. The waitress hadn't brought my beer yet and I stopped her and reminded her I hadn't gotten the beer I ordered and I no longer wanted it since we were already pretty far along into our dinner. After I mention this she quickly hurrys to the bar and brings the beer apologizing for the delay. I tell her like I said I no longer wanted it so she took it away. Later when she brings the check the beer that I didn't receive and said I no longer wanted was still on the check. I asked her to please remove it. The owner comes over and in an agitated and aggressive manner asks if there is a problem wirh the bill. I told him yes the beer needed to be removed. He says no he will not remove it since it was already poured. He walks over to bar and brings it back and says here is your beer you need to pay for it. I explained to him how I received it after I had gotten most of my food and no longer wanted it but he refused. He was beyond rude and unreasonable. Most restaurants would take back a beer even if you take a drink and don't like it, I didn't get my beer until I was done with 50% of my food and didn't want it anymore! I mentioned something about his poor customer service and how it's no surprise the place is empty with no customers. The guy gets really heated and demands j pay for the drink. I got up and told my son let's go and the owner begins to assault me pushing me in the shoulder to back me up. 3 of his staff and my son witnessed this. He then stood in front of the doors and would not let us exit until I signed the credit card slip. I went back to the table and signed it "F You" and he let us out but after he read the signature the owner ran outside the store threatening me and getting into my face while calling the cops. His staff even thought he was crazy and were begging me to sign it and they offered to reimburse me $5 cash for the beer. They said their boss was having a bad day. The staff even agreed that the beer came out late which should not have been problem to have it removed. I ended up scribbling something on another copy of the credit card receipt and he finally allowed us to walk away without harassing us. My son was so scared he was calling 911 himself because of how the owner was assaulting me and up in my face. All this mistreatment over a $5 draft beer. I will never step foot in this place again and I should press charges against the owner for putting his hands on me and assaulting me. He even mentioned he has it all on camera so he can validate himself everything that took place. I read over other reviews for this place and it seems this owner likes to argue and fight rather than take accountability for his and his staffs actions. It's unacceptable for anyone to EVER be treated this way, EVER.”

These are some if not most of what my basic requirements are when visiting one of these establishments each time. Then more specifically comes, of course, the food. On our last visit we devoured some really good Spicy Chicken Bites. A superbly prepared parmesan crusted Spinach Dip along with the perfectly prepared Three Dons Margarita. On various previous occasions we enjoyed their excellent White Cheddar stuffed mushrooms, terrific Steakhouse wings, fab Firehouse T-Bones and Flo’s Filet is always utterly well made. This is just the tip of the iceberg of our tastings at Longhorn Steakhouse. My wife and I do not pretend to be professional reviewers but are most definitively connoisseurs of excellent foods whether a fine upscale cuisine, middle-of-the-road common eats, or a low-end fast-food joint. In this way, I have developed a to-the-point method for determining the personal worthiness of each establishment visited as noted in my opening. Simplified, each requisite noted for the establishment visited best scored by my highest score offered. Longhorn Steakhouse Mesa scores a 3.5 of a potential 5.0. Take note the peripheral score of 3.6 does not represent the food’s 4.5 rating. Bon appétit.”

There were 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) and that 4 top table was SO SMALL. When you put the broth on the burners, the remote to the individual burners, the meats, each of us had a plate of noodles and veggies, individual bowls, drinks, appetizers or plates from the grill or sushi, etc. it was nearly impossible to feel comfortable while eating. The servers said we can put things on the ledge next to the table, but even then there was barely any room for things. So even though the food was really good it was a very stressful experience trying to eat and not bump into each other or shove plates off the table.”

Parking spaces were available during the lunch hour. Only one other diner but that didn’t stop me. The diner was eating duck and I noticed how good it looked. Not too fatty like some I have had. The place is spacious and clean with friendly staff. After perusing the menu, I decided on Chicken with Chinese greens. I specifically asked for Chinese broccoli aka Gi lan. I heard the lady repeat the order in Chinese to the cook. I looked at the window where several roasted ducks and BBQ pork aka char siu hung. Both looked moist and I made a mental note to get some char siu for hubs next time. The meal was ready quickly, boxed and bagged up to go. Tonight’s meal was delicious. Not oily at all. The chicken was really tender. They used the trademark way of making the chicken tender and plentiful. If you don’t know what I am talking about, just Google it. Most Chinese cooks do this to their wok fried chicken. The gai lan was super crunchy and lots of it. They made the veggie perfectly. One day when I get the yen for duck, I would like to return. Generous portions. All in all, a great experience.”

This is not your typical boring TexMex burrito with red sauce. The food was unusual and delightful. We started with Elotes and Huitlacoche Quesadillas. It was excellent but being billed as appetizers, we also ordered Rellenos and Tamales. We could have stopped with the appetizers as it was substantial and very tasty but we continued on with our main course and were not at all disappointed. We also had a very nice visist with the owner who served us and truly enjoyed the entire experience. Highly recommend Los Sombreros in Mesa and we will be back.”

“My husband made reservations at Annabella's Restaurant for Thanksgiving Day and let me tell you it was just fabulous. I told the chef and manager that I would let Leisure World know. They have been under new management since May 2018. We had booked our reservation late this year and could not be seated at McCormick Ranch or Wrigley Manson. Annabelle's was available although the old reviews were not so good. We booked it anyway because it was close and available. I am so happy we did not listen to the bad reviewsWe went and it was better than our past experience at McCormick Ranch and not as expensive. It was buffet style and had all the traditional varieties of food for Thanksgiving. The gravy and stuffing were excellent. They also had a breakfast brunch buffet and a wonderful salad bar with specialty meats, salad, and cheeses, dessert table. The buffet price included free Champagne or Mimosa's upon your arrival. We would highly recommend Annabelle's with it's vintage 1950's glamour and gorgeous chandeliers. So, if you want atmosphere and fine dining it is here at Annabelle. They are also open for breakfast lunch and dinner daily with outdoor pool view patio seating. We definitely are going there again and again and it's so close. I hope you take my recommendation and visit this restaurant so they can stay in business. We need a fine dining place close to L.W.Sally & Dave Perry”

“We stopped in here on our way home from work and ordered their beef tacos with rice and beans. Tacos were super good! I would have given 5 stars, but I feel the portion size for the rice and beans could have been a bit larger, but overall it was very good! Will definitely come back!”

“Had lunch here yesterday and was so surprised to find this quaint spot less than a mile from home. Loved the open space for seating, gaming, or just sitting in comfortable chairs to visit. Service was great, food excellent, and prepared on site. Vegan and GF choices was bonus. So glad to have a quality choice in Mesa! Will def be going back.”

“We hosted a Welcome Party for 100+ guests the evening before our daughter's wedding on the patio space at the Grille. It couldn't have been nicer! We worked with Kyle Becket by phone leading up to the event, and he helped us organize every detail of the food, beverages and amenities. Everything was ready to go when we arrived and as we had planned. The patio is a great outdoor space with plenty of room for socializing. We were a bit worried with the extreme heat, but the breeze off the course and the misters allowed everyone to be comfortable. We had many compliments from our guests on the food, the friendly service, the quality of the beverage offering and the beautiful venue space. Thank you to Kyle and the serving staff for a perfect evening to kick off the wedding celebration!”
