“This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. I’m definitely coming back just based off of how good their hash browns looked. 10/10. Definitely coming back!“

“We had a phenomenal experience at Lena. We sat at a high top right along the kitchen. The staff was truly exceptional. Nolan and Mike were great and the chefs were beyond knowledgeable and friendly. We had the tinned fish, perch and clams. Everything was fabulous! Unfortunately we did not take any photos but will certainly be back and would highly recommend.“

“My cousin wed their beautiful bride last night and their original post wedding brunch location fell through at the last minute. Groups of us came through right as Supergeil opened. Now let me tell you, they moved mountains to host our celebration. The food was incredible and the warm hummus was some of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you thank you thank you for today! “If I knew how to post a picture to this review I would. The food looked amazing but when I lifted the potatoes up from my breakfast bowl it was so much grease. Edit. After speaking with them they corrected the situation and assured me it was a one time thing. I appreciate the fast response and them taking the time to talk to me. Really nice group of team members and I appreciate Michael for speaking with me face to face.“

“The Ham Shop truly feels like a hidden gem in Detroit, and I’m so glad I stumbled across it! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The food came out fast and hot, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. And I HAVE to mention the lemon rice soup, SO GOOD, I had to make a request to have one to go!

The owner was also incredibly friendly and personable. He took the time to chat and made the whole experience feel so welcoming and personal.

“So disappointing. Yearssssss ago, this place used to be my go to for Mediterranean dishes. After 2020, this place has consistently gone down hill. At first it was "hit or miss" but its all "miss". So much so that I went to be bed hungry vs eating my carry out. It's so unfortunate because they used to be so good. Yesterday was my last try, I bow out.“

“Stop in here after a Tiger game. Walking distance from the stadium. Friendly service and great food. Pretty pricey but what isn't anymore. Better than paying ridiculous prices. Inside the ball park for junk food. Walked away with a happy belly. And leftovers for lunch the next day. Love that garlic sauce yum 😋“

“Here at Byblos for the second time. Byblos serves authentic Lebanese food. Let me begin by saying that the owner is such an awesome guy. I came to the establishment on Sunday when they are actually closed and they still served me a wonderful beef sandwhich. The beef is seasoned very well and it is amazing. So amazing, I had to come back for more. On my second visit, they exceed all expectations with a beautiful chicken and rice platter with salad, hummus, and pita bread. I have had a lot of Mediterranean dishes and Persian dishes in my lifetime to say that Byblos by far has the best hummus I have ever had. The chicken and rice are such a healthy and delicious combination that is not heavy. Many other establishments use too much oil that it can feel too much. Honestly, the portions delivered are enormous. I am having trouble finishing it. Not one aspect is not overflowing. May God bless your restaurant!“

“Very spacious, nice servers and the food was good. One of the issues I have had with some Bucharest grills is they put way too much grease on the food but this wasn't too bad. My cousin likes to get the shawarma and empty the contents onto his fries and then eat the bread separately. I thought that was pretty interesting.“

“Now this place is amazing. It has everything you want. The food is fantastic. Lots to pick from and the guys behind the counter are not your typical store food chefs. They are making art with food. Your mouth will know the difference. Plus they have a full store of goods and drinks. It's a one stop shop for basically anything you need. The staff is very cool. One guy reminds me of Sal for Deadwood. It's fun just to visit. They also deliver if you don't want to go there. Reminds me of some southern cooking. One guybhas 25 yrs in the place cooking and creates some amazing dishes like chicken alfredo stuff potatoes. Or Lamb chops. Wingdigs are out of this world. Full kitchen with lots of choices.“

I live out of state now, but always make sure I get my shwarma bowl when I come to town for work. The owner and some staff remember me and always make me feel at home :)“
